Miyazaki in Lac Léman (VD)

Kids friendly atmosphere. Selections of food are quite good. Coming from Singapore where all the good Michelin Japanese restaurants made us hard to find even a good Sushi place in Switzerland. But when I found Miyazaki in 2021 I could feel at least relieved that they have what I can eat and they have what my son’s like. Fish are fresh, presentation is well, menu spreads are quite good and they have variety of Sake too. Always go back to the same spot at least once a week. Thank you Miyazaki

We come there often. The cuisine is excellent and the presentations sumptuous. The only downside is a lack of choice for vegetarians, notably a really good tofu ramen for example (we came with a friend who was vegetarian and he liked it less than us) the rest is cool

We just placed an UBER order 2 minutes after closing (sorry about that!) the quality was great! Even the shrimp fritters in the sushi were hot! Thank you for still providing dishes of this quality until the end!

I really like the chicken fritter. Every time I come, I have to take advantage of it. Sushi rice is soft and delicious. I highly recommend the sushi here high quality and very fresh fish. The servers are very smiling and friendly.

Food was very delicious! The main course had a lot of sea food, which was a good surprise. Between the matcha and passion fruit dessert, we liked the passion fruit one more:) I‘d definitely come back!

Good restaurant. Service is completely unorganized during the rush hour and I had to shout to get served while our food was ready since 20min. Globally I really like to eat there but you need to go when there is nobody🤣

The map is well thought out and original. The quality of the rice is obvious; and that makes all the difference ;) Very friendly staff! The order is placed on a tablet: it’s fun and it highlights each proposal. A must do!

A treat, I never tire of coming to taste sushi platters at Miyazaki. They are so good. The price is a little high and it quickly becomes expensive when you want to please.

We had California and dragon rolls, salmon sushi, veggie noodles, and spring rolls. Everything was delicious, would come again for the same.

The food is authentic, the service is good, there is no view, but the location is comfortable, it is worth recommending

We had sushi noodles for dinner and it was spectacular. The waiter treated us superbly, with extreme friendliness. Highly recommended, well located in front of the promenade and with a quieter atmosphere than on the promenade.

Very good Japanese restaurant. Exotic decor. Top service: polite, smiling, discreet. The dishes were delicious. Interesting ordering system because we can see how our dishes will present themselves. We had a nice time On the other hand, we were expecting Japanese-style toilets (^-^)

I highly recommend this sushi place, the staff has changed since the last time, not all, there are more guys, the food is top notch, everything is very tasty, 4 types of sushi, 2 desserts, 1 beer, a little more than 80 francs, for Switzerland it is a good price!

In my opinion the best sushi in the region

Miyazaki is probably our preferred sushi place in the Lausanne-to-Montreux stretch. They're quite easy to book online and their boat/platter options are great. The sushi is really high quality and a nice mix of more intricate rolls and letting the fish shine. Your server brings you an ipad to order on with 'add to cart' (note you don't check out, you just give it back to them with everything selected. There's a mix of outdoor seating in one of those little 'hut' type structures on the street. Service is very friendly but a little forgetful/rushed, though that might be specific to super high season like Montreux Jazz.

Traveling in and out of Asia many years I found this place serving excellent Japanese food.Service is very professional and polite,congratulations. Will be back here definitely.

My girlfriend and I went to eat there. I ordered Fried Chicken, 6 Salmon Maki and Rice. My girlfriend had a wakame salad, 3 sushi, the tempura mix and a yuzu cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, as was the tempura and the Sushi was a treat. The presentation of the dishes is superb and the staff very welcoming, except for one waitress who looks down on customers. By saying what I wanted, I felt that she was very judgmental of what I ordered. I went back to eat recently... Unfortunately I was told that there is no fried chicken this evening (disappointing but not serious). On the other hand, I find that when asking for Makis, the least you can do is make soy sauce available. The rice had an unpleasant aftertaste this time and the chicken on the teriyaki skewers was very rubbery and with a lot of nerve...

Excellent sushi and nice, attentive service

Went here twice in a 4 day trip. Gyozas and sushis are amazing. Grab miso soup on the side - everything was great. The staff is lovely and they take care of you throughout. Recommend going here for a meal for authentic flavours.

Awesome place for Miyazaki fans and not only :) Very efficient system of ordering via tablets. The menu is great and the food is delicious. One thing that bothered us a bit was super long waiting time, it was really a bit too much. But definitely a place of high quality and tasty food.

The ramen is delicious and the sushi is good but the price is high. One person, one drink and one dish costs 160f. It’s in the central area, so it’s a bit more expensive.

The food was very delicious, the price-quality very good, presentation 10 points, it took a while to arrive but after that nothing bad to say!

What a welcome, what service, what quality. It was delicious, warm, the decor is great, the waiters and waitresses are elegantly dressed, the way the dishes are served is classy. everything is very fast, and despite everything they remain relaxed and pleasant. We asked if it was possible to have a little treat for a birthday and they were super supportive. In summary, a big 5 out of 5!!! Awesome.

Restaurant that I highly recommend, the dishes are all excellent and very tasty. However, we had a slight cardiac arrest when we were given the bill.

Spectacular restaurant. Superb service, delicious food, perfect location. Highly recommended to go as a couple or with children. Food at home (we brought food up to the hotel one night), fast and very well prepared.

Quiet place and nice decoration. Price adapted for location. I only regret that there is not more choice in terms of noodle dishes, when you are allergic to shrimp.

Lovely decoration and welcoming staff! The starters and hot dishes were really delicious, better than I could have eaten in the past in the Japanese cuisine category. On the other hand, dessert-wise I didn't find it up to par with the rest, a little disappointed but I think it's simply Japanese pastries in general which are not necessarily to my taste so for everything else I recommend! Plus we got free alcohol at the end ^^

Standard Japanese eatery. Sushi is high quality. Sashimi and tataki are also high quality. Nothing too special that would make me want to return.

We went there during the Christmas market, of course the restaurant was crowded, but a 1.5 hour wait is far too long. We received our starters 40 minutes after ordering and they arrived one after the other. The food is good and the service was friendly, but the organization needs to be reviewed. A little disappointed and quite expensive bill. I would recommend but outside the Christmas market.

Bottom line up front … this is the best sushi I’ve had since arriving in Europe nearly a year ago. And the most varied. I went the a la carte route and was pleased to find such offerings as hokkigai, or surf clam, not seen in any other sushi places I’ve visited here. Service was brisk and efficient, yet friendly. And, given the prime real estate Miyazaki occupies, the prices were quite reasonable. I’ll continue my search for top-of-the-line sushi spots, but Miyazaki is a place I’ll keep going back to.

Very uninspiring food. Miso soup was the only acceptable item. They also had some loud techno music playing for some strange reason.

Very nice place, fish cake, matcha dessert and dumplings are 10/10 recommended!! The waitress was really nice too ☺️ prices are a bit high, however I’d say the food was worth it.

The restaurant is Japanese and delicious in fact. It is characterized by the fact that it is open at lunch or dinner and does not close. Too bad, the cuisine has really declined in quality: example... the spring rolls (before small and well grilled served with salad, mint and sauce) now large soft roll, weird stuffing, almost cold without salad, without mint. A lot of things seem industrial when seen at Manor! In short, disappointed...Very pleasant waitress.

Fresh and delicious sushi, possibly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! So good that I went twice during a 10 day vacation.

The food is great. Perfect for casual sushi dining. All the servers are very kind, except one woman. From the minute we sat down, she had the worst attitude when me and my three friends were nothing but polite. I genuinely don't understand why she was so rude. We were served by her outside so we wanted to change to indoors to avoid her. We asked her if we could go inside and she said "theres no tables" very coldly. Then my friend said we were told by the other waiter that there was a table available. She said, "ok go check then." In the most impolite manner. She has a long black ponytail. Coming here is a great idea but avoid being served by her as it WILL ruin your experience. Many thanks to the male server who was very kind to us. Will be sure to come back because of your accommodating kind manners. 🙏🏻

Good tasty sushi, was empty at 230pm on a Saturday afternoon but glad we entered - good variety on the menu and all were decent quality. 4 sushi plates and the chicken skewers cost us about 80 CHF.

We went there for a birthday and we were all delighted from start to finish. The food was delicious, the service was very pleasant. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat Japanese food at acceptable prices or at a very high price for the wealthiest.

Sashimi was pretty good. Sushi was mediocre for the price compared to hype other reviewers gave. Staff was nice, however service was very slow.
