They have vegan and non vegan pastries, OMG the morning bun was delicious as well as the spicy latte! Super well balanced flavors. Highly recommend. Next time I visit I'll try their matcha latte

One of the most hyped bakeries in Zurich. I was there to buy pastries. At lunchtime there wasn't much left, so we chose a cinnamon roll. The roll was fluffy and had a really great consistency. But what I didn't like about it is the much more important thing: the taste. I didn't taste any cinnamon at all, instead the cardamom was pretty pure. I tasted absolutely nothing except cardamom. The taste was so intense and penetrating that it remained in the mouth even after a black tea and only went away when I brushed my teeth. If I go back, I would like more cinnamon and less cardamom flavor. It could also be a bit sweeter. Finally, a comment on the service: the waitress was definitely a native English speaker and made a great effort to speak German.

I just came for a coffee and it was extremely good. The service very friendly and attentive. I will come back.

Had the Tartin no.1 for a weekend brunch. Loved it. But portion sizes were small in general.

Totally overpriced even for Zurich standards! 1 hour before closing time there was only croissants left. But these cost 5 Fr. and were a bit dried out and not worth the exorbitant price.

The coffee was very tasty. It would be great if the staff also spoke German.

To sum it up: top quality, service and intelligent use of sustainable packaging materials. Just got a matcha latte and 4 croissants on my way to work, and it was definitely not the last time.

I took a flat white to go there. It was really good, with a deep and complex taste. Perfect amount of milk. Although the thing that I preferred was the chocolate cookie. It was beyond everything! Soft, thick, super buttery and with plenty of chocolate chips. Completely decadent! Yum!

The Tagesanzeiger praised the restaurant as child-friendly. There was a triptrap and toilet with a changing table, and a gravel area outside. The service staff only spoke English and the chairs had no backrest. The "brunch" menu only consisted of sandwiches and was, in our opinion, overpriced (21.- for a piece of sandwiches, 10.- for Konfibrot!). The pastries as such tasted great (fresh, crispy) and the coffee was very fine (unfortunately also rather expensive).

They have poor variety if you arrive around 1pm. The attendant said they don’t serve any savoury food after 1pm and the selection of sweet pastries is limited. My suggestion is to avoid this place at this time. The ambience is also very basic, no cozy at all.

Well, it was probably a top-3 danish I’ve had in my whole life! A very good flat white too. Will come back

Nice croissant, dessert breads, and nice nutty flavored coffee. Pretty busy and packed indoor spaces but it makes sense when you taste their bread! ☺️

The danish and the vegan pain au chocolat are excellent. The staff is very kind. I was hoping to find and try the NY Croissant, please make it again in the future!

Super cozy cafeteria, great products and coffee

We were there on Sunday shortly before 1:00 p.m. and were in the mood for coffee and sweet pastries. 🥐 Unfortunately there was nothing left of the food. The waitress told us that we should come earlier next time because the sweet pastries, croissants,... were all gone by 11 a.m. I absolutely can't understand that. The café is open until 3 p.m. on Sundays and there should be enough selection until closing time. Well, luckily there was still good coffee ☕️

this place is crowded with jock hipsters from companies like apple or 1plusx. good pastries and coffee though!

I specially like this place for coffee from Rose coffee roasters, which is one of the best in Switzerland. The quality of bread and pastries is also at the top.

It was a pleasureable stay. I oredered an oatmilk cappucino and it was was of the best if ever had. The temperature was just like it should be and the taste combination of the milk and coffee beans were perfect. I enjoyed every sip! The croissant was delicious too, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a vegan chocolate filling. The only downside is that this bakery does not accept cash, but its not that big of a deal :)

Food is great but almost everything was sold out. Tables can be dirty

The baked goods are fantastic. My favorite croissant in Zurich. Matcha latte is also excellent. Ambience is simple and modern. The restaurant is also family-friendly, which is not necessarily the norm in Switzerland. 👍🏻😊 love it!

Collective Bakery is hands down one of the best bakeries in town. Their croissants have the perfect crunchy texture, and they get super creative with their seasonal danish pastries, offering sweet and savory options. What's even better is the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, especially when you can enjoy breakfast outside on a sunny day. The outdoor seating is a great touch. While I'm a big fan of their cappuccinos, I did notice that their matcha latte could use a bit more brewing because there was some residue after only drinking half. On the plus side, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it's a cashless spot, making it a practical choice for a delicious breakfast. You'll love it here!

A very cute cafe. Used to have the best coffee in town, now every time I come - the quality is declining. A shame given the fact that prices are very high. Pastries are great tho

The Caffè is located in Zurich's commercial zone and is easily accessible on foot and by public transport. The restaurant is modern but simply furnished. I found the operating concept to be extremely inefficient and there was a long queue. The offer is extremely limited. The prices are in the high price segment, everything is rather overpriced in my opinion. The coffee was inedible, but the croissant tasted good. The Caffè offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and some are covered. The restaurant is very busy at peak times. There are no car parking spaces in the area. Cash payment is not possible.

Cheese sandwich 8 franchs lookin poor and sad, crazy, long waiting time to be served. Messy place. Fix your sandwich and put people who can work at the bar. Paying less and putting people who need 30 min to make 1 cappuccino. Oh jeeee…

There's nothing wrong with the food itself, I had the hummus and a coffee. However, the price was too high for this small portion. There are also 2 stars because you can't pay with cash. Cash should not be boycotted. Even American Express is not accepted. Unfortunately, it was anything but a comfortable brunch because the wooden chairs were very uncomfortable and had no backrests. The draft should also be fixed.

I ordered a latte - the person taking my order acknowledged this. Then when I received my order, apparently I ordered a cappuccino. I asked the person taking my order regarding this. "Yes we don't have latte here. It's the same as cappuccino." Interesting.. Everything else is great 🙃

The restaurant is modern and simple. Seating is available indoors and outdoors. Self-service at the checkout. The coffee (in our case iced coffee) is delicious but the portions are extremely small. So, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio here is absolutely not right (even if attention is paid to raw materials and sustainability - other restaurants with a similar concept, in a much more central location in Zurich, offer a better price-performance ratio).

We've been many times here and never left disappointed! So far I loved absolutely everything I tried!

Very fine cappuccino. I'm not so sure about the pastries, despite the addition of "Bakery" in the name.

Zurich hipster alarm. With chilled lounge music and products labeled only in English, you can (I'm not exaggerating) wait in line for 15 minutes and, to put it cautiously, watch the staff work in a relaxed manner (some of them also only speak English) and then pay 10.00 for a small cappuccino and an equally small croissant. Perfect for students with a lot of time.

Modern, simple furnishings. Self-service bakery. Good cappuccino, but everything is massively overpriced. Rather unfriendly service. Some of the staff don't speak German. In summary, a hipster bar.

Unfortunately for me it was anything but a relaxed brunch on Saturday. Will not visit this restaurant again. But it's definitely the right thing for hipsters :) - no decaf coffee :((((( - long queues, no service at the table - There were 8 children in the small restaurant, all of whom were screaming and crying so loudly, it felt like they were in a playgroup. - 2dl Flat White (there are no more lattes in ZH now….. :)) costs 6.50 Fr - I was looking forward to my muesli, it had so little granola on it that I had to smile. Then I couldn't eat it because I didn't like the pickled fruit. I found it unnecessary to wait another 10 minutes for a chocolate croissant. - unfortunately we didn't take any pastries -> after I started reading the reviews on Google, I regretted it. These are definitely delicious. - I was really happy when the friendly gentleman at the checkout accepted my order in German :) that was great! - I find the restaurant very spartan and uncomfortable. You also have to clean up yourself (we thought). - there were a lot of wasps in the restaurant

Went today and there didn't seem to be very much food. I couldn't see any croissants or any pastries.

The baked goods etc. are really delicious. Unfortunately, the staff gives 0% the impression that they would be interested if there is a huge queue waiting. I've never seen someone in service have so much time to talk to their colleagues or anything else... It's a real shame, but if they would just behave a little more promptly, I would come more often. But I waste about 20' of my break on 1 croissant...

This place is SO GOOD that I want to gatekeep it. But by far the best bakery in Zurich. The stuff is so fresh and the produce is high quality. The danish I got with feta and tomato took me back to one of my favourite bakeries in Amsterdam. Can’t recommend this enough! But I hope telling everyone about this place doesn’t reduce the stock of danish in the bakery. The dilemma.

the croissants are amazing. only on Sunday you have to be early to get one.. Pain au chocolate my second choice. I suggest they ramp up croissant production for the weekend..

Top notes for baked products. Delicious pastries, great variety (some small changes every week). Very good coffee, darker roast. They also serve great filter coffee. Myself I would welcome a lighter roast, fruity milk based coffee added to the selection.

I like to start the day with a cinnamon roll, flat white and a sandwich to go!

At half past one yesterday the displays were almost empty. I bought two of the muffin-like snails (forgotten name) to take home and was disappointed. The dough was dry and there was hardly any filling. Maybe it was due to the time of day. But the service was friendly and accommodating.

A pleasant spot on Sunday mornings where you can reward yourself with small sins for the strenuous week. The quality and taste speaks for itself. We love it 😍.

Totally amazing place. The best croissants in town. Capuchinos are dope too. They also have a unique pastry called "cruffin". A muffin with a croissant dough. The place is in the industrial area. Don't expect a beautiful view. Concrete and cement everywhere. Parking is a bit tricky. Don't use the P-West parking lot. It was designed for hobbits. Really no space for maneuvering.

one of the best breakfast in Zurich. Croissant and pan au chocolate was delicious. Muesli granola was incredibly rich, coffee smells great, i cannot find any downside. Great ambient with huge garden. You can park your bike at the door and enjoy your coffee. Recommend 100% my new must go place in Zurich.

Too cool to be friendly. Too cool to smile. Too cool to speak German. Everything okay. If you're looking for more than "okay", you'll find better things in Zurich - and definitely a better price-performance ratio.

The best cappuccino & espresso in Zurich! All baked goods are very tasty!!

High quality goods and high prices but zero customer orientation ☹️ Regularly sold out ahead of time, the artificial shortage of supply and the long queue is perhaps part of the hipster philosophy. Today, I was particularly shocked: Pre-ordered goods are sold without warning, supposedly because I was later than announced. Unfortunately, they show zero understanding of such criticism. The customer is the problem 🤷‍♂️

My girlfriend showed me this place. It’s quite hidden in the quartier. French croissants and coffee are really tasty. They also have tables with umbrellas to seat outside.

Cute coffee shop with a lot of outdoors seating, so perfect for warm sunny days. They have quite good coffee and the baked goods look amazing! I tried the spiced latte which didn't contain as much coffee as I hoped for but tasted great nevertheless. I also tried the espresso tonic which was perfect for a summer day like that one and would definitely recommend!

Best croissants I have ever eaten in Switzerland. Croissant, pain au chocolat and double baked walnut croissant were excellent. So does the cappuccino.

Sweet pastries, coffee and cappuccino are simply amazing. The restaurant is also relatively simple but modernly furnished without a lot of frills. I'm happy to come every Wednesday.

Really delicious sourdough bread, pastries (including a ‘crofin’ which is a cross between a croissant and a muffin!) plus vegan cardamom rolls. Warm and friendly service too!

Worth a stop. The vegan options aren't extensive - a croissant, a cinnamon roll, and a sandwich - but they were all delicious (yes of course I had them all). And for Zürich I found the prices low. Plus the tea was delicious, the setting comfortable, and the staff were just absolutely lovely <3

More appearance than reality. The service doesn't know what a "cup" is, so milk coffee was available, but only as a choice between cappuccino and flat white. Long waiting time, service overwhelmed. Maybe the right place for hipsters

This has become my favourite coffee place in Zürich. The baristas are nice and will help you get your preferred coffee profile. They will prepare it with upmost care. They prepare top quality pastries and bread, including my favourite their Zimtrolle.

Awesome hipster breakfast spot with amazing selection of pastries. Highly recommend the omelette, it was surprisingly well!

OH MY GOD. This croissant was so so good! Best thing I've ever had in Zurich. Cappuccino with oat milk was also great (I think even at no extra charge?). And of course very nice, relaxed staff. It was definitely not the last time we were there ♥️ high praise

Saturday around 11 a.m., we can't get a seat, all the tables are completely full. We wait for about a quarter of an hour with increasing impatience because at some tables there is only lively chatter despite the empty cups and plates. Unfortunately, take-away was not an option for us. It's a shame, we were really happy, but we left the bakery feeling pretty frustrated The rating shouldn't be one at all, but Google really wants stars. So I give it an average three stars. Sorry.

Perfect place for some wine and/or food after work! The ambiance was warm and we were so well looked after - the food came quickly and we never had to wait for anything. And the food was so good!! Interesting combinations and well executed! Can definitely recommend!
