Everything leaked everywhere during delivery and the delivery man HAD NOTHING TO DO IN IT. we should stop putting a huge quantity in ONE plastic bag!!!

Through a menu that is sometimes a little messy, the dishes are truly succulent. Simple and in sufficient quantities, especially since the price is very reasonable for the region. The decor is a little kitsch but the owner's good humor warms any heart chilled by the cold. This charming restaurant has everything to please even if a few small refreshments inside or on the terrace would be welcome.

Very nice little discovery, good Vietnamese cuisine with traditional and typical dishes but in European fashion. Welcome always at the top of the owner.. hearty dishes and fast service.

I came without a reservation for lunch and a lot of tables were occupied and a lot of people had taken the daily menu but we were able to sit at a table near the window. The dishes chosen from the daily menu were much appreciated by us as well as the welcome and the service. We will definitely come back.

This place serves the best Pho soup. I always go there and only order that. The size is big and the price is reasonable. The people working there are so kind and Thoa herself is such a wonderful lady and even chatted it with us for a bit. Kind and heartwarming service. They sell comfort food in a comfort setting and I love it. Definitely recommend this place ! 🤗

An excellent last minute find, my partner and I had an excellent meal, with top notch service despite us coming in 15 minutes before they were set to close. Excellent address with a terrace in Clarens. The menu is not too long and offers Vietnamese specialties that are difficult to find in other restaurants. I have eaten there several times and always satisfied with the dishes tasted. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm but with the good humor of the owner and her employees. This is a very good thing to bring a little variety to the local restaurant offering.

A real Vietnamese restaurant. I went there several times because I wanted to discover the various dishes offered. Their Pad Thai is delicious and undoubtedly among the best you can taste in the region. But not only ! They offer a choice of dishes, most of which are really out of the traditional basics that you find in any Asian restaurant. A discovery for my taste curiosity as far as I was concerned. Vegetarian and vegan dishes available. Very nice (family) atmosphere and good service.

There were 16 of us celebrating my sister's birthday and we had a wonderful evening at Thoa! We received a very warm welcome from all the staff, the dishes are made to order, which guarantees flavor and freshness! Knowing that my sister was celebrating her birthday, the boss even gave her a nice surprise! Thank you!!! A VERY nice discovery, this restaurant to which we will return, for sure!

Let me start off by saying that this is not a critique of the food but of the service!! We waited a long time before we were brought menus, then we ordered and the starters came 30 mins later and then we had to wait another 30 mins for our mains!! The waitress mixed up my order 2 times trying to serve me shrimps or chicken as a vegetarian!! And then our main courses as a table of three weren’t at all served at the same time !! The pad thai was authentic and very good but I wouldn’t come back because of the very poor service and waiting time!!! They need to hire more chefs or minimize the amount of orders they’re willing to take at once.

A decent and expensive restaurant which serves pseudo-Vietnamese food under the pretext that the Swiss would not come there if the dishes were authentic (It was the owner herself who told us this after having raised the fact that it was not didn't taste Vietnamese)

For foreigner: please be aware that prices are in line with the standard of living in Switzerland. For trail runners: please be aware that food portions are normal, so maybe not enough if you just ran in the mountains. We really enjoy the quality of the cuisine!!

Very smiling and pleasant staff who make you want to come back. The owner really takes care of her customers and makes them feel comfortable. Coming with an empty stomach is strongly recommended because the portions are tough. I recommend you try the frozen thoa summer drink because it is delicious!

A great place to enjoy real Vietnamese cuisine... I tried the pho soup with meat, vegetables and onion, really delicious... The prices are regular, I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

The starters (coated shrimp and steamed ravioli) were excellent as were the main courses (shrimp pad thai and red shrimp curry). Toppings could, however, be part of certain menus in view of prices. The service is pleasant, but nothing more. I recommend.

While passing through Montreux we ate at Chez Thoa and we were delighted. The dishes were excellent and quality. Pho soup, Banh Khot, Ban Bao and Cha ca: incredible. My boyfriend, being a connoisseur of Vietnamese dishes, emphasizes the typical character of the dishes. The service is perfect. Welcoming, smiling and very friendly. Take care with us. Filthy Pad Thai, doesn't make you want to try anything else, first and last time, avoid!

Picked up various starters (summer rolls, tom ka gai) and entrees. Food was solid but not exceptional. Flavors were a bit rounded off and dish prices were pretty steep for the amount of food. Pho was served in a tray with a snap lid instead of a soup cup with a lid, which was also odd. Summer rolls were filled with lettuce (as well as bean sprouts and rice noodles), which seemed more filler than taste. A nice wide variety of dishes for any palate.

The pork brioche is sold for 8 francs on Smood, and when I went to pick it up at the restaurant I paid 9 francs each for it, too bad, I thought I was doing the right thing by avoiding the platform to order. I took several so the amount quickly adds up. I was fooled, I will no longer order over the phone. However, they are very good, shame about the incorrect pricing.
