We spent our first winter holidays camping and are very satisfied!! Very nice, well-positioned and motivated campsite manager, friendly staff and camping guests. Clean facility and good bread roll service! Snacks, drinks... everything there what you need! Quiet and yet right next to the ski lift. Next year we hope for more snow 😉💪🏻... And of course we're looking forward to spring, summer and autumn☺️🤩😍... We'd love to come back!!

Fine pizza, cold beer, excellent espresso and a homely atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered a retro pizza with tomato slices, like the ones my mother used to have at home, and my wife ordered the fine and spicy Pizza Padrone: FINE! Desserts: great!!! Beautiful, new kitchen. Wir haben unser traditionelles Familien-Weekend über Auffahrt im Teamhaus in Boltigen verbracht. Am Samstag bestellten wir unser Abendessen im Restaurant Simmental. Wir durften zwischen Rahmschnitzel/Nudeln oder Schnitzel/Pommes wählen. Dazu gab es einen feinen Salat. Wir konnten die entsprechenden (Wärme-)Kisten pünktlich abholen. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Das Wirte-Ehepaar war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ausgezeichnet.Wir kommen zwar aus verschiedenen Gegenden der Schweiz, würden aber das Restaurant / Hotel Simmental jederzeit wieder besuchen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.Vielen Dank für den Service und das köstliche, aber auch preisgünstige Essen.

02/13/2024 - 1:00 p.m.: Enter the restaurant. Nobody says hello - 1:04 p.m.: The next table is supplied with 2 beers. Then things are folded. We are ignored. - 1:06 p.m.: Leave the restaurant again, no one says anything.

Was there with the motorbike a few weeks ago. Very nice restaurant and service.

A smile and a little kindness would be enough to make this restaurant more than pleasant!

Always very beautiful as well as the outside. Good drinks selection. Unfortunately, the service we received wasn't particularly friendly. I thought the food was okay.

The service was so terrible it was funny! There were many things we could tell about (4 of us left without meals for 10 minutes while other 6 ate, the gluten free meal that cam with pasta instead of fries), but the funniest (strangest) was when it came time to order the dessert. The owner/waiter grudgingly allowed us to order either a dessert or coffee becasue it was late. For dessert only thing available was ice cream , and we all at the table had to order the same flavour! One of our party didn't hear the instruction and started to order his flavour of ice cream plus a coffee and the man shouted and ranted just like Basil Fawlty! Funny but totally ridiculous way to run a restaurant.We heard from the man who runs the accommodation at the hotel that they will leave in June....perhaps to a retirement home run by Sybille Fawlty or Manuel!
