Not a lot of choice for food but the place is lovely!

A great brunch experience at La Villa Castellane! The buffet was generously stocked with original and delicious flavors. The charming and trendy ambiance adds to the appeal of the place. The warm welcome really made our visit enjoyable. Recommended for a unique brunch experience in Neuchâtel! Parking takes place along the road, not always space. Otherwise you can use the large car parks at Faubourg du Lac or the Parking du Port not far away. In summer you have a magnificent terrace in front of the period building.

I had a great time with my friend Ste in the magnificent Café Villa Castellane in Neuchâtel. This establishment is located in the heart of Neuchâtel in a characterful mansion dating from 1816

We ate at Café Villa Castellane one weekday lunch and we were welcomed very warmly by the waitress. We took the options available as a lunch menu: As a starter, breaded fish; very fine. Fairly small portion. To follow, rice noodles, minced meat and coconut milk as well as saffron risotto with oyster mushrooms. To conclude, a vanilla mousse with rum prunes; delicate, sweet and delicious! The setting is warm and elegant and the waitress was really very pleasant.

During our Brunch, the staff went to great lengths. The buffet was good, there may be a hygiene problem, no protection on the food. For the rest, management, prices and organization of places...? We'll see how long this will work...?

I celebrated my birthday in an exceptional setting! The staff was excellent and very helpful. The aperitif dinner was excellent and I had only positive feedback from my guests. The atmosphere was great! Thank you for this great organization. I recommend the Villa without hesitation!

I went there last Saturday at 12:30 p.m. for brunch. Very pretty frame! Buffet ok but too bad there was nothing hot. The service on the other hand was catastrophic. The waitress only asked half of the people at the table what drinks we wanted to order, then came back to ask again what we wanted (the people who had already ordered)... Also not nice , no smile, etc... The buffet has never been renewed even though (if I'm not mistaken) people can stay until 4 p.m. I won't go back there again

Never seen such a rude and unfriendly waitress in my life! Not to mention the brunch is just lousy for 32chf! There are much better places not far away.

Very good brunch, beautiful location and superb and very helpful staff. They even have gluten-free options (you have to call in advance) including a delicious chocolate muffin! And lactose-free options too, with oat milk for example. We've been there twice already and we'll happily go back again :-)!

I went on their terrace, it's a nice place with a sofa or armchair with a cushion. Quiet and pleasant place.

Idyllic place for brunch in this beautiful weather. Lots of varieties and homemade dishes that you can't find elsewhere. The price is really good for this quality: 32.- (excluding drinks). The garden is really calming and we have a pleasant time there.

A magnificent setting in the heart of Neuchâtel, Café Villa Castellane is a guarantee of convivial moments around delicious dishes. The kindness of the waiters/waitresses, the quality of the dishes, the tranquility of the place - all the ingredients come together to have a wonderful time. Whether for lunch, Thursday afterwork, brunch or just a coffee, I can only recommend this place which is one of my top places in Neuchatel.

Carpaccio dipped in vinegar, very little parmesan and, this, for 32fr....not good. Avoid, except drinking water in the garden.

Nice place but also a nice scam when you order a cocktail for 12.-and you receive 4/5 of the glass filled with crushed ice cubes with a vague taste of lemon and 2 mint leaves.

Delicious Saturday morning brunch in an idyllic setting. The choice of food and drinks is varied (also vegetarian) and we felt at home there. The service was top notch and attentive. The staff was available, smiling and attentive. Thank you for this precious moment.

Saturday brunch. We went to brunch last Saturday as a family. Superb experience in a very beautiful garden. Very varied and refined buffet. The waitress was friendly and smiling. We will come back.

Positive point: for the little food offered, good quality and good taste. Negative point: table not ready even though we have a reservation, underwater service, empty buffet and dishes arriving in dribs and drabs, little choice, a lot of waiting and price infinitely too high for the service. Attention 32.- for the buffet without drinks. I advise against it and will not return even if the setting is magnificent. (FYI, restaurant not suitable for people with reduced mobility)

I am very sad to give this rating in relation to the Saturday Brunch but I wanted to remain objective. Since the creation of this café, I have come to brunch here because I found it extraordinary in terms of quality, choice and service. Currently, the quality of the food presented is still top notch but this Brunch has dropped significantly in quality in other aspects. There is little choice and especially little in terms of quantity. The buffet is empty most of the time, the quantities offered are small and the buffet is rarely renewed. The waiter forgets our drink orders and we have to fight for his attention. In short, it's not pleasant to have to fight for something to drink and race for a very poor buffet. I leave frustrated and hungry. Damage

It is a very characteristic place. Very special for drinking tea when autumn arrives. Don’t hesitate to visit the toilet area, you can discover magnificent works of art 😄

Magnificent place, calm, relaxing and perfect service

Too expensive for what it is, honestly I'm disappointed, left out we were. From service to plate we didn't see the beef! I wasn't expecting anything but I'm still disappointed.

The place is magnificent, unfortunately we will come back for sympathy. We ask for a Sinalco for a child and we are told “We don’t have that, that’s all we don’t like here! » without offering us anything else... thank you next time for preferring to say "Unfortunately we don't have any, we do however have delicious homemade syrups or a gummed Henniez...".

Probably the nicest café in the whole city. Extremely stylishly furnished and very friendly staff. Tip: Sit outside in the garden and enjoy the sun with a view of the house. You only notice the XXL wooden duck in the garden late, but it is a real eye-catcher.

The Villa Castellane café is already a magnificent place, whether it is the tastefully decorated historic building or the gardens, it is the ideal place to take a little break. Brunch is particularly worth coming to (remember to make a reservation), it’s also super nice to come for an aperitif or in the afternoon. In addition to the setting, the team is super friendly and their menu is well thought out and original! In short, a café I always return to with pleasure.

the terrace in summer was superb, the young friendly waitresses. Come This morning to start the weekend with the family to celebrate an event for my little boy with a coffee croissant, poorly received because there were 4 coffees in progress. the children's juice was placed without being served, we paid for the consumption... we were not thanked in addition to having had the feeling of not being of good standing for your establishment while outside we We have always appreciated the places. The cappuccino is more aesthetic than cappuccino which is ultimately a latte but it is not the most distressing. Bye

The place is magnificent, perfect for having a good time, whether for an aperitif, lunch or just a cappuccino, everything is always at the top! Our server Yann, who always has a smile, knows his wines like the back of his hand, he always finds what suits you! The cuisine is excellent, we feel and see that there are only good products! We are fans!

Today around 4:00 p.m. I waited at a table with 5 people for over 20 minutes while the bartender allowed us inside. No order taken even though the staff came close more than 3 times, plus I am extremely surprised to see that the service chooses the customers to serve - we left Too bad

Don’t go there! 2 Spritz, 1 apero with cheese: 46 CHF. A friend of mine got a tee for 7 CHF! This place is in Neuchatel, not Porto Cervo or St.Moritz. No more.
