Very courteous, dog-friendly service and a true dream for carnivores. Located directly on the Aare, it is also perfect for a leisurely walk.

There were 28 of us with the baptismal family Guests in the Tippi tent for lunch. We had Nüdslersalat and then Fondue Chinoise, the food as well as the service were excellent. We will always be happy to come back. Many thanks to the whole team

We celebrated a birthday with the family there. There were 12 of us in total and we ordered a salad and a main course. The order was taken and about 10 minutes later the service came and informed us that the Nüsslersalat had run out. On a Sunday lunchtime at 12:30 p.m. The other salads were quite okay. The main course came relatively quickly. We all ordered french fries. Without exception, these were soggy and not seasoned. But the schnitzel and fish crispy were good. Unfortunately for us the performance was not justified for the price.

The food and service were excellent. The great thing is that warm food is offered all the time. This is a top performance and we were able to order delicious food from the full program at 4 p.m.

Very good restaurant in a great location, right on the beautiful, picturesque Aare. Nice large terrace, the interior of the restaurant is also very well maintained and cozy. Great diverse menu. Lots of super delicious dishes. Friendly courteous staff.

Staff friendly. But: Dirty table in the restaurant. Coffee thin. The thin fries were fried far too tightly, with only small, hard pieces left on the bottom of the plate, not edible. 1 small scoop of ice cream 5.50!!! Never again.

A very cozy place with a terrace over the water.

A restaurant where a visit can only be recommended. Even in winter, the terrace on the Aare is easy to use and the service is courteous. The view of the river is always beautiful.

Pretty rest. directly on the Aare. It's wonderful on the terrace, especially in summer. From the rest there is a great hiking trail along the Aare.

Once again for years Visit Campagna to eat wild. We received a very friendly welcome. Great menu, suitable atmosphere, cozy and clean. Nando is super friendly and always present everywhere, but not intrusively(!). Always with a smile on your face - enjoy the job and the guest is king! Such service is rare. Thanks to the whole team 🙏👏🏻 keep it up! The food came quickly and was very, very tasty! Lovingly prepared, large portions. Price/performance good. We will be back

I'm extremely surprised when I read all the bad reviews over the last few months, because I can't confirm any of it. Very good, fresh food, nut salad with great sauce, perch fillets, you can see that the beer batter was homemade, generous portion (I'm a trained cook, I know what I'm talking about) very nicely decorated restaurant, the kitchen doesn't seem to have any secrets that you can tell can watch the chefs cooking from certain places. Extremely nice and courteous service, even cleared the snow from our car because we had forgotten to take the broom with us. (Thank you very much - again, we got home safely) I will certainly come back and can fully recommend the restaurant.

Been there several times and the atmosphere is pleasant. In the end we were unfortunately greeted very rudely in the smoker. He only knew standard German and gossiped about my colleague in Albanian to a regular customer. But the other service workers were very friendly.

The service so far has been friendly and mostly prompt despite the large number of guests. The food is not a culinary highlight, but it is acceptable for a small snack after a hike on the Aare.

Without words, the ambience in a light western style, terrace directly on the Aare. Great cuisine and the service was nice and friendly. I can only recommend. Price-performance completely ok.

I was shown to a seat very quickly and was served quickly. The restaurant is located on the Aare, which is what defines the atmosphere. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. It is definitely worth a visit to the Campagna. I will gladly come again!

We sat there for about half an hour without being served, even though the waitress said three times. Then we left again.

It's a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and in a wonderful location, but the service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The staff is UNORGANIZED but also all RUDE. So for the sake of good humor I don't recommend this place.

Super nicely located. The vermicelle was good. The operation leaves a lot to be desired. Very slow, although moderately busy and there were enough waitresses. Please pay. Yes, I'd love to, walked past xx times and looked at us, I thought it was cheeky. She only came when we got up. It's a shame, I'm not going there anymore. Don't know what happened there. It used to be great.

We had soups for starters which were amazing. As main course, trout fillet is nicly done with all grilled veggies. Rissoto and beef tartat are not bad, but we've had better. Place was full on the terrace and sun was high up, but they still didn't want to put shades down for guests.

Friendly service, but 50 minutes until the daily menu (lukewarm) arrives is too long for a lunch break. Terrace was maybe 60% occupied.

The food was good, but there was a mess with the orders, for example. We got the wrong salad and the tables next to us who came later got their food earlier.

The salad plate we received was far too small for 12.- and carelessly prepared. Some of the salad wasn't fresh, and the salad dressing wasn't homemade either. The staff was unfriendly and responded to our complaint with incomprehension. The dishes that we saw from other guests were also carelessly prepared and not particularly lavish for the price. In any case, despite the beautiful location, we won't go there again.

Although I was mostly satisfied in the Campagna restaurant, I have to say a clear PFUI for last night. The food was really bad. 1. The food was not as ordered. 2. Schnitzel from the freezer and didn't taste good at all. 3. Salad was sloppy and unappetizing. 4. Everything looked visually horrible. 5. Mayo is stale in color and taste. There were two of us and we both had the same dish. Since we were very hungry, we ate some of it. Afterwards we both felt a bit sick. The day after... Severe diarrhea and the hope that all of it will soon be out of the body. For us, the Campagna is a place we will avoid for a long time.

My sister is disabled and therefore uses the wheelchair toilet! Unfortunately it was busy and she had to wait! After a while she knocked on the door! Then the door finally opened and an employee of the rest came out very angry and insulted us in the worst way! He was at the toilet. Unfortunately, he forgot to refill toilet paper during the counter! That was too much when I had to ask for toilet paper! Thank God we had help from the very nice service employee, otherwise I think the employee would have freaked out!! Service great, location very nice!

View and food ok. Unfortunately, service was a flop. Friendly but excessive waiting times. It took about 10 minutes until we were greeted and shown to the table. We waited 40 minutes for our food and another 20 minutes passed until we received the dessert menu. Too bad about the situation.

Despite the terrace not being fully occupied, we had to wait a long time until we could place our order and then again until our water was finally served. More time passed so I asked for our food order. (Other guests after us were already eating) The salad was good. What we can't say about the fish crispy. They were in the deep fryer for far too long. The beer batter was still liquid inside. You would have thought that the mayonaise was baked right away. And this after 90 minutes of waiting. When I asked the waitress about it, she barely responded. After all, she also has two ears. One in and one out... The Campagna used to be a good restaurant in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, it is no longer recommended today.

We were guests yesterday (August 21st, 2023) for dinner in the evening. I asked the serviceman for a "not cold" water. He said his salary was too high to just give it away. And it would take far too long to adjust. I said: I would pay for the tap water too. He gave me the answer: it wouldn't work. Only if you order a glass of wine or coffee would you also get water. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I work in service myself... but I've never experienced anything like this. Simply cheeky to the power of 10. (I don't want to be waited on by him anymore) . . .the food was really good 🦋

Apart from the location directly on the Aare, the restaurant is not recommended. My drink was not chilled, the fish crispies were bland and soggy, and the salad was also mediocre because it was literally bathed in salad dressing. In addition, the service staff is very stressed (which I understand on a sunny Sunday), but also unfriendly and abrupt, which is a no-go! The mood in the team also seems bad and, as I have observed, younger employees are treated badly by the older ones. Will avoid the restaurant in the future.

A pure disappointment, the family ordered food and pizza today and then burnt cardboard came to the table, burnt, bland, lifeless and loveless. One pizza was burnt on one side and half raw on the other. Our waiter was great, but the waitress at the next table held the beer mugs under her nose because she no longer knew which beer was which Panache, and served the mugs to the guests after the sniff test. The location doesn't make up for the food, never again.

The last time I was in Campagna was many years ago. Today we visited again after a walk. There are a lot of outdoor spaces, on such sunny days the Aare is quite busy and there were a lot of people. The expectations were correspondingly low. But we were pleasantly surprised. The extremely friendly and talkative waiter was quickly there and always had everything under control. Food and drinks were quickly at the table. The food was top notch. The “beer” was just a Feldschlösschen. Well, nobody is perfect. But at this temperature I didn't care this time. So see you another time...

At this size it seems like mass processing. The restaurant actually didn't deserve that.

The service was at a high level, we got a table at Aare, on a Saturday, even though we didn't make a reservation. We received the food quickly, everything was fresh and large portions (the steak was properly done, the cordon bleu was also good - the cheese was leaking). I think the price is adequate to the quality. Desserts at very good prices, large and nicely presented. Strong, good coffee.

The restaurant is located directly on the Aare. The staff friendly. I just didn't like my meatballs with eggplant, tomato sauce and pasta. The meatballs were hard and had a lot of gristle and not enough seasoning. I pointed this out to the waiter, he apologized and offered me another dessert. The cook just said that sometimes there is gristle in minced meat. I definitely won't eat here anymore...

The restaurant is beautifully located on the Aare and is a perfect place for a day trip. Unfortunately, the operators no longer put much effort into the food. Fish crispy frozen food (bought ready) the fries poor quality. Cordonbleu more filling than meat. We paid 80.00 per person - price performance absolutely 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I recommend this restaurant for the place and an ice cream or a Z'vieriplättli but NOT for a hearty lunch.

It was very pleasant despite the hot temperatures because we had a table right on the Aare. We were served very friendly and quickly. Unfortunately we didn't eat, but we had an ice cream and it was all made with soft ice cream, which was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was also good. All in all, top top

This was our 2nd attempt at Campagna Terrace and again we were not served even after an effective wait of 4 or 5 minutes.

No more free choice of seats. A pity. And the ice creams, all made from soft ice cream, are not for everyone either.

We only went for an ice cream on Monday evening. The waiter clearly pointed to a table that we should occupy and there would have been other empty tables that were more beautifully located on the Aaare. But it wasn't actually that bad. But then another waitress came to take our order and the other waiter insulted her in front of us. And since we didn't have the best view, we looked directly into the service entrance and everyone there was arguing or gossiping with each other and as a guest this was a little unpleasant. However, everything was correct when ordering and the ice cream also tasted good, so you can't go wrong. From that point of view, you are welcome to go there, it would be nice if you didn't notice the arguments among the staff.
