The Hamburger Foundation in Genève

This is the 2nd time we have returned to this fast food restaurant. The reception is once again deplorable, the prices are much too expensive and it was clearly better before. There was a mistake in our order and when we asked for a change the cashier was rude and told us they wouldn't charge the "extra" even though the mistake was on their side. In short, I do not recommend.

The place is so beautiful!!🤩🤩gives dinner vibes😍😍music playlist is a 12/10 we wonder if there playlist is Apple Music or Spotify I want the playlist it’s so good 😜😜!!! Over all experience is a 1000/10 ( p.s you should get the burger it looks bomb asf😩😋😋

US road diner vibe restaurant with nice music. Simple, but the burgers are delicious! Very friendly staff! There was a mix up with the sides (normal fries vs sweet potato fries) and we ended up getting the sweet potato ones extra for free. Can recommend their homemade lemonade!

I had student menu which was quite nice for the price but I can't imagine I pay full price. Just normal cheeseburger, nothing special. Staff was very nice and so was interior.

The food is still good (except for the cheesecake which has changed and is now horrible) but service has collapsed. It’s the third consecutive time we don’t get our order right 🤬 Also, we always take out as the restaurant is a bit run down/dirty

We had the best dinner here. We were a large group of 10 and the team were fantastic, and accomodated us in an upstairs room. Thank you for 10/10 service, great food and helping us have a lovely night

On the other hand, 0 service, even though the restaurant was almost empty and it is even a certain price to eat there (count 30.- for cheesburger, fries, coke). Even at the McDonald's they do the mtnt service...

Ordered by uber eats. “The Beyond Meat” is mainly taken by vegans. However, I saw a “vegan bun” box to check. Does this mean that if we don't check it, we don't have a vegan bun? It's very dangerous, we should offer the opposite, an automatic vegan bun and for those who prefer, a classic bun. I also received a half white and half red sauce that I didn't ask for. It was probably ketchup and mayonnaise. Mayonnaise contains eggs. For someone like me who wants to consume without involving animals, it's a failure and yet everything I ordered indicated that I am vegan. I still give 4 stars but next time if that happens, it's 0 or 1 if 0 is not possible. Plus the fries were cold. It's really generous of me to get 4 stars, especially since it's a meat restaurant. Other than that, the Beyond is very good, as always.

They missed the order twice and gave us food that was for another table twice (and the restaurant was empty)... the burgers are average and fries generally bad.. go to Holy Cow its even cheaper

The restaurant is synaptic and pleasant to sit on the terrace. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with a nice touch of humor which is always nice. The burgers are very good and the fries too and the service was fast and efficient. The only downside is that the prices are quite high if you are not a student since there is no menu option but just combine the fries and the burger. It's a shame because if the prices were a little lower I would go back more often.

The Beyond Burger was delicious, as were the sweet potato fries. We highly recommend this restaurant, so if you're in the area and don't know where to eat, go there.

It requires talent to make such thin patties raw. Uncooked patties with ok toppings. Potato and beer is good, not something to be proud of for a hamburger place. Stay away.

Weekly customer for years, I stopped by for a takeout this Saturday. I would say this restaurant is expensive for burgers but the quality is good. I had the misfortune of entering without having finished releasing all of the smoke from my mini nicotine-free vaping device. I was rebuffed like a dirty person and even when saying that it was put away the cashier continued to rebuke me, I even felt threatened. I then asked kindly with a smile if he wanted me to leave, he said “yes, I don’t mind”. I have therefore left and will never go back and will never buy again on the sites of the shareholder M3 (deindeal, MyStore, etc.) unless there is an apology, which will certainly never come. 😬 I have never been treated like that and I am always a gentleman. Don't take me for a pumpkin.

The burgers are very good. On the other hand I would say that for the price they are really very small. In addition, the price does not include fries or salad or even drinks, all to be paid separately. The quality of the meat and the fries are also very good. On the other hand, the dishes are broken and the toilets deserve a little refresh. For the price we are willing to pay for the burger, the place deserves to pay attention to other details. Clean establishment but offers few choices on the menu. The burgers are good but quite small and fries are optional. I therefore recommend this place more for a “snack” than for a real meal.

1st time at THF..... Bacon Cheese and raclette fries... Honestly, absolutely nothing tasty.. The steaks quite dry, the fries quite good but nothing more and it's not raclette. But especially the Bacon Cheese really sucks in terms of taste... Not to mention the price!! For this result it’s crazy!!!!! TOO DISAPPOINTED

I was on my way to an evening with friends, which promised to be a good one, when I decided to stop and enjoy a burger at THF Eaux-Vives. I had such a good time with the hilarious waiters that they convinced me not to drink tonight, and I had a wonderful evening of frank friendship, completely sober. Ultimately, the journey is more important than the destination. Since then, I have given up alcohol and cigarettes, started detox and reconnected with my son. I write this message with tears in my eyes. Thanks again.

Too disappointed! The fries are very good as are the bun and the burger sauce. But we clearly need to urgently review beef!! Lots of bits of fat in the steak. It disgusted me for 29chf more!

This particular THF has become our choice of burger joint to eat at. I come here with regular frequency with my 12 and 8 year old, to the extent that the staff behind the counter now recognize me. The service here is great and the quality oft he burgers is superb. I have never been a fan of sweet potato fries but the ones here are divine. I am yet to find another burger place that can beat them. The service here is great. From the time you have given an order and paid, the food is with you within 2-3 minutes. THF and this particular one in Eaux-Vives is our go to place

The cheeseburger is excellent, with tasty and delicious meat, cooked to perfection and not burnt, served with sauces that do not cover the flavor of the meat and on a very soft and tasty black bun

I’ve tried it a couple of times as I live next door but again I am disappointed. In my opinion THF is behind 2 other burger places nearby, Inglewood and Black Tab. Burger is okey-ish (I’ve had the bacon cheese burger) but the sweet potatoes are great.

Monday evening, 10 p.m.: Greeted by a seller with a crumb on the corner of his lip... don't ask what cooking is desired. Overcooked burger tastes like nothing, with no sauce to make up for it. In short, disgusting.

A rainy autumn day which started rather averagely for me and I left this restaurant with a smile on my face thanks to two very friendly young waiters!!

Everything is delicious and incredible, the quality of the delicious burgers, the kindness of the people in the establishment and the harmonious atmosphere. Simply the best burgers you can try.

My burger was overcooked. Do you know how to read customer reviews? When I request rare cooking, I would like to have my request accepted. I am scandalized by THF which does not respect the request for my cooking. It is not the first time. If I do this again, I will call the THF in question to notify them of my request. The problem may be SMOOD not getting the message across. I will give 1 star to quality, quantity and presentation for not having taken into account rare cooking. Doesn't deserve a star!!!!!!

Terrible service: 20 minutes late for the takeaway order...then they forgot a hamburger. To complete the tour there is no telephone number on Google Maps or on their website!!!

It's a bit pricy, but we are in Geneva after all. The service is always friendly and fast. I love the fact that I can get a vegan burger with lots of extras (e.g. piling mushrooms and caramelised onions on a beyond burger 🤤), rather than making the usual compromise that one has to make as the vegan at an Omni restaurant.

Unacceptable… 75.- for 2 burgers with 2 fries and 2 bottles of water? For my part, 27.- for the burger with 8.- for fries and 5.- for the bottle of water? 40.- for a burger menu. It's good but nothing crazy and we waited 25' with an empty restaurant. One of the burgers arrived without onion… Anything for this price and we don't even get served at the table! Babababa there are much better burger spots for much less money in Geneva!

Tonight, to celebrate my birthday, I planned to go to Hamburger Foundation for dinner. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:45 p.m., the cooks were putting away their utensils and the servers were not even present at the counter. No wonder there was no one seated given the atmosphere! It says open until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. It’s very disappointing from this channel which, before, was great but from what I was able to experience and read in the comments, it’s no longer the same… Damage.

I used to like it but now it’s not wow phew. 25.50.- for a burger, fries, drink is the price of a restaurant when it is served on a plastic with frozen fries. I don't understand how it can be so expensive compared to other restaurants

I have regularly ordered or eaten at Hamburger Foundation since their beginnings and it is clear that the food no longer has anything to do with their beginnings. I think it's time for me to change creameries. I remember the meat being juicy and rare (we were asked to cook it at the time, which is no longer the case). The fries are also no longer as good. Today they are two very thin meat steaks and very often overcooked. The staff is pleasant and efficient but the "new concept" service (to use their words) is also losing quality, they no longer come to take your order at the table except directly upon entering the counter and you pay directly upon arrival. Everything is then served to you on a tiny plastic tray, all in disposable tableware (sad today to allow this regression). Service and quality therefore weaken but not prices. Too bad because I really liked their hamburgers, they're still good without more, and I'm starting to feel like I'm being taken for a pigeon.

We were expecting a burger worthy of the name, on a plate, we found ourselves eating like at Mac Donalds, barely cooked burger, with sauce wrapped in plastic and dessert in a box. The only positive thing: a free glass of water. Disappointed.

It's a very good place. The sweet potato fries are very good. There are very creamy milk shakes too, and the employees are very friendly.

I don’t usually eat burgers, But this is the only place I eat burgers in. I know it sounds like I work with them or something but truly their burgers are Amazing !!! They have American mustard too which is hard to find in Geneva. After all I dont know much about burgers but go for yourself.

Delicious burger with vegan and not so vegan options. You can build your own version or trust the team. Cheese fries could have been a bit more cheese cheesy

The fries are good and the Burgers too. On the other hand, the Burgers with more meat are, in my opinion, less good because the toppings are not suitable and neither is the bread (it was soaked!) and very small but ultra thick. No homemade sauce either for the fries or anything.

Blah blah blah…. Nothing more to do with the beginnings. Frozen fries, way too much salt all for the price of a kilo of fries at the Coop. On the online shop you can choose extras or delete and that's a plus product, but in the end we had the salad in the burgers, so you have to learn to read... The meat is very close and nothing…. It's super expensive for ultimately something that's super blah. I'm disappointed. I won't go back there.

Expensice for a burger served in paper and not in a plate. Minimalist. Wants to mimic american burgers but not near. Fries too oily. Bruger tiny. Order at bar, service nice. Not at level of expectations. I don t see what deserves to have those prices.
