The servers were very nice but adding one more would improve service

The drinks tasted gorgious but where a little expensive. The bar staff where friendly and spoke good English.

Modern decor with lots of Sicilian elements. Bright colors with plants around it give a cozy, elegant and warm look. The bar and restaurant area is very well appointed. We had a pizza, pesto pasta with fried burrata for starter. The price was a little excessive for the antipasto but it was original and nicely presented. The staff very friendly, smiling and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant and the service was exceptional. One of our party had a food allergy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure nothing was contaminated. Would highly recommend.

Meal for 5 people at midday… 45 minutes for 2 pizzas and three tartares… a beef tartare that the kitchen does not season at the customer's request.. oven fries not exceptional.. a Buffalo pizza with tomato sauce cold and 5 unfortunate pieces of mozzarella placed on top... for a pizzeria that claims to be of quality.. it's a shame... small remark made to the manager who preferred to plead the number of customers in the restaurant than to admit that they made a mistake... 45 for a bad pizza, a coke and an espresso… Thanks for the trip!!! Small positive note despite everything, the waiter was very nice and courteous... Courage to him... because if the manager manages the way he takes care of the customers... it must not be easy...ABE...

I met my nephew here just for a few beers and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff were particularly helpful with my very bad French! I’m happy to recommend.

The Calia is a good restaurant, well decorated, which offers generous portions and very good value for money for Geneva. The pizzas are good and the pastas are plentiful. Yes, filtered water is outrageously expensive, this practice known in Geneva restaurants annoys everyone, but it is a standard that you have to get used to. We are not going to throw stones at them. However, I expected in such an establishment that there would be a wall-mounted changing table in the toilets for changing babies who are, it must be admitted, welcome (there are several baby chairs available). Having to change your child on the floor is not worthy of the standing of the place. There are very inexpensive changing table models that can already be financed with less than 20 carafes of water sold. And there is room ;) thanks in advance

Warm setting, welcoming service and the pizzas are excellent!!

The place is nice and pizzas taste good, But: - they served two pizzas five minutes after the other two, which meant that by the time we started to eat the first ones were not hot - around our table (indoors) there were a lot of fruit flies going around and we were forever waiving to make them go away. We asked what could be done about it - nothing, but they reported it to the manager. Perhaps they have some old fruit or open bins in the back. It was annoying. We left the place with mixed feeling - perhaps it’s best as a cocktail bar in the summer.

The vongole pasta was not bad and the service was very good, however they don't want us to pay in cash, I find that really disappointing because everyone loses.

We reserved Monday for lunch. The waiter who welcomed us made us feel like we were in Italy with his Roman accent. We ate an excellent carbonara (recommended for the real bacon) and an excellent parmigiana (homemade). We stayed very well. A beautiful discovery. We will be back soon!

The place is very pretty, their Instagram page is enviable. That’s what attracted us in the first place. In the end, food ok but nothing exceptional. Ridiculous portions of lasagna and tartare. Bland pannacota and tiramisu. The frozen pasta was good. Nothing catastrophic, but this place will not remain in our memories and we will not come back. Value for money blah blah... expensive for what it is.

First time for me and wow what service and how good it was. The waiter Alessandro was so kind, helpful and professional, even with my 8 month old baby, he made us feel at ease and the pizza: killer! Bravooo

Very nice setting for this Italian restaurant. Quality products, well presented dishes, very friendly staff. A downside, however, for the length of the service: arriving at 12:05 p.m. and quickly ordered, we were not served until 12:55 p.m., too long for a lunch break. It seems that pizzas leave the kitchens much faster than other dishes. We will come back but rather in the evening.

We came for lunch. We had to wait a lot before being served. Hopefully there was our waitress (from Rome he told) who apologized very kindly and professionally for the kitchen delay. Globally a nice experience, we'll be back

At Calia, the setting is warm and friendly, the service is impeccable and the cuisine is very delicious. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Great night. Magnificent arancini starter, delicious pizza, quality dessert - a 10/10 for me The waiter didn't speak French perfectly but we had no problem understanding each other. Carafe water is free and no angry looks when you ask for one! Thanks Calia - very good address!

Like all public establishments which have decided to ban cash, this restaurant should be avoided until a legislative change prohibits this practice. Forcing customers to pay using a method that is not anonymous is an aberration. In addition, banning cash means excluding people whose bank account is zero or who are unbanked.

A Burger costs more than 30.- and when I ask for a carafe of water, I am told… we do not have a carafe of water only filtered water with or without Gas, chargeable 😡. 1. It is an obligation to offer water 2. Tap water is just as good as water imported from xxx 3. Just say that it is filtered to sell it. 4. When the Burger costs 32.- I think I am entitled to have a free glass of water!!!! Even though I ate very well, I don't appreciate these ways of taking the customer for a pigeon.

I went there with my mother, we settled in. The waiter walked around our table without ever taking our order. So we let him know after 10 minutes. He tells us he doesn't speak French except that what I don't understand is that he then took the order for 3 other tables (quickly) in French. We were neither seated at a table nor offered a menu even though the 3 other tables after us had all that. I don't know what it was hiding. Racism? Who knows.

Restaurant with pretty decoration and above all quality products. Thanks to the cook and his work which is not helped by a service limited to the strict minimum. You have to call the waiters who forget hot sauce, water, cream, or even the bill. Preferring to chat with each other 😅. We could have not paid, each of the 4 servers, for 7 or 8 customers, saying goodbye and thank you without bringing us the bill. Amazing🤣 The price is a little above Geneva prices.

It’s such a nicely decorated place , you just want to stay there ! However, per 3 pizzas we took, each was bland, even one meant to be ‘spicy’ (id suggest using nduja). We were quite surprised. Desserts were better but marginally - cannoli, cheese cake. Maybe other dishes are better. The waiters were nice but sometimes they missed us needing help.

Good attention from the waiters, especially from Emanuelle, who treated us very kindly. It is well located and the prices are high by our standards in Spain, but reasonable for Geneva... It continues to impress me that tap water, even if it is filtered, etc., is charged at 3.5 euros for a half-liter bottle, but that's the way it is whether you like it or not.

Very good restaurant! Great on all levels, the food was very good, the restaurant is very pretty, the waiter very friendly and above all they were accommodating. We didn't know that payment was only made by credit card so we only had cash on us but despite that they let us have dinner with them and arranged for us to pay in cash. We will return to this restaurant which is a great discovery!

Uncooked pizza and canned sauce put on it… the pompom is that they only take the card for payment, And when I asked to pay in cash, the manager informed me that if they took the cash to help out but did not give change… absurd!!! Definitely don't recommend! 2- My opinion on your answer is that you are not honest, you do not give change on a 200 chf note for an addition of 82 chf is this normal??? Maybe you didn't like our origin! You treated us like nothing! You haven't been polite... and you know it! Super traditional and delicious Sicilian food!

We enjoyed the food very much and the ambience was also convincing. Unfortunately, the service wasn't really well organized, so I first received the wrong pizza, and the same thing happened at the next table with other dishes. All in all, the prices are a little too high.

I tried this Sicilian place that also makes very good Neapolitan pizza. Even the products used on the pizza seemed to be of high quality. I have eaten much worse pizzas in Italy, this one definitely deserves 5⭐ as it is excellent even by Italian standards. The staff were friendly, helpful and also nice. The tartares and the wine were also appreciated by the diners. Not being used to prices in Geneva, I can't express an opinion, but between pizza, water, beer/wine and just a couple of desserts and some bitters we spent 45 francs each. I would stay here again

I really like this restaurant. The pastas are delicious as are the pizzas. I love the atmosphere. I find the decoration very soft with a good harmony of colors making you feel good. Afterwards the prices are a little excessive but the quality is there.

Noon, still water, sparkling water..? Still water please. Result: 7 francs for 2. “Filtered” tap water. Apparently it’s posted somewhere. Portion of rikiki gnocci without parmesan. Personally, in a city like Geneva with the Jet d'eau as its symbol, charging for water makes me tired. In short, not fun and expensive. I don't think I'll go through that again. Sorry, maybe I'm having a bad day.

Arriving for lunch on the terrace first, the other tables having been served, we were the last to be served among the new arrivals, and still 2 pizzas out of 3. The drinks were served elsewhere before arriving and when at 1 p.m. I went to claim the 3rd pizza they make me understand that I'm telling stories and that we were the last. Basically, we had 3 servers who didn't communicate. Commercial gesture received in the form of a dessert. Otherwise the pizzas were good.

We came on a Sunday as a family. the decor is very nice, the service correct. but the pizzas are really not worth it, they have very few toppings, and not exceptional... poor value for money. Frankly, there are much better places in Geneva. Damage.

During the weekend in Geneva, we stopped at this restaurant which seemed nice. We ask for 2 classic 30cl taps on the terrace to start...very nice glasses but only 20cl, behind us, a regular, with a standard tap (30cl and an average glass). We want to pay for the drinks before lunch, but the waiters are very busy with their phones, we have to disturb them….! Then the bill: 12€, the 2 drafts of 20cl, not great either! People point out the price, they rebuff us, if we can't afford it, we just have to go elsewhere! In addition, on the terrace the ashtrays are overflowing! Go on, there are plenty of great places in Geneva, don't waste your time or money in this restaurant.
