CASCADA Boutique Hotel in Luzern

Horrible experience, poor attention from a reception staff member when calling and upon arrival. All our belongings were stolen from the car parked at the hotel's parking lot. There's no insurance, the hotel doesn't take responsibility. They did send back some items they found, but it's concerning to know they don't have theft insurance, they don't care about guest safety, and they refuse to take responsibility. We even had to pay for the parking where we were robbed, 40CHF, unbelievable!

The Cascada Hotel is the pearl in the “Auster Lucerne”. The reception is extremely helpful, makes almost everything possible and responds very quickly. The rooms are modern and very thoughtfully furnished. Lots of attention to detail. Great bathroom with high quality toiletries. We also highly recommend - make a reservation - a visit to the attached restaurant Bolero. Chef Alex Tognazzi serves creative/modern Spanish cuisine at the highest level. The wine list is fantastic. 5 stars isn't actually enough.

The CASCADA Boutique Hotel is centrally located. Many highlights can be reached on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well maintained. There is a hotel parking lot (some with charging stations for electric vehicles) and there are spaces in the parking garage opposite. The guest is offered a guest card (free travel by bus within Lucerne), attention in the room at reception, non-alcoholic drinks are offered free of charge in the minibar, and if daily room cleaning is not done (environmental!!) there is a drinks voucher. The extensive breakfast buffet is absolutely TOP and special requests can be ordered from the friendly staff. The free WiFi works perfectly throughout the entire house. The beds are a pleasant size and the mattresses are neither too soft nor too hard (for me). The bathroom is sufficient in size. Possibly an additional shelf would be great. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the house and will definitely book at the CASCADA Boutique Hotel again.

Overall hotel is functional, breakfast is varied, and rooms are clean and comfortable. Not in the center of Lucerne but close enough to walk to main attractions. Hotel has kind of an odd Spanish-waterfall theme. Cute how they included the waterfall-themed book in each room. Had very unpleasant discriminatory interaction with front desk staff that management brushed aside when emailed hence lower star review. Wouldn't stay again because of this but otherwise hotel is clean and comfortable enough that would recommend for travelers willing to take a gamble with rude front desk man. Management - I've already had a reply so don't leave one here - it's really not needed.

The hotel is beautiful, in a great location. The waterfall theme runs through the entire house. Great reception, really nice. The rooms are superbly equipped, including the single rooms. Mega atmosphere...the associated restaurant is a dream, top cuisine⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On m'a demandé de redescendre de ma chambre quelques minutes après être rentrer (du restaurant) pour signer la facture ... on fait ça dans un 4*?? on ne fait pas confiance au client qui paye plus de 300CHF la nuit? Franchement c'est pas très grave mais on attend pas ça d'un hôtel 4*. 1 étoile pour la vue sur la Pilatus depuis le petit balcon (4eme étage). + 1 étoile pour le sublime petit déjeuner gargantuesque L'hôtel est situé à environ 15 minutes à pied de la gare et très facile à trouver.

Those are just a few things that I personally find important to list in reviews as I always lose hours trying to find a place when we travel. More often than not I end up disappointed. This was not the case with The Cascada. Thanks for a wonderful experience, and we look forward to staying again.
