Casa Nostra Ristorante in Genève

Had dinner on March 17,2024. By far the best dinner I have ever had. We were in town and staying just down the street. As we walked by we decided to give it a try. We are so happy we did . Food, staff, and beverages were outstanding! I hope to get the opportunity to dine there again sometime.

Good Italian restaurant, I ate there a few days ago. Good homemade desserts and the meal was plentiful and very good. The waiter was very friendly, he made us have a pleasant time and he introduced us to specialty spirits with and without alcohol. I will return and recommend.

Very good food, the pizza was too spicy for my taste, but that is very subjective. The pasta was delicious and just right. The buffala mozzarella also had very good flavor. The staff was more than attentive and the place is nice, it has tables inside and some on the street. The only thing that surprised me is that they brought us a starter without asking for it and then charged us €7… and we only tried a little because we didn't like what it was.

We were here in September 2023. This was the best gnocchi I have ever had. The service was very good as well. It's a nice family owned restaurant that is very good. Our waitress brought us a shot of lemon cello when we were done. If I were to ever make it back to Geneva I would definitely go back.

The pizzas were fabulous! We were a group of 4 and tried 3 different ones, all were really good. The service was a bit strange - kind of standoffish and it felt like they forgot about our table for awhile after clearing our dinner plates. We wanted to have a digestif but just opted to get the bills because they left us alone so long even after we asked to see the dessert menu. Would go back because I think the pizza was worth it, even with the uneven service.

Amazing service. Food was unreal delicious, just like Italy. Best pizza in Geneva. Free appetizers were unreal, drinks were authentic and food was unbelievable. Highly recommended.

I found the food very mediocre, the quality is not up to par. Parmigiana with little eggplant, tasteless tomato sauce, lots of tasteless cheese melted inside, plus cheese gratinated on top. I gave it two stars because the dessert was good (caramel side). Bravissimo to the waiters who pretend to be Italian, it has the merit of being funny.

The server was super nice and very accommodating of vegan needs. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the small limoncello offered at the end were very appreciated. THANKS!

The best Italian restaurant, a family atmosphere with very professional and friendly waiters, the dishes are always of good quality I am never disappointed (it's rare). A restaurant that makes us want to go back, it feels like home, I recommend it with my eyes closed.

The food and service were outstanding, and the owner and staff were very welcoming!! We tried some authentic Sicilian wine and food and loved everything we ordered. I highly recommend the Cassata Sicilienne for dessert and the Nero D’Avola wine with any of the delicious pastas. We will definitely dine here again on our next trip to Geneva!

Had a nice experience for our dinner meal. The spaghetti and eggplant dishes were very good. The friendly waiter brought extra ice and rolls that we requested. The chili condiment was red hot….a bit hot for me but I appreciated the homemade effort. I would recommend it.

Hi, to be fair, I'll not compare it with other countries. I was traveling from Zurich & Baden, where I had a very good experience with Italian food restaurants, I almost tried everything and appreciated all of them. So when I went to Geneva, I definitely looked for an Italian restaurant to take dinner 🍽 and I found this restaurant well rated! But frankly, it was the worst seafood pizza I ever had 🥵 it was abnormally big, very thin, very poor of ingredients, and burned. Also the service was very bad,cold, slow and if you don't ask the waiter they don't give you anything. Definitely, I'll never return back there.

Very nice Italian dishes (I had gnocchi Gorgonzola) with good wines to pair. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Good choice on the main street in Geneva, just down from the train station. Recommended

We went to the restaurant based on good reviews on Monday the 22nd of May 2023 in the evening. We requested one type of pasta with shrimps and another plate of perche fish with French fries. The service was very slow and finally after more than 45 minutes I got pasta with ham which I don’t eat. When I told them of the mistake and need to cancel the order they said no we will arrange it and in five minutes I got it with extremely small shrimps tasting like plastic. The other plate was really bad that my husband stayed up most of the night with very tummy ache then vomiting and diarrhea. I have never been to a restaurant that was supposedly respectable and eaten worse food or has been disregarded enough to be offered different orders or very bad tasting food.

I visited Casa Nostra during lunch service. Language barrier aside, the food I had here was by far the best Italian I've had outside of Italy. We had a pizza and a pasta and both were freshly prepared and tasted absolutely divine 🤤👌🏻 We were also offered a home made chilli paste which was delicious, but it did leave my lips on fire for the next several hours 🥵 Despite the slightly slow service on a lunch service with only a handful of tables, the quality and taste of the food certainly made up for it. I'd highly recommend Casa Nostra for an authentic Italian experience 🇮🇹🍝🍕

The owner was super friendly and we came to the restaurant just for him. What we loved was that there were so many vegetarian options. Only the food was a little bland with less salt but that was an easy to fix problem. Their chili paste was AMAZING!

Last week I went to this restaurant Where I was very well received, served in the best Italian tradition, I enjoyed a real Italian Pizza while being in a warm atmosphere 👍 I thought I was in Italy. A big thank you 🥰👍👍👍

I often go to this restaurant and each time the service and food is just fantastic, the staff is professional and super welcoming, the food is delicious and the best pizza in Geneva. The restaurant is run by a family who have been in the restaurant business for over 40 years. Well done to them for continuing to do this difficult job and it remains open in the afternoon too. I really recommend this address to everyone.

The worst pasta I’ve ever eaten in my life!!!! I would give minus 1 star if I can!!

2 people serving, the young man friendly and professional, the young woman doesn't even say "good evening" and attacks with "what do you want" without a smile, it immediately sets the mood. Waiting time a little long and yet we had cold starters and pizzas and the restaurant was not full. For the pizzas, it's average, yet when they arrive it makes you want but when you taste them they are dry, the topping is not very generous (the parma is made up of large squares of ham, we are far from the nice slices famous Italian ham) and for my part I found them a little bland. This restaurant is not really very interesting

Good Italian restaurant with quality food, nothing to complain about, more than adequate

I stopped there to quickly eat a pizza, I chose the menu for 21frs, pizza of your choice, salad and dessert. The pizza was very good, no worries, the waiters a little too sure of themselves, not really attentive, more in the demonstration... I ate half the pizza, the waiter didn't even tell me not offered to leave with the rest. As for dessert, I wasn't allowed to choose, I was given a kind of sweet cream mixed with fruit, which I hate. It's a shame, it doesn't make me want to go back...

Came here when the restaurant in the hotel was unexpectedly closed, and SO glad we did. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful and the pasta was so good that I’m literally angry I can’t find a gnocchi pesto near me that’s even 1/2 as good. C’est fantastique!!

First time in Geneva we stopped by Casa Nostra for lunch and had to come back for dinner during our stay ! The food was very good and fresh ! The owner Amzi was so kind and helpful ! Overall an excellent choice while in Geneva ! Thankyou !

The starters like the dishes are a delight, I advise you to go and savor its delights which lozenge in the mouth as a treat as the diston says in a restaurant worthy of the name casa nostra I guarantee it and I challenge you to go with your eyes closed at the meeting itself 💯👌👌👌👌
