First time for me at the Designers' Ball. With Chloé, new arrival (for a month) and her work is just great! I had a very beautiful polar blonde (ash) transformation and the result is just crazy! Chloé is also super nice and gives good advice. She takes great care and works extremely well. I highly recommend it, as does the lounge which is a warm place. I can say that I have now found my salon and my hairdresser in Geneva!

Do everything to charge as much as possible

I was at Le Bal des Créateurs for the first time but I know it’s not the last one. I wanted to cut my hair and I made an appointment for Johan. He’s such a talented hairdresser but modest and super kind at the same time -the combination so rare nowadays! We had detailed conversation about my expectations and how he sees it. He was checking if I am okay with proposed changes. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. I was stunned by the final result. I got exactly what I counted for. My hair looks beautifully. I am really glad that I got to this place and Johan. I will be back for sure. Thank you so much! 🤩

I had a hairdresser for 15 years so when I moved here, I had to find a new person. I am SO lucky to have found Jonathan at Bal des créateurs. I am always looking forward to my appointment. It is a beautiful treat. Not only this place has a beautiful energy but it is also full of extremely talented and passionate professionals, human beings. They welcome you warmly and really make you feel like you are on a mini retreat. Jonathan has been my hairdresser since 2018 and I could not be happier, from cuts, to balayage and brushing. He is amazing, extremely talented artist,and very patient with me;) Super bonus, they have delicious juices, coffees, teas prepared with live and their hair wash area is pure bliss! I will stay put. This is the best place!

This is the first time with a hairdresser that the result has exceeded my expectations. 3 hours on the dot of careful work on long hair for wicking-glossy-cutting-care-drying-brushing. Fantastic place, first time visit- and I left with a huge smile on my face, i went to see Guillaume who was recommended by a friend and indeed he truly got golden hands!! He works with natural colors only so for those like me who didn’t know- it’s possible not to put any chemicals on the head and achieve a great look :) what an amazing discovery!! will definitely be back in a very short time))) merci!

The price is high, but it is worth it, I have been twice, I got 2 very different menus and in both cases it has been growing very well over the months.

A disaster I don’t know what products are used for balayage…. And let’s not talk about styling. You come out of there as you entered...

Both Shannon and Kevin were really kind, precise and understanding with my daughter, as to what they could do, the treatment required, and helping her for her future hair health. It's a shame to feel that the excellent hairdresser is pressed for time and we feel that the appointments are back-to-back with little time to devote to each client. The hairdressers know their job and are always patient and attentive to your wishes. It would also be appreciated if the reception staff could avoid coming to talk/distract/disturb/press the employee during the haircut, if he/she rightly takes his/her time to do a careful job. Sorry for the 3 stars but this happened and it was quite embarrassing. On the other hand, if the men's area upstairs is discreet, it's a shame this Open Space fashion for the cutting areas on the ground floor. (Certainly this is the case in all living rooms). It would be nice to have cutting areas that were a little more discreet, away from view from the entire living room and from the entire street through the windows. But in terms of services it's always at the top so don't misunderstand this criticism which I hope is constructive. Yours truly.

Creative atmosphere, welcoming and competent staff. Cutting and grooming becomes a break from our hectic pace. Don’t forget to be served a revitalizing drink or a vegetable milk latte by the very friendly lady who will pamper you like a mother.

This place literally saved me! I had horrible yellow locks, messed up by a disastrous hairdresser. I then came here to Bal des Créateurs and Shannon did an excellent job giving me a much more natural color while leaving the effect of blonde highlights (but extremely natural and well done!). I can only recommend, impeccable treatment.

I highly recommend!!! I've been there twice and I wasn't disappointed when I left. The hairdressers listen and give good advice. In short, they are very professional and qualified. The price may seem expensive but the quality is there. Little extra for the head massage when shampooing which is just wow.

A big disappointment when I came to do blonde highlights and ended up with a copper color. To get back to my previous color, I now have to go back every 6 weeks to do a gloss for 200.-! “Professionals” don’t do that.

Good fit for my 10 year old son. There was a defect on my son's cut that persisted. So I called the hairdresser back who suggested I come back to the salon to correct the defect. So very good sales service and do everything to satisfy the customer. Thieves! A service initially for 180 francs booked on the site cost me 400 francs, because during the appointment the hairdresser kindly advised me to add conditioner, then oil, then such and such another product, to the point of blowing up my bill without warning me that it was going to be so expensive! I won't go there again and I really felt ripped off.

I recommend this hair salon, first time I’m happy for the work done and people are friendly, efficient and the price is maybe a little bit more expensive than other places but it’s definitely fitting with the quality

An adorable hairdresser but a coloring that I would probably have missed at home with a 10-ball Coop product. Red highlights - which I didn't want - on top, blonde highlights where you can see the brush strokes, a gloss supposed to make up for the disaster that lasted 3 shampoos, in short, a color that makes you want to cut your hair. very short hair.

Incredibly disappointing. Service is good and they speak English but that’s the only positive point in my opinion. Went in for a simple coloring to cover up grey hair. My colorist was Daria - a young girl, clearly with no experience. I explained exactly what I wanted and what she should pay attention to. The results: my hair is completely dry, I have 2 different tones of color, and a lot of grey hair remained. Blow dry was probably the worst I’ve ever had. I expressed my disappointment but instead of offering to fix it she gave me a bunch of excuses and knocked 10 chf off the price. I will not be returning.

Arriving with hair that required a lot of work, Sophie was incredible both in her work and in her care. The result was less than my expectations (blonde). I also left with lots of good and humble advice. All my expectations were taken into account. I will definitely come back with Sophie.

Took time off work and drove all the way over just to be told what I wanted wouldn’t work and I needed to do something else which they didn’t have time to do. Good hairdressers in this price range will usually call to confirm before and some have even asked me to send photos. It seems like this place just want as many clients as possible to make as much money as they can, but don’t care at all about you or your experience. I had to leave and didn’t even get a sorry.

I loved my entier experience. Starting form a smooth booking online to meeting my hair staylist. Darya was friendly and professional. She discussed with me what she will do and even gave me some tips for hair care. Followed by a hair wash with a relaxing massage for my skull. I am so happy with my hair cut and diffently I will go there again. It is a pit pricy but it deserves especially you don't cut your hair every month. Love it and recommend it

Good morning I did full head highlights in this salon, and Laura did a superb job!!!!!! Attentive and professional, I have nothing to complain about. I liked the rest much less, I took the haircut transformation service but I only had a simplistic refresh of my haircut. No cutting suggestions, not really taking the time to advise me. The service is announced to last 1h30, but in 30 minutes it was completed. Very disappointed with the reviews which are rather very positive. I am following up on my first comment as I cannot respond otherwise. Following my first mixed opinion, after several attempts by both parties, I was able to discuss my dissatisfaction with the hairdresser. There was indeed a misunderstanding. I would like to thank the management and the hairdresser for their professionalism following this misunderstanding.

A big thank you to Guillaume from Toulouse! I must say that finding a good hairdresser today is difficult, now with Guillaume and his professionalism I will go back with my eyes closed!! First experience at the Bal des Créateurs. Friendly welcome. Very happy with my scan with Sylviane, who was attentive and very friendly. BUT, there is a big BUT! An employee was walking around the hair salon without a mask! He sat in a seat less than 5 feet from me! When I dared to make a remark, this gentleman was impertinent. I am scandalized that the COVID rules are not respected! Especially since no one is unaware that the health situation is deteriorating! A neighboring country reconfines its population and closes businesses that are not essential.

A big thank you to Johan who listened and did a sublime job. I felt beautiful when I left there. I had a great time. Great welcome, great salon, I highly recommend.

First time going to the designer ball. I didn't really know what to do. I came to do highlights with Laura and a cut with Mila who gave me excellent ideas. I have never been so happy leaving the hairdresser! Very friendly and professional staff! Good atmosphere in the living room. Being a mother of two children and not being able to do otherwise, I took them with me, the staff was very understanding and always had them seated well even if I changed places 🥰 The only downside is the price, but you pay for the quality of service! I will come back !

A long-time customer of the Designers' Ball, I was very disappointed to never get a response to my calls and messages, although I was twice told that they would "get back to me" - over a period of two months . On the phone, I was only made to understand that the departure of the person who usually took care of me is a disturbing subject, although my only request was that someone else be recommended to me. I have since found a cheaper, quieter salon that I am more happy with. If taking care of a haircut is a good thing, taking care of your customers is much more essential, which in my opinion makes this evaluation fair and measured in that it reflects the degree to which I recommend this establishment.

Le Bal des Créateurs is always my go to place when I’m back in Geneva. Excellent service and great location.

Unfortunate mistake of not checking the hair stylist work prior to beginning here. I was recommended to Le Bal des Createurs by a friend, and although I do not live in Geneva, I decided to give them a shot. My first appointment the hair stylist was upfront in not being able to do balayage, however gave me a great hair cut and comp'd the blowdry. I then returned a month and a half later to get the colour done by an expert recommended by the salon. To give context, I had been doing balayage for 10 years in Australia, my hair is extremely easy to lift, health and smooth and usually took no longer then 3 hours to do. After a year of COVID, my hair had returned back natural and was in a virgin state. I spend almost 5 hours in the chair, and after the foils were washed out, it was different kinds of light blonde underneath and brassy/yellow colours everywhere else. Realising there was way to much bleach and not enough attention to colour itself, I booked for another day to return and fix it. After sitting with this colour for a few days and speaking to my previous hair stylist in Australia, I realised that my hair was beyond colour repair and op'd to cancel my appointment via email explaining the problem with no response from the salon. I have now found a new senior colour expert I am confident in and closer to home and said with my damage, it will now take the remainder of the year to repair and will have to spend up to 1,000CHF to fix. Although this salon might aesthetically look beautiful, there seems to be an issue from the top that is presenting within it's team, and rather then the hair stylist trying to perform colours they cannot just for the status quo, they need to be up front from the start. My recommendation, check the hair stylish IG for previous work, and only then if you feel comfortable, book an appointment.
