COLORS - Restaurant und Bar in Quarten

Quick food but taste is ok. Service lady is very unfriendly and arrogant. Pretend to not hear my question while she clearly did. The price is not cheaper compared with other restaurant in flumserberg where you can get much better service. Not recommended.

Ski test day and lunch were perfect

Place has a great location for apres-ski or something to eat afer winter activities, at the end of the slopes. Unfortunately the service at the bar is mainly busy with gossiping, rather than paying attention to the customers, which causes the line for order taking forever and the place earning less money. See the clear tendency that the old-timer the person here works, the less respect they have for the customers. Sad, but true..

WEVisit to Flumserberg. Despite the overcrowded self-service restaurant, you are helped to find a seat. Thanks to the helpful staff, we were able to enjoy our menu and get back on the slopes quickly.

Quite okay portion for the price. All in all when you are eating at the most popular ski area around Zurich, you get satisfied easily.

This afternoon at half past three. Very mean and rude somewhat fat female service cat. I'm at the bar table and asked if I would like to order. I've already waited over 10 minutes and found a neighboring table and sat facing the bar table. The service person always spoke English to me in a bad mood, even though I emphasized several times that my German was better. She scolded me for 5 minutes for changing my table, even though I made it clear that I didn't want to stand forever and specifically chose a table right next to the table and said I would do better next time. In the end she entered the tip directly without me asking and said she made a typo.

I took a beef burger, it's made on the spot, the cheese is melted in the steak. It's served with coleslaw and fries. The service is not really helpful. They have some dishes in small and big portions, but the dish of the day only exists in one portion and they don't want to make a small plate for kids.

I want the igloo back. Absolutely ZERO après-ski atmosphere at Colors. Totally bull. It's a shame that Flumsi doesn't do anything in this direction.

Staff at the bar are underground, unfriendly, want to sell something new every 5 minutes even though the table is already full, it's a shame that the beautiful location is so poorly managed.

Everything was great, especially the service!

When I asked if I could eat something vegan, the chef (Mrs. Dorota from Poland) said no problem. I should ask for her in the kitchen at lunchtime and she will prepare something vegan for me. At first I thought it was a joke. But lo and behold, I actually received something that wasn't even there in the menu. Soy (meat), rice with vegetables and coconut milk. Plus it tasted great. Thanks to the whole team and Ms. Dorota!

The pulled pork burger smelled like a can of tuna in bread. I became skeptical when I saw that the pulled pork came from a bag that had been warmed in water. This is the best thing to serve to your pets. It cost almost 30 CHF.

During ski days, I have lunch at this restaurant. The hamburgers are delicious and fresh. Everyone is very nice and cheerful ! 🤗

Their burgers are fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive, even when it gets very busy. I have to disagree with the negative recent review. I can say that I have been having lunch at Colors every Saturday the past 2 years during ski season whilst my daughter skis, and have had very positive experiences with the manager and all other personnel. And have seen very kind interactions with children.

The Lady running the place is walking around like a stressed demon eventhoughthe place was almost empty. 0% adjusted to children. Food Was okay, were it not for the lady

The Coupe Denmark was so monumentally good that I had to protect my wallet and my figure....!!!!.... If this restaurant was free, I would have eaten half the restaurant empty....!!!!!....

We were able to enjoy a great BBQ. Fine food and a great selection. A large salad buffet with fresh salads, a buffet with various warm grilled dishes and a varied dessert buffet. There was something for everybody. Very friendly staff.

We ate an ice cream. The ice cream tasted great, but it had more air than ice cream in a cup, which is why I only give it 3 stars.

We are always on the “mountain” and love this colorful restaurant. Price-performance is good and the service is friendly. What surprises me a bit is that there are parents who "park" their children in the restaurant in winter and go skiing themselves.

The self-service restaurant handled the large crowds excellently and was always friendly. The restaurant was full to capacity, the cleanliness wasn't quite up to par, but that wasn't surprising given the situation. The choice of food was enough and it was delicious.

The staff at the checkout is very friendly. Unfortunately, the kitchen is constantly overwhelmed. It's often cold or it takes a long time to get the food. We're talking about self-service here. When you order, two menus come very quickly and you then wait a few minutes for the third and fourth. So the first two menus are already cold again.

Very friendly serving staff. Good lighting and pleasant ambience. Excellent drinks. Sometimes a little crowded with people, but okay.

We came to this place after a good half day of skiing lessons. Could not find any good looking food so I ordered an apfelstrudel that was quite tasty and provided the necessary energy to get back to zurich and enjoy a proper meal somewhere else. The place itself is quite spacious and has a decent bathroom, but you have to self serve. I think there are better options for eating in the area.

I only gave one star so I could comment. Dirty staff, rude, rude and ugly. : I would rather bathe in vomit than have to sit there again

whoever makes the goulas should be fired sorry but absolutely disgusting for almost 10 chf. I few years ago it was one of our highlights besides going to Flumserberg . Since then the quality of the food got worse. Do something

Unfortunately I only give 4 stars for the bar and only 3 for the restaurant. I've been to the restaurant every season for 3 years now and the price/performance ratio doesn't suit me at all. The food is boring. Taste-wise, ideal for mass tourism, quick, easy and cheap to prepare. I would like to see a little more ambition from the operators in the future to be able to offer tasty food. What I can say about the bar is that you are served quickly and the whole thing is harmonious.

The atmosphere at Colors is pleasant. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and the prices are fair.

New Year's Eve at Colors, an unforgettable experience at a fair price. Very well put together menu with perfectly matched wine accompaniment. We'd love to come back.

It's a beautiful place, there is a ski lift nearby, or you can go for a walk and explore the area. The restaurant itself is recently refurbished and has an amazing atmosphere, the staff are always friendly and helpful. We often visit this place with family and friends. We recently went to Kulinarik Night and the food was delicious. Worth recommending!

We like to go skiing here on Flumserberg, but you can also go hiking here, whether in summer or winter. Nicely decorated and good location. You can eat the food, but you don't have to and there's no question of wanting to. Älplermacarons were tastelessly swimming in a kind of cream sauce. Soup was also nothing. A pity.

We were there on December 5th. Visited and unfortunately quite disappointed. It wasn't checked. The goulash soup wasn't warm and the bread with it was out. The fries were tasty, but when we asked for a little more sauce to go with the apple strudel, the service was unfriendly. I hope it gets better as the season progresses.

One of the worst restaurants! On a very windy day after an event in front of the restaurant, we were very happy that we could get into the warmth. We also wanted to have something cooked for us in the restaurant so we took the menu in our hands. We ordered 2x Spätzli, 3 soups and once French fries. After a good 3/4 hours we finally wanted to leave because it was already later in the afternoon and the train doesn't leave every half hour, so we went to the counter and wanted to cancel our meal (we hadn't received anything at that point). After ages of back and forth, it turned out that we could no longer cancel our meal. Reason: It is too short-term. So part of our group went on the train and those who were there in the car didn't stay so that all the food was thrown away. When the food arrived a quarter of an hour later, we were finally able to eat our food. You couldn't enjoy it anymore if you had to wait an hour for your food. The meal itself wasn't anything particularly elaborate or anything. In addition, the restaurant was not crowded, just full. There was nothing else to complain about about the food. The colored spaetzlis were more of a plus point. As soon as one person at the table was finished, the plate was taken away without asking whether we were finished or paying attention to the others because the rest of the table was still in the middle of eating. The fun wasn't cheap either. But this was to be expected because the prime location below the valley station is probably well served.

New and very nice bar. Has lots of space and there is also a children's course. The food is prepared with a lot of love and the service is very friendly. Stroller friendly and very clean. It's right next to the entrance to the gondola lift. There are enough parking spaces nearby.

Very tasty food at fair prices! We came across the restaurant through the culinary hike and were thrilled to go there a second time. The burgers there are incredibly tasty and the menu is varied so that everyone gets their money's worth. Definitely recommended!

Nice restaurant and chic bar with ambience. Food tasty but nothing special. Boss very friendly and helpful. Some staff seem stressed and are not well briefed. It's a shame that the bouncy cushion is no longer available for the older kids after the renovation...

We were there for the second time today...and effectively for the last time. I was there at 11 a.m. with 3 kids (3 years/5 years and 6 years) for 60.Fr. We were able to have lunch and eat, no we weren't allowed to finish it - we were forced to get up - 2 teachers from primary classes came up to us, they made reservations and the students always have to sit at the same table. They wanted to wait 10 minutes, no they couldn't. I was forced to dress the kids in the hallway and throw some things away, well there was no more room...thanks...no thanks, never again

I've been to Colors a few times and I have to say it's about time there was finally a really cool bar in Flums. The food and drinks are top, the service is excellent and the restaurant and facilities cannot be topped! I'm looking forward to coming there next time!

Great daily offer in the children's area of ​​the ski school in front of Colors. Our children's lunch in the beautiful Colors restaurant was accompanied by the ski instructors. The place is pretty good, warm and with nice atmosphere and panoramic windows but prices are expensive enough. I took a coffee with pastry, it was not bad. There is no wifi, parking (only common place behind a whole building) and service was enough slow.

Actually a very nicely decorated self-service restaurant. Except that there are a lot of people here who occupy the seats for hours with their tablets/laptops and smartphones... people who probably had more snow up their noses than ever under their skis. Then there were tables where children were doing s'Chalb and blocking entire rows of seats, and the parents three tables away were on their smartphones. Incredible conditions and the restaurant operators prefer to watch... we have never experienced anything like this. Really a mess! We had to wait for a solid three quarters of an hour until someone finally lifted the a.... from these seat blockers...
