A few years ago this place was a nice place to hang out. Over the years it has lost its style due to the probable constant change of employees. Once upon a time there were waitresses who, as soon as we saw you, in addition to the beautiful greeting where they looked you in the face, served you magnificently. Now when you arrive they don't even look at you, an almost non-existent greeting as if to say one more customer (a customer who spends around 30/40 fr a day between breakfast and lunch and around 100 fr on daily diesel) croissants always overcooked, the example selection of cream croissants or wrong jam, almost salty, they don't taste sweet, an ice cream fridge set outside at 40 degrees, tables always dirty and in the morning you struggle to find a table that doesn't still have the cup from the customer before. This morning I got fed up with yet another unacceptable service because in order to sell you a croissant they brought it to me as soon as they took it out of the oven so I couldn't eat it right then and there and was forced to ask them for a bag so I could take it away. He would first of all ask if I wanted a croissant and advise that they had just been taken out of the oven. Overall it is a good company with many services but the constant change of staff penalizes the quality, the one in Biasca is still safe, in the context it has a good clientele and some employees (one) are professional, but in the one in Castione/Arbedo let's forget it I have never set foot in it again and I no longer take with me or suggest anyone enter it for various reasons on the professional service which no longer exists. I have been a regular customer for more than 10 years.

The City in Ticino are sort of miniature motorway restaurants where you can eat discreetly, with a cost of around 10/12 francs for a sandwich, beer and coffee. Quick service always crowded from 12pm to 1.15pm, lunch is more calm around 1.15pm onwards.

Sometimes they don't distribute snacks with aperitifs..

The sandwiches are size XXL. Usually the photos on the menus show the sandwiches larger than the real ones, but here it's the opposite!

In Ticino there are several snack bars of this type. It is a very interesting format and also much appreciated by users, you can take a coffee break or have lunch with excellent menus. For some time now the city bistro has also been opened in Biasca, open from 05.30 in the morning to 22.00 in the evening

A lot of people have been coming to this place lately... the problem is that both the service and the preparation of the sandwiches are getting worse which is a bit embarrassing lately!!
