Just that when the restaurant is full'; food may take some time to come as they dont have a lot of staff.

On the other hand, the waiting time is a disaster: 1 hour of waiting, sometimes more, in restaurants (for a small table) and even if the order is taken away (with already 50 minutes of waiting), there is still waiting when arriving at the restaurant... This is the only VERY negative point of the restaurant

This is a hidden gem in Vevey! The restaurant is so authentic, from the decoration to service & food. The dishes are exactly like chinese one in mainland, hearty with generous amount. The owner is so lovely anf kind. This is by far the best Chinese place in the whole Switzerland. Please come and support this owner!

We ordered sichuan spicy chicken to share, portion is quite big. Taste is good, but expect long waiting time.

Located just 1min away from the Vevey train station. The food portion here is really huge. If you come in pair, 2 dishes are good enough & you might not be able to finish. If you’re used to spicy food, please request to increase spicy level. The food tasted abit too salty for me but maybe the food in Switzerland is generally salty 😅 If you’re used to China food, this is a very mild version but good enough to curb your craving. Be ready to wait very long which can take up to 30mins just for them to get your order and 1 hour to serve you dishes. The shop is really short handed but trying their very best. Overall, the food is ok.

I love here. Big portion with delicious foods and nice price. But recently it takes long time to get the foods. We are waiting 1 hour and only get the soup. I am not recommend someone is in hurry or order before you come. Or I request to hire more staff for smooth operations

The wait is terribly long... more than 45 minutes for 2 dishes and a starter. Afterwards, and as in the other Xu restaurants, it is very good and typical. The people at the service are friendly.

A couple good thing can be said about this place. The portion is generous. All of a sudden, the 20+ CHF didn't sound that bad. The menu looks pretty authentic. The flavor on some dishes are respectable. I dined with others, so I did not go too crazy on my selection. Service is pretty slow though. There was only one lady serving, taking order, and behind the cash register. Especially when it is crowded. We waited for 1.5 hours for our food.

Traditional Chinese restaurant. This restaurant is an offshoot of the Xu restaurants in Lausanne. Lots of flavors, vegetables seem fresh. The menu offers a lot of choice between steamed ravioli, fried dishes or even soups etc. There is something for everyone, even vegetarians. The prices are cheap given the quantity offered. No worries if you order too much like us, ask for a doggy bag 😁. Average price of a main course, around 20chf (18-25chf) Not quite 5 stars because the service was a little long. Without a doubt we will return to Xu restaurants.

We loved it, friendly time, good atmosphere, family service, customers come back like many young Chinese from schools in the region. Menu also in the evening with a nice choice of dishes and very good value for money, quality and quantity. Better to be hungry. Bravooo

I had made a reservation by phone before, but when I arrived at the store, I found that there was no reserved seat, so I had to share a table with others, and no apology was expressed. The best and authentic Chinese in Vevey. We found the restaurant on Google and it sounded like it would be tasty, and the reviews don't do it justice. The food is incredibly yummy...but be warned they serve huge portions...and it's so tempting! They always ask if you want to take some away in a box... and we couldn't refuse. The restaurant is busy but you are served quickly by very polite staff (I think they are all family). Don't be put off by the decor, a throw-back to the 70s but it's clean and comfy. A genuine treat. You know it's the right place when you realise most of the other dinners are Chinese.

They have real non-Europeanized Chinese food, the food is incredibly good and super cheap you can get a daily menu for 2 people for 16.- because the dishes are strong. Take away because otherwise you have to wait ~45 minutes at the table before being served, so visit Vevey quietly and come back when it's ready

Kind staff, excellent value for money and good food, however the waiting times on weekends are absurd. An hour and a quarter to have the first starter and another 35 minutes for the dishes. When importing, we waited 30 minutes even though we had ordered for a specific time.
