Café Verdaine in Genève

Recently they restarted this restaurant. It's crowded during the day, but not so much at night now, making it a great choice. Eventually, the evenings will start to get busy too. The food and drinks are delicious. The servers, owner, and kitchen staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the white wine recommended by the servers and ended up purchasing it from the restaurant for home. It was a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back soon! Why am I limited to giving only five stars for the service I experienced here? An exceptional server deserves an additional two stars. Seven stars!

We were really well received by Sophie at Verdaine. The menu is made up of fresh produce, the perch fillets are delicious. The setting is very pleasant and the service efficient. We will come back. Well done!

Cozy and pleasant restaurant at the foot of the old town. We enjoyed the good prawn risotto and grilled octopus. Really great value for money. The food is delicious and the menu is great, it made us want to taste everything. We were served by a charming, efficient and responsive person. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back to eat. I recommend !!!

In the heart of the city of Calvin, a gem that I discovered on rue Verdaine. I enjoyed a delicious roast chicken, accompanied by roasted endives and sweet potatoes as well as a dish of rigatoni with gorgonzola and walnuts. For a daily special price, never seen before in Geneva and the little coffee for three francs. Located in the heart of the old town, this pretty little Restaurant, with lots of character and its freestone arch, offers a friendly place which also allows you to come and work in the morning in its Coworking spaces. I also loved the concept of three different daily specials every day to combat monotony and the classic restaurant menus which never change… In short, an address to recommend. I intend to pack my bags there for my return to my adopted city!!!

This was the 2nd time we have eaten at this restaurant and we were very disappointed. The delicious hamburger, the cordon bleu too, but it lacked accompaniments, cornettes are not the most expensive product. For dessert we had a gourmet coffee, at 1.00 p.m., 3 tiny little cakes and to finish we had 2 glasses of wine 1.00 p.m., and what was our surprise on the bill we were charged 3.00 for water. This restaurant will not see us again, we must not exaggerate.

Reservations made on La Fourchette for dinner. Arriving in front of the restaurant, it is under construction and therefore closed.. no way to get anyone on the phone, or information on the internet. It is not normal !!

Very pretty café, with superb decoration and very fine and slightly daring cuisine. The incredibly fast and present service is run by a very friendly and efficient waitress. The cuisine alternates very traditional dishes and quite unexpected combinations.
