16.50 for a small salad, definitely too expensive!

By chance I visited the Cafe Restaurant Turm with my two aunts Bernadette and Claire because I was in the mood for the Cordonbleu fries and vegetables menu of the day. It's also easy to reach by train and bus and the weather was also very suitable. Another visit is possible!

1x Cafe Cream CHF 4.40 & 1x Doppio CHF 5.20 espresso is in the normal price range. But then comes the hammer: Two 3dl glasses of tap water for Sage&schreibe CHF 2.50 each! The answer to our corresponding comment: Upon request, we would have explicitly ordered a large glass of water ~ the small glass would have been included in the cafe price. This is an order & attitude 'from above' ~ obviously the service staff, who are otherwise very friendly, are not at all comfortable with this unpleasant (& illegal?) practice of ripping off the customer. Conclusion: Service friendly. Business practice: lousy. Recommendation: avoid this Cafe Turm!

Worth it for a small, nice stopover. What is particularly commendable is the fact that almost exclusively regional suppliers are used. The atmosphere is rather plain and the unsuitable lighting unfortunately contributes to an uncomfortable ambience. What is pleasing, however, is the clean and nicely designed children's corner.

The bakery with restaurant is very nice and the staff is very friendly. You can see the cafe tower on the right with a terrace and parking lot. With daily menu and dessert plus bread and sweets. Great!!!

Coffee ok. Conditions gave us the impression I don't like working, what are you doing here. It took a long time for anyone to come without it being full. Lunch would be even better at home. Many people come because it is close to the cross-country ski slope and right on the road.

Really nice traditional coffee shop with a large selection of delicious cakes, coffees and teas. We had an amazing apfelstrudel and vanillasause. The coffee was amazing and the best thing of all was the service. The waitress was very polite and kind and she handled our attempted German very well. There is outdoor seating around the side as well as the indoor tables. There is also ample parking as it can get busy in here which is a sign of their quality. Go check it out for yourself. 5*****

The service was very friendly, the food was very good. In terms of price, it's more in the upper segment. For example, the hamburger for Fr 15.00 without fries or salad was too expensive for me.

Despite waiting for 15 minutes, we were neither greeted nor served. The service staff was overwhelmed because this one person only took a table on the terrace, went in and brought out the order. This happened table by table... The staff also had no idea which tables should be served first. All in all not recommended

Good food, beautifully presented. Nice staff and reasonable prices.

We expected a quick bite at a road side, we were in for a proper traditional Swiss menu, with ingredients from the region. The place is easily recognised because it's very close to the landmark church (shown in the pictures). Children accomodation is as good as I have rarely seen (also shown in the pictures). If next time I will be in a hurry, I will try their backery and pastry.

Great coffee with a small menu. Had salad with crispy fish (not convenience food!), it was very tasty and the piece of cake was awesome! All this at a reasonable price! The staff was also very friendly! I love my Switzerland so much, thank you!
