The best stir-fried green curry! This shop could make it more delicious than many restaurants in Thailand. They are using Jasmine rice as well. Cannot recommend enough. Canned mango juice is also very tasty. Staff are very nice & friendly.

The food here is very delicious. We had a two-choice plate, and both items were superb. This place is also a market selling a variety of Thai and other Southeast Asian items on the restaurant's lower level.

One of the best Thai takeaways in the city. Very good and reliable quality for years! 😋 An absolute hotspot at lunchtime, there is a long queue after 12:00. The team is extremely prompt and that's why things happen quite quickly. When rush hour is over, you can also eat there.

Thai restaurant near the main train station in Zurich. It is possible to eat on site or take away. There are four menus every day (including vegetarian options). If you decide to eat the food on site, you get it at the service counter - drinks from the refrigerator at the entrance (cutlery, etc. is all on the table). Payment is then made at the end at the exit. The food is good and tasty. In the basement there is also a Thai shop with all kinds of products - also Thai mangos. Price-performance ratio is okay. Staff super friendly. Good spot to grab something for lunch!

Satè Gai with peanut sauce is a dream. The restaurant is full to the brim at lunchtime. You can eat in or take away, I recommend take out. The employees are funny and nice. I always look forward to the dish. Depending on the situation, you can also order spicy things. Portions are large. Always worth a visit.

Best Chicken Saté in Zurich - check out the menu on Mondaymorning and go there for Chicken Saté. Not really nice to dine in but get a take-away - seriously amazing! Also the service, very efficient and always friendly and thankful for tips :)

I've never written a review for a restaurant before, but I just have to here. Today I got a green curry with vegetables to take away. The lady was very friendly and even gave me a larger bowl for 27 CHF. I'll be honest, but I still think it's way too much. The normal price would have been 37 CHF. For vegetables and sauce. But it's okay, I'm happy to pay something for good food, but that was (I couldn't eat it) the really worst curry I've ever had (and I've had a lot of curries) it tasted like an overcooked vegetable soup. The vegetables are totally “matchy”. I think things like that just don't work! I'm really shocked.

We came here at 5pm (2 hours before closing) and they said they don't have a la carte and not much items left. Made a special trip here for nothing.

Solid average. The taste of the food is okay. The large portion of take away at around 26.- but at the pain threshold. There is usually a lot of crowds around lunchtime (from 12 p.m.), so come earlier or plan to wait.

Very tasty buffet of the most popular dishes in Thai cuisine, the ambience is excellent and the Thai shop offers ingredients for local cuisine. The Stöberecken is heartily designed. We'd love to come back.

Best Thai take away in the city and also to eat in the restaurant. Been there 1000 times and always like to come back. I lived in Thailand for two years and have high expectations when it comes to the restaurants here. Chiang Mai Thai Shop is and remains one of my favorites. And especially because it is one of the few places that prepare excellent Khao Soi. Unfortunately only from 1:30 p.m. but it's worth paying attention to the timing of your visit. My only wish: longer opening hours, ideally on Sundays and a second location in Zurich ;) keep it up!!!

Typical Thai food, fresh ingredients, sufficient portions, the most authentic fast food restaurant among Thai restaurants in Zurich, chicken, beef, curry without adding a lot of vegetables, and very distinctive stir-fried vegetarian dishes, all made with experience Chef, this store has been open for more than 20 years and has very good control over the ingredients, flavors and dishes. This is unmatched by other takeaway restaurants. It has been a must-go place every time I come to Zurich for more than 20 years. Highly recommended!

We just arrived at Hbf, and after trying a few places that were closed, despite Google Maps saying there were open, we gave a try to this Thai shop/restaurant with not many expectations. However, the food was delicious and of great value. It's a simple buffet style where you pick 2 out of 5 options. There were vegetarian, fish, and three meat options that all tasted incredible. The place recreates a night market with street food and the service was very friendly and fun.

The food is awesome. Especially Sate Gai. The employees are super friendly and when you give a tip everyone shouts “Thank you” from the kitchen 😂👌🏻

You can really feel the team spirit of the employees here. It puts a smile on everyone's face. Also very fine Thai food at fair prices. Guests sit wherever they want at large, individual tables in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions and beautiful decor. The team is well-coordinated and you get your food very quickly despite the long queue at lunchtime. There is a small discount with your own Tupperware for take away. Upon request, it was confirmed to me that the vegetarian menu generally contains no animal products (vegan).

I was here yesterday on the recommendation of work colleagues to eat the satè gai with peanut sauce after work. And the food tasted delicious. Above all, the portions are large, even though the order says it is a small portion. a dream. You can eat in or take away. Because I was there in the evening, it was nice and quiet and you could eat here in peace. The employees are nice. They are also great in terms of price. Definitely recommended.

Chiang Mai is an institution and a phenomenon! From the cozy restaurant to the friendly staff to the incredibly good food, everything is just right here. Here you sit together at large tables: people in suits next to craftsmen, students next to pensioners and loners next to families. The hosts and all the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They manage to smile even when things are busy and are happy to take time for a quick chat. The food is a dream and offers a lot of variety with changing daily menus. Here are my three most important tips for eating in Chiang Mai: Spicy is spicy, the large portion is really big and despite the delicious curries, you should definitely try the Khao Soi noodle soup (also vegetarian if you wish)! Every time I visit, the team ensures that I leave full and happy and am already looking forward to the next visit. My favorite restaurant for years!

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant outside of Thailand. Friendliness: Top, as we know it in Thailand. Be surprised when you tip! 🤭 Food: So far I've never had anything that wasn't tasty and I've been there often and all my friends and colleagues were just as enthusiastic. Be careful with dragons before eating. It's really Thai spicy! There are lots of Asian drinks in the fridge, which is a plus for me because I immediately feel like I'm on holiday! Ambiance: After moving many years ago, you now have the opportunity to eat comfortably inside and outside. The furniture is extremely beautiful and unusual. There are a lot of people at lunchtime, but you can always find space at the large tables. If you want to do some shopping after your meal, there is a small shop in the basement. Khop Khun Kah, thank you for being here! Even though I always cook at home and live nearby, I still like to come and eat with you. ❤️

It was a good price for a big portion. I disliked it though. I had the Poulet and Vegetarian options with cucumber salad. What I was unhappy about was the sweetness of it. I love Thai food, but this isn't for me. The last time I was here I had the tom kha and that was good.

Chiang Mai Thai Shop is a little gem located close to HB and famous for their delicious and freshly made takeout offer. They offer daily menus (published on their webpage) for 16/ 19 CHF (takeout/ eat in) for a “small”portion of 1-2 meat/ veggie dishes & rice (see second picture). After 13:30 (or on pre-order, as it takes about 15’) they also have Thai soups such as Khao Soi (picture), a flavorful noodle soup originating from Chiang Mai (eat in price: 21 CHF). This soup was amazing and will definitely become a new regular order for lunch time 🇹🇭🍜There is nothing not to love about this authentic thai: fuss-free, quick, friendly and most of all delicious and fair priced! Possibly one of the best cheap eats & takeaways in town for me! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

As a vegetarian, this place is a no-go. The only vegetarian meal they have, is super oily and has no taste, actually it is just oil. But I mean if you like oil as a meal...

Absolutely delicious Thai food! I can't judge whether it's authentic because unfortunately I've never been to Thailand. But in any case, it doesn't taste at all like the boring, generic Thai food that you often get served in Switzerland. A little tip: put a little tip in the piggy when you pay and enjoy the warm reaction from the entire restaurant team :)

Super fine Thai food! That was really a taste experience and I “only” had the lunch buffet! In terms of spiciness, there is something for every taste and if you want, there are plenty of very fine pickled chillies to sharpen up. I'd love to come back soon.

You can put together the daily menu with different components. Food was very fine. Big tables. Even though other people are sitting at the same table, you can still talk to your companion in peace without anyone disturbing you. There is a small shop in the basement. Near the main train station. Parking spaces available in the area.

Welcoming friendly Thai staff so expect real Thai cuisine. If you want to try their Khao Soi, which I personally tried in Chiang Mai, come after 1:30pm. (It is only served in Northern Thailand or Myanmar). We ordered 1 rice and 1 viand from the choices in the tray. We were craving for just chicken and spicy food. I love eating spicy so happy that they have available sicy condiments per table. They check your EU Covid Pass when you dine in :) You pay when you exit and they give you candy for any after taste left in your tongue.

It is very good, there are several options to choose from, the basic dish has two stews and rice. I think the prices are according to the amount they serve you (a lot) and the service is very fast and friendly from the girls at the bar 🥰 highly recommended 🥰🥰🥰
