Order placed via the site for the Christmas meal: 2 logs, different breads and 1 marzipan plate. The St Genis store is very beautiful, I usually book at the Thoiry store but it was closed on Monday December 25. The welcome by young women is rather simple for a renowned pastry shop, but let's move on. My order was not prepared and the bread I had ordered was missing as well as the marzipan plate.... I left with my logs and my replacement bread loaded in my arms while the customer before had been entitled to a bag from them. Fortunately the quality of their pastry is there. It's still a shame.

I bought 2 cakes for a birthday and they are as beautiful as they are delicious. A raspberry millefeuille which everyone liked as well as a chocolate cake. I tasted their croissants, super crispy! I recommend, too bad I don't live nearby!

Pastries that don't live up to their appearance, it's pretty but it lacks taste, texture and love! My last experience with a pastry flan (grainy, mediocre taste level, and a texture that has nothing to do with a pastry flan) was a huge disappointment. Even the great classics are transformed into bad, overpriced and pretentious pastries!

Service time too long Unwelcoming

The quality has declined since the last time I came, last year. Nothing was good. I am a cook and pastry chef. The bread was hard, it looked like industrial bread, it was distressing. The cakes, no interest, I had a Paris-Brest, the praline cream had no taste. My wife is on a diet and thought it was a shame to swallow sugar and not even enjoy it. I strongly advise against it.

The pastry is fabulous! If you are visiting Genève, make a quick stop across the border, in France and try it. I have been in France multiple times, but I never tasted such pastry products.

What can I say about my last visit to this pastry shop in Saint Genis... As much as the quality of the products no longer needs to be improved and their cakes are excellent, everything related to orders or specific requests is a real disaster! We had ordered a "desire for red fruits" tart for 4 people, with a personalized birthday plaque, and what was our surprise when we collected our order to receive a "desire for STRAWBERRY" tart. The saleswoman, who must surely be new, was not very commercial. Indeed, apart from telling us that in 4 slices there were only strawberry tarts otherwise we had to take a 6 slice or call the Thoiry shop (which ultimately didn't have any either), she didn't It wasn't much help... Finally we were asked to come back around 12 p.m. (it was around 10:30 a.m.) and at that time they would have a pie according to our order. Either, we come back at 12 p.m., having asked for a gesture because it is not the first time that this kind of problem with an order has happened to us, and there our order is waiting for us but no gesture because Mr. Broccard would refuse to take action in order to keep your customers, according to another very friendly, outgoing and caring saleswoman... Message well received, he lost customers and it's a real shame...

I chose the "Karamel" cake for my birthday and it was exceptional. It was unanimous among my guests. Very good balance between the ingredients, not too sweet, then the texture of the crunchy hazelnut and salted butter caramel really adds a big plus to this cake. Little curiosity: I organized a little tasting of sweets with colleagues to choose which cake I was going to have. The Karamel won over the Terre de Cacao (the slightly acidic notes of the chocolate did not please everyone) and over the Genève-Lausanne (too sweet for some).

Very disappointed by the log of December 31st! We were sold and announced a peanut and chocolate snickers style log... which looked very good... we ended up with a very bitter caramel, orange and puffed rice log as hard as a dog , really disappointed with a log for 40 euros where the saleswoman really doesn't know anything about it..I wouldn't come back, it's not the first time we've been disappointed..too bad

I was a loyal customer until they decided to close on Sundays. I was happy that Sundays were open again BUT BUT BUT... on December 31st I was hoping to find a small individual portion cake there but there were only large cakes! AND this Wednesday, January 3, oh surprise... there were individual portion cakes with an end-of-year theme but which looked like the sliced ​​sandwiches sold in gas stations... very ugly and unappetizing! I went there to buy a "cocoa land" king cake (at 22€!)... but... a huge disappointment, the cake having been frozen, with a tasteless "stuffing", which crumbled to dust at the cut...it ended up in the trash! I don't think I'll go back... it's a shame because it was a reference for me... "before"!!!

BROCARD Master chocolatier who sells chocolate pieces for more than €35.-- for Christmas and you don't have time to go home that it is already broken and when you write to tell them they answer you that we had to be careful (sic!!) not even with adequate packaging. Ashamed. Not a commercial gesture, nothing. Do not get fooled. A word to the wise!

We always get our bread, pastries and cakes from Brocard and we are always happy! This time we ordered a selection of cakes and wedding cakes (puffs and macaroons) for 80 people. Being new to the region, I discovered your pastry shop a month ago. During my first visit I was served by the store manager, a very pleasant, polite, smiling young woman. I loved it and wanted to come back. So I came back this morning to get some pastries which are delicious. I was served by a blonde lady and the enthusiasm I had the first time quickly faded, she kept making a face, she answered me badly and looked down on me... It wasn't really not pleasant...I was very disappointed. I won't come back when this lady is here. Good day
