Fantastic meal here with my partner, delicious food and a brilliant atmosphere. Felt like eating a meal at a friends house, very enjoyable. We don’t speak Italian and the owner doesn’t speak English but don’t let that put you off. 100% will return!

I can say with certainty that this is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life (seafood pizza), and the Carbonara that my mother had was also great. The boss was friendly and warm, and gave us a very good experience. I can't wait to come back, and I will 100% recommend this gem of a restaurant to all my friends, and to all of you reading this review. However, make sure to make a reservation in advance to secure a table. If you find beauty in life's unadorned details, you will love La Corsa al Cilento. I've eaten pasta for nearly 54 years and cooked it for most of that time, and can say without hesitation that the truffle ravioli here are the best I've ever tasted: tender but structured, with a subtle variety of mushrooms complementing a generous portion of shaved truffle, in a gorgeous sauce that is somehow rich but not heavy. The restaurant's atmosphere is special, too: low-key, genuine, and timeless.

The ravioli I ordered here (Al presidente) was so good I cried, not even kidding. Everything was so fresh and tasted so good, I can't recommend this place enough. Seriously, one of my favorite meals I've ever eaten.

We had a great evening! First of all, a very warm welcome from the boss, a family atmosphere, no fuss and the cuisine, what can I say, fresh produce, Italian grandmother's recipes, a real treat! Go there with your eyes closed!

I had a capricciosa pizza, it was very good, the ingredients fresh and the service fast and efficient! The boss was very nice, the place was pretty and welcoming. I would happily go back with friends. Highly recommended.

Too bad, because the restaurant is nice, but bad timing from the owner who took our table as a reservation and at the same time he had a large table that had to be managed alone. So the wait was too long, the 4 cheese pizzas served with melted cheddar hamburger style. It would have been a good idea to offer us coffee or a small limoncello to help us get over the pill of waiting and service, not to mention the quality of the dishes.

As soon as you enter, the pleasant smells of the food greet you, making you immediately hungry. The restaurant is a bit dated, but it does have a certain charm. The owner is a friendly man, seems quite gruff, but is actually a nice guy. This restaurant is number 1 on Trustpilot and I understand why. The food was delicious. I had pasta puttanesca myself and have never eaten it so deliciously. If we had more time in Montreux, I would definitely have gone there a second time. The restaurant is located a short distance from the lake. Not too far away, but nice and away from the hustle and bustle.

As for the kitchen: nothing to complain about! The whole family had a great time. The products are tasty and fresh and the plates are well served. A little extra for chef Isen who comes to make sure everyone is satisfied. As for the dining room: we had a good laugh in addition to having a good meal! Mario is full of humor and attention; it also proved to be good advice for the next day's visits.

Great cuisine worthy of the Italian mama, simple casual place but top notch service, I love this place, I recommend it, I have been there 3 times.

FRIENDLY, ENERGETIC, HOMEMADE, FRESH, PASSION. The owner of this restaurant has service to art form. He treated us like we had been there for years, quick to make a joke and patient. The chef gave alot of passion in his food, it was packed full of flavour, classic, honest, perfect. Will be back.

Wonderful place for dinner! The host Mario is gregarious and welcoming. We didn't speak French or Italian but were able to communicate effectively and the atmosphere was of a family reunion with lots of locals. Highly recommended!

Best food i had in Montreux and probably one of the nicest food/mood combo i've had in switzerland. The owner is really friendly. Maybe too friendly for some ? If so you'll gladly find other place with a colder service. This place breath happiness and they work hard. The food was amazing and we had a really great time.

Chef Isen prepares delicious Cilento dishes that are well worth the wait. Mario is an absolute treasure of Montreux and his restaurant is practically a historical Swiss fixture all in it's self. This is a 2-man show so if you're in a rush, this place is not for you. Mario is a boisterous character who loves to engage with his customers and make them smile. He serves with the heart of family and delivers an experience that makes you feel at home even when you're halfway across the world. The House Lasagna and the Raviolis Presidente are fantastic but any dish here is excellent. Please try the tiramisu. My friend has had tiramisu from around the world and ranks Chef Isen's tiramisu amongst his top 3. La Corsa Al Cilento is easily one of my favourite places in the world and my favourite restaurant in Switzerland.

Fantastico!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ We were here 2 evenings in a row because the food and the outstanding host (un italiano vero ❤️) absolutely convinced us... As a starter we had antipasti, bruschetta, The main courses were the Ravioli del Presidente (you definitely have to try that!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), my partner had vegetarian pasta and on the second evening a vegetable lasagna (super delicious based on grandma's family recipe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ), for dessert there was tiramisu, panna cotta and chocolate cake with ice cream. We would love to come back, we cook and serve with love here! Merci beaucoup Mario & bon anniversaire😘😘

Their Ravioli Presidente and 4 Saison pizza are absolute gifts for your taste buds. The real sauce is the host, who will keep you entertained through out. Highly recommend booking a spot before arriving, we were almost turned away for the place being packed and kitchen being at capacity but our persistent paid off- totally worth waiting for the food! Highly recommend.

My wife & I made a reservation with out kids for Christmas Eve dinner while in Montreux for the holidays. Mario welcomed us made the dining experience incredibly warm & friendly. He joked with our kids, chatted with us, and allowed our daughter to pick some music while we were there. The food was absolutely delicious. High expectations, but rather simple restaurant, boring environment. Lasagna had good taste but a bit cold in the middle, wife's pasta only tasted of garlic. Well, the rating on Google and Tripadvisor is not entirely correct.

The best meal and experience we had in Switzerland and the best Italian food - even better than the food we tried in Italy. The owner Mario made us fall in love with the place instantly. He is the soul of that restaurant and makes you feel like you've never had a real restaurant experience before. Apart from the great atmosphere the food is just to die for - we liked it so much that we ate there two days in a row and we did not regret it. On both occasions the food tasted home made and simply delicious. The best meal I have had was Ravioli di Tartuffi recommended by Mario. Compliments to the chef who is clearly doing what he loves and makes the dining experience one of a kind. A few months have gone by and I still think about our time there! Definitely made us want to go back to Montreux. 10000% a must go.

If you pass through Montreux and want to eat Italian, take the detour. Restaurant located in the old town in the heights far from the restaurants attracting tourists from the lakeside. Real Italian cuisine (even in Italy I haven't eaten better), the dishes are extremely succulent and Mario the boss is a real phenomenon who knows how to create a very family atmosphere around the tables with his humor. In 3 days spent in Montreux I had dinner there twice with my wife. Thank you Mario and a big thank you also to the cook. If I go back through Montreux a detour will be obligatory via your restaurant. Great Italian in Montreux......if you are looking for place out of the busy touristy. The carbonara, ravioli, and the steak, even the salad are great. Just be patient with the service.....he is very friendly though.

This is literally one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! The food is out of this world. I ordered the truffle ravioli and it was mouth watering delicious. My husband ordered the arrabiata pasta and it was out of this world. My son loved his pizza. The owner is so kind and hospitable. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. This was an experience my family will never forget!
