👌 At the top! For years. Excellent value for money, a lovely boss. This is a place to simply eat authentic Eritrean cuisine 😋

Absolutely delicious food. We came here for lunch. It was the first time for my kids eating Eritrean food and we cleaned the plate. The food comes ‘home cooked’ and hot straight from the kitchen. The decor is simple but there is a family owned feel. Definitely coming back.

First time experience with eritrean food and it was a nice dinner. The food is fresh and very tasty. You can choose between chicken or lamb or beef meat amd you can have vegetarian too. The owner is a very kind and welcoming person. We had a very good time for a family dinner. Prices are very good for Geneva. We will go back to try some more and make more photos 😉🤩

Excellent welcome!!! The dishes are home cooked and very good. The prices are particularly attractive, it is very rare in Geneva, and the quality is there. Excellent simple and authentic restaurant as we like them! The mixed pancakes (chicken, beef and lamb) are always just as good. The staff took great care of us, from start to finish. We went there on Saturday March 5, 2022, as part of a triple anniversary. Even without warning them and at the last moment, we asked them to prepare us some chocolate cakes with candles to serve as cakes. They played the game and the owner was super responsive. Great atmosphere that evening! Thank you Mosaic!

Delicious, great value for money, super friendly owner

The menu is very short and the whole operation seems to be an elderly Eritrean couple. The lady cooking comes out to great the people and ask for their experience of the food. The portions of main courses were sizeable, the starter said three people min (has a 5ppl version too), but it was fine for two in fact (we came hungry). The food quality was quite nice, the injera had a nice thickness to it, the sauces were on point and the dessert we got was amazing. Not a place of fancy atmosphere, setting is simple, service is simple and from the heart. Don't expect English. You'll get by on pointing at things and gesturing. Worthwhile place to visit, for the big special Eritrean plate to share you have to call a day in advance.

Resto très sympa. Le service était très attentionné. Les portions étaient tiptop.

Très deçu. J'ai commandé 4 plats à l'emporter à l'agneau.. arrivé à la maison c'était la surprise il y avait que deux accompagnements pour 4 personnes, la salade et les épinards étaient immangeables.. le yaourt seule chose de frais dans la boite.. il y avait plus d'huile que de viande dans les plats, on a eu l'impression de manger une soupe :( C'est la dernière fois qu'on commande dans ce restaurant..

Ne vous fiez pas aux apparences. Extérieur comme intérieur ne payent pas de mines mais la nourriture est très bonne, le serveur/patron est très serviable, sympa et drôle. A la fin du repas on est repu. 19.- est un prix tout a fait correct pour un plat sur Geneve. Allez on enlève la télé de la salle , un petit coup de rafraissisant et vous ferez un carton !

Nous sommes arrivés à 17h50 soit 10 minutes avant l'ouverture du restaurant. A 18h, le restaurant étant toujours fermé j'appelle pour m'assurer qu'il va ouvrir, on me répond qu'il ouvre bien à 18h. A 18h15, après avoir attendu 25 minutes au froid nous sommes finalement allé manger ailleurs.

This restaurant is very centrally located, close to Cornavin Station. It is a family run business and you feel the warmth in this unpretentious restaurant. I always have the big Ethiopian 'platter' which you should share and eat with your hands. I have tried the lamb, chicken and vegetarian options. Delicious and fun.

I have been the first customer of the evening. The restaurant was empty, therefore not much confusion or distraction but they managed to bring me something different than what I ordered. The waiter/owner proposed to take back the plate and take off a few toppings instead of making a new one. On top of that, the cost of 0.5L of water is ridiculous: 5.50chf.

It’s good. Simple. Fast. And cheap. I give it a 3 because they don’t accept credit cards. It’s cash only.

Interesting restaurant; no cutlery, no individual plates, simply share one big plate! The platter is layed out with crepes on which is placed the meat stew (lamb, beef or chicken) or the vegetarian option (which i haven't had). Both lamb and beef meats are good and the process is rather fun, provided all involved are comfortable sharing a plate. The owner/ waiter/ cook is the only one present at all times: one man show - so grab his attention if you want to be served! CASH ONLY!!

J’ai fait plusieurs restaurant erythréen/ethyopien sur Geneve et le Mozaique est de loin le meilleur. L’agneau en provenance de Nouvelle Zelande est DELICIEUX! Je conseille vivement, la nourriture erythréen est une belle découverte pour moi.
