CAMPING JAUNPASS AG in Boltigen

We spent our first winter holidays camping and are very satisfied!! Very nice, well-positioned and motivated campsite manager, friendly staff and camping guests. Clean facility and good bread roll service! Snacks, drinks... everything there what you need! Quiet and yet right next to the ski lift. Next year we hope for more snow 😉💪🏻... And of course we're looking forward to spring, summer and autumn☺️🤩😍... We'd love to come back!!

Nothing on the campsite is as it once was, starting with the fact that the groundskeeper doesn't speak German. (we are here in the Bernese Oberland, German-speaking Switzerland)! The selection in the store has become small and very expensive, no wonder that nothing is sold there anymore! I bought something there today and it wasn't very good friendly, 3 people behind the sales counter, I was greeted by just one person - not friendly or accommodating, didn't really feel welcome, rather annoying... It's a shame about the campsite, there are also very few visitors there for the sports holidays.. Word gets around very quickly! Of course there isn't much snow, but that happened in other years too and the place was full...

Great location and convenient accommodation with everything you need. Comfortable rooms and campers close to the ski slopes and with direct access to the roads and nearby towns. Great location for skiing, hiking and camping.

This was a great pet friendly place!!! The facilities were pretty nice and clean with appropriate prices. The manager was very kind and friendly. The view from the trails was spectacular, a perfect place to enjoy the fresh air and nature.

You feel like a troublemaker among the permanent campers. The reception was cool and space is limited. Not a campsite in that sense, more of a parking space with electricity and clean sanitary facilities. Not recommended for casual campers.

Disappointing experience despite beautiful location I have been visiting the campsite on the Jaunpass for over 10 years and have thought for a long time whether I should write a review. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately my experience this year has greatly influenced my opinion of the course. On the one hand, the tenant has changed for the third time this year. This led to an atmosphere that I found to be very unfriendly and incompetent. It appears that word of these issues has spread as the site was only half full during peak season. The toilet facilities are outdated, but at least clean. Nevertheless, it is disappointing to see the lack of modern facilities. I hope the situation improves as I have many fond memories of this place. But unfortunately I can't recommend the campsite at the moment.

Service by driver. Top. Unique location with lots of nice summer trails. We have had 12 days in much of Europe now. This is the winner when it comes to landscapes. Clean and well maintained. ok shop You can cycle on lots of nice and challenging slopes. Remember good brakes and give way to the cars.

The Camping Jaunpass is definitely worth recommending! Looks good and the service is good too!

Unfortunately, for well-known reasons, there is only a very limited offering in the bistro and shop, where we have been spoiled by you for the last few years. It's a shame she's leaving. Good luck with your new challenge. Something else about the infrastructure: We have now known the campsite on the Jaunpass for over 20 years and unfortunately, apart from a small facelift, the sanitary facilities still look the same. Something should be done there.

We have been to Camping Jaunpass several times with the family. Simple but very well maintained campsite with everything you need for life. Everything very clean and well-kept. It's a shame that Stifu and Barbara are leaving this campsite, they both lived for the campsite and were always there when there were problems. Shout out to Burt Reynolds

I stayed at Camping Jaun for one night with my camping van. I received a very friendly welcome when I checked in and the camping warden Stefan showed and explained everything relevant to me. Afterwards he accompanied me briefly to the parking space. This was great and I had a nice view of the Bäderhorn. The campsite was very clean and well maintained. At Abned I had a great view of the Gastlosen with the sunset. The next day, a short walk to the Bäderhorn rounded off my short trip. With a stop at the Bäderalp for a Rivella and 1kG Alpine cheese. The camouflage is def. Highly recommended and everything was perfect. I'll definitely come back again.

Great campsite at 1500 m in the middle of alpine pastures. Musical background with cowbells - great. Super helpful and nice operators. Rolls/bread service. Sanitary facilities very clean. Pure idyll. Superb venue and area, mostly off the beaten track.

Caravan base, the campsite has a few pitches for nomads (tents and motorhomes). Impeccable facilities for a starting point for multiple hikes.

Very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly owners and a small but very clean double room with a mountain view. Beautiful mountain panorama and the typical cowbells...breakfast available on site and inexpensive. Real recommendation!

Absolutely perfect campsite, ultra-clean sanitary facilities, very practical infrastructure (small store, camper's room in case of bad weather, grill area, playground, hotplates, fridge, etc.) all in a very wild setting. And the owners are very kind and welcoming. Thank you, we will come back!

Wonderfully beautiful campsite at 1500 m above sea level. The hosts Barbara and Stephan as well as the temporary staff are always friendly and accommodating. The sanitary facilities are old but always spotlessly cleaned. The mountain farmers and camping guests are in the pub, and you immediately start talking to the farmers. The camping shop has everything you need. Ideal starting point for hikes. It wasn't the first time there, and it won't be the last time either. Price and performance top! "GOOD MORNING"

Great campsite! Exceptional and friendly welcome. We stayed 3 days and were able to take some lovely walks. The Gastlosen are quickly visible when walking from the campsite. Everything is very clean and harmoniously maintained. We will come back, thank you for your welcome and simplicity!

Very friendly service from Stephan, even with the short-term telephone reservation: This is how our short vacation experience began. The campsite at around 1500 meters above sea level. has everything you need, such as heated washrooms with showers and plenty of warm water, washing machine and dryer (tumbler), disposal station for gray water and chemicals. Toilet, power connections with 10A fuse, a small shop with freshly available bread as well as a barbecue area (located in the new building) and the associated house including free firewood. Everything was very clean and functional. We really liked it and we will definitely come back: the price/performance ratio was extremely suitable for us... simply great. Many thanks to the very friendly and accommodating host for this great camping experience. P.S: For all hungry mouths big and small, there is the tastiest pizza far and wide (only on Wednesday evenings) and other delicious ones on the Ritzli-Alp, 25 minutes from the campsite in the direction of Jaun/Charmey, about 5 km from the main road Delicacies. Reservation required (the restaurant was full when we visited). Access not suitable for large vehicles including long campers).

It starts with the arrival. The welcome and helpfulness of the people from Hanmer. You can really get everything you need in the store. If it's not there, you even try to get it if possible. The medical station is clean, as is where to wash off the dishes. If you just want to walk and experience nature. I recommend it to everyone. We will be back

Beautifully located campsite directly on the relatively unknown Jaun Pass. We actually only wanted to stop for a short time, but due to the fantastic location we decided to stay overnight after only a short hesitation. From the campsite you can go hiking with fantastic views. The paths to the Hunsrück (nearest peak) are even suitable for families, as the paths lead over the gentle mountain ridges to exposed areas. The campsite operators gave us an extremely friendly welcome and the sanitary facilities made an absolutely well-kept impression. The pass is a real insider tip. Great, we will come back!

True, in the summer of 2018, in one of my colleagues' caravans. And it was truly wonderful ☀️, and going hiking was great. We were there again last week and this time it was winter and we stayed in a room. Skiing was fun ⛷ but it was also very cold ☃️❄. I'm looking forward to going back 😅 Lg

Great campsite! We were just there over the weekend with our motorhome for 2 nights (2 adults + 2 kids) to go skiing. Really great and ideally located as the place is right on/next to the slopes! Excellent! Really great location! The place has everything you need, the facility is clean and the operators are very nice and uncomplicated! We will be back definitely!

Since 2015 with a new owner who puts a lot of effort into it. The information on the phone was very friendly and the owners are very uncomplicated. The place offers a beautiful mountain panorama. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and very clean. The prices are also not excessive. With a small shop, a cozy lounge and well-functioning internet near the reception. Some also have internet on site (via mobile phone provider). Absolute recommendation! New owner since 2015 who spent a lot of effort to make you feel comfortable. Super clean shower and toilets and working internet close to the reception. Also offered is a nice comfortable room for those who want to spend some hours outside of their tent/campervan. Absolutely recommended!
