Coffee & Friends in Genève

Visited multiple times during our short break In Cornavin, staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, especially Caroline!! Food was great and the coffee is 10/10! Would definitely recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coffee & Friends and my experience was fantastic, thanks in large part to the server Thomas. His professionalism and warm attitude really made my stop memorable. Not only was he attentive to my needs, but he also had extensive knowledge of the menu, offering personalized recommendations that perfectly complemented my choice. His passion for customer service was evident, and he created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Coffee & Friends to anyone looking for a great coffee experience, and definitely ask to be served by Thomas for an even better experience.

Decent coffee and croissants but very unpleasant service

I had issue because cashier didn't understand me but luckily another barista who can speak English took my order. Price is affordable, this place can be crowded during peak hours. Hot latte within my expectation. Strong!

I arrived between 10:45 and 10:50 (can't be 100% accurate on my arrival time) and went to the counter, where I was told that unless I wanted something to take away , I could sit at a table, take a seat and wait. So I did it. After several minutes I called the waitress, she told me to wait because she was busy with other customers (not particularly pleasant tone). Finally she came, I asked for breakfast. She looked at her watch and said she couldn't serve me, because breakfast was until 11 a.m. and it was already...three minutes past 11! I pointed out that I had been waiting for at least 10 minutes, but she didn't seem to mind. So I got up and left.

Sunday 10.12.23 at 4:58 p.m. Round table in front of the sandwiches. The extremely arrogant waitress cashes before serving. Plus she forgot a cream. And no ticket even though requested for accounting. If my character does that, I'll fire him. Service unworthy of a CFF station and of Geneva.... To be avoided.

For some time now, the toilets of this café have not been available to customers. Only for staff. Customers are asked to use the station toilets on the train platform. This is scandalous and it is completely illegal. Indeed, a café is supposed to provide toilets for their customers. An elderly, disabled or pregnant person must be able to use toilets close to the café, and not on the other side of the station with stairs to climb, because this is discriminatory and not at all practical. It is unacceptable. This cafe is illegal

The service sucks. The waitress And….is incorrect with customers. She was chatting at the counter with her friend while customers were waiting. Not professional at all.

It's a chain thing. But in this particular one the service was happy and helpful. You'll go here because you have to, but be kind to those who make it more than just a pitstop. Please.

Had a milk coffee here CHF5.20 and it was rubbish... coffee was weak and awful taste.. couldn't drink any more than is in the photo...

We went in to get a quick snack and ordered a crumble aux pommes, which was out order, fair enough. I then went to get some more money, as everything else was more expensive than we would have liked. Back at the counter I wasn't attended to even though I spoke to the ladies before. Then after a couple of minutes the waiter came and said I should sit down and he would take our orders. The waiter never came, took care of other peoples table. Very very disappointing. In a nutshell: Food: 0/5 because we never got to try the food Ambience: 3/5, nice furniture but space shared with Burger King Staff: 0/5 amazingly incompetent staff and ignorant waiter That's that.

the servant was rude and was not clear on the menu. I had to pay more than I thought because of its lack of precision, the Lidl Berlin Balls are clearly better than that. I clearly do not recommend you

Located in same areas Burger King. It is an open space, which the two businesses use. Nice place to watch the world go by. Can see into the main train station depending on where you sit. Needless to say it’s a busy place. Nice atmosphere and casually decorated. Nice beer, decent price.

The waitress here are rude and they mistreat. They should learn how to behave people with different nationalities/race. She was serving people on the other tables and when it came to us, it was "order at the counter". I first thought she was genuinely busy but that was not the case. Although the manager was nice but the waitress didn't seem to accept that she ignored and discriminated based on the nationality/race.

Coffee & Friends Burger King at the Geneva train station offers a pleasant atmosphere with comfortable chairs for a relaxing break. The coffee, hot chocolate and morning pastries are delicious. Watery decaf espresso, no quality control

It is the 3rd time I come to this place. It’s full most of the time and they have just 1 waitresses. It seems that they choose who they will serve and I’ve been trying to call the woman’s attention for half an hour. It doesn’t look like that with other people I’ve seen being served very quick arriving long time after me. People around me agreed and seen this behavior. I definitely won’t come back, I not just felt mistreated by the waitress I felt discrimination as well.

Poorly prepared coffee, no foam on it. No taste.

Coffee add Friends is an excellent place to meet friends for a cup of coffee or a pint of (local) beer, in Gare Cornavin, Geneva. Staffs are friendly and attentive, even on times that they are quite busy.

Lovely cafe near Lake Geneva and the center of the city center train station. Working hours are from 7 am and it serves coffee and breakfast

Hello, I waited 15 m to have a little coffee unfortunately no one came to serve the gentleman he was drinking his coffee behind the bar! The waitress was completely asleep!! It’s a shame, we are regular customers.

Surprised by the comments below but we should be helping people get better instead of putting their head under water. For my part, it was satisfactory for the quality/price ratio of what is offered. Just what I needed while waiting for my trip. Thank you and courage to you 👍

Disastrous service and the lady behind the counter doesn't care much about the customer. I asked twice for a coffee and a cold tea. Once I was asked to sit and wait... after a while. moment I get up and insist again on having a cold coffee and tea... which is served to me with many comments which are NOT professional.....to be avoided

I ordered a cappuccino and got one that another guest didn't want because he ordered something else. It actually makes sense to avoid food waste, but in principle it doesn't work or I should have at least been asked if I agreed.

What is it Slow - oh my. By the time my hot chocolate arrives - cold chocolate - for 4.90.- frs.

4 p.m., totally ineffective table service. I am asked to get up and go to the counter to be served. We are at the station, a key location for busy customers. I do not blame the employees present who were polite and charming, but a management which visibly saves on staff

Good friendly service, even though some staff don’t speak English well, they do well to understand and assist with pleasant care. Coffee is strong and the hot chocolate is made with real milk.

Good location, comfy furniture, nice staff & soy milk. Although... A latte is not a café au lait and it shares space with burger king. Not recommended for a date but great if you're waiting for your train.

i loved the capaccino , they use an italian brand called “ KIMBO “ ..they dont do coffee art , its served with a white cloud on top and served in a porcelane cup ( very important to me ! i dont like to have my coffee in paper )

Bad coffee and staff are not speaking English. Spent 2 minutes to explain that I want cold water! although the place is located in Geneva railway station. Not recommended place to have a coffee.

Practice before taking the train

We were waiting 15 minutes to be served. The waitress saw us arriving as she was cleaning the table. Unfortunately typical for geneva. Once served, we felt like employees really hate their job here.

I asked for 1 breakfast 3 times this morning at 7:10 a.m. and waited 40 minutes. At the end, I explained to the waitress that this was not normal, she replied very rudely that I didn't ask her anything, that I just have to go see the manager if I'm not happy then went to take the ordering the next table without a word of apology or service. We treat people rudely because we consider them to be a passing clientele. Never experienced a situation like this! A real shame for Geneva!

It is a very nice coffee place. Hot chocolate was very good, waiters were friendly, respectful, and smiley. I was there during rush hours so it was not very quiet but I can imagine how peaceful and cosy it is in between the rush hours.

If I could have given no stars I would have done so! Served late when I only had 30 minutes to eat and the waiters guaranteed me that it would be served in 5 minutes. I immediately asked if they had grated cheese for the pasta and they assured me that yes... THEY DID NOT! Pasta served COLD and tasteless. 18.- for such a disaster it's not worth it! Much too expensive for what it is! The waiter was monstrously rude and didn't care about his customer's satisfaction. Not only did he make no move in light of the situation and what's more, he didn't even say a word of apology regarding the lack of cheese and the cold dish. A shame !!!! Never go there!

Worst lemonade ever, worst and unpolite waitress ever in my life

Awful place, unpolite and snobbish waitresses, they only speak in French even if they understand you're a foreigner. The breakfast action does not exist, it is just a way to catch tourists from outside the station. I had to wait more than 10 minutes to pay. Don't go there!!! Horrible place, rude staff who pretend not to understand English, the breakfast promotion doesn't exist it's just a way to attract customers, we waited more than ten minutes to pay. Absurd, don't go!!
