Very good stay with excellent service.

Welcome, service, meal everything was very pleasant. view and access to the lake from the top bedroom.

Approaching the hotel from town you might hesitate for a moment. The building facing you radiates the charm of a public swimming pool and is about as far from a stylish hotel as it gets. Once inside the welcome is friendly and someone of the staff will take you to the room. The bungalows, some of them stilted above the water, are roomy and offer a beautiful view of the lake and on a good day, the mountains too. The whole complex is cheaply built however and shows lots of wear and tear. Dirty windows and blinds, pealed off paint and bird droppings on the small deck don’t give the impression of a place well looked after. The welcome drink was offered by the lakeside. Again we were greeted by food leftovers on the tables and olives scattered on the floor. Birds aside nobody seemed to care. The ”fine dining” restaurant has the resemblance of a beach eatery and was a disappointment. Dinner and wine will easily set you back a couple of hundreds but there is no tablecloth, the wine glasses are of cheap quality and cutlery is dished out haphazardly. Nobody in our party was happy with the food which in part seemed to be precooked and then reheated. The cheese was not tempered and arrived out of the fridge. Staff was friendly. We have travelled Switzerland extensively and enjoyed many memorable hotels, big and small. At CHF 700 / night for two this is definitely not one of those. Poor value for money.

Amazing hotel. It is the largest room I’ve stayed in. Beautiful details and features. What an amazing view of the lake and mountains. I enjoyed the tub and shower quite a bit. There is ample seating space with a couch, small table and a chair and desk. I didn’t take adverse of the patio/balcony area because it was too cold outside and because there are a lot of mosquitos - even in March. The location kind of sucks. Nothing really close by making getting to other places a bit challenging and expensive.

A big thank you to Mika for this welcome and above all this joy of living, from start to finish it was a treat for us. Having a drink at the bar is Malabar!

I'm not in the habit of rating this harshly, but in terms of service at the bar, we're close to nothing. How to justify such prices when each visit the customer experience is disappointing: - order taken sometimes 10-15min after being installed - long wait for simple drinks such as tea, coffee, or lemonade (not to mention the absence of 2-3 small savory dishes to accompany, something rather usual even in small bistros) - dirty dishes ; I'm not complicated on this point, but when you go to a 5* you have to be impeccable. Not normal to receive a drink worthy of a backpacking expedition... Fortunately the setting is splendid, we can't take that away! But we need real professionals, with notions of hospitality and service. We sometimes have the impression that some of the staff have been hired to help out to make ends meet.

Amazing stay! To do once in your life 🤩

A great stay in this establishment! We had a pavilion on stilts and it was incredible! There is a jacuzzi, a large bathroom, a large living room with a large bed with a view of the lake. Nothing to complain about, the staff being super friendly! You can even go into the lake from your balcony from the pavilion on stilts! In bad weather, you feel good in it, it makes you want to write a book, even without being a writer 😂 for couples, you won't be disappointed!

An exceptionnal chance to discover the Palafitte Hotel in Neuchatel. A great ambiance magnified by the lake and the bungalows that brings an immersive touch in the whole experience. And an amazing view from the own balcony of the lake bungalow (altough in the shade from 16h on by end of may). Great lake area with beautiful path to walk outside the hotel.😍 Good matress and amazing breakfast buffet. The hotel amenities tough are really outdated and had their years. A piece of the front door missing, the shower and toilet stinking of really old p***, old ugly furniture etc. Could need a renovation and is in my opinion definitely not 5 star level and not worth what you pay. I’ve stayed in much newer and nicer 5 star places in Switzerland for the same money.

Das hotel palafitte will mehr sein als es ist..preis leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht..besonders der zimmerservice fürs essen..hat keine grosse auswahl..nicht einmal ein gutes stück fleisch und was angeboten wird ist viel viel zu teuer und die speisen sind fast kalt serviert worden..und der preis für eine übernachtung von 820.- ist nicht und nimmer gerechtfertigt..man könnte es schon fast abzocke nennen in jedem bereich...wir haben schon sehr viele gute hotels besucht und haben eine gwisse erfahrung..hier ist alles auf schicki micki ausgelegt..sieht man an den autos vor der tür..ferrari..porsche..lamborgini u.s.w. Das essen vom zimmerservice (siehe fotos) Preise stehen unten links auf den fotos und sind eine frechheit.. Hotel palafitte in neuenburg einmal und nie wieder!!! Das ist unser testbericht..☆☆ sterne und nicht mehr.

Très belle première expérience à l'hôtel Palafitte! Un service très agréable et attentionné, une décoration soignée et inspirante (ambiance nautique assurée) et pour en avoir profité lors d'une météo très capricieuse (orages, soleil, vent et pluie en alternance), chaque tableau est différent et les sensations rappellent une croisière en bateau, sans les désagréments de la houle. La cuisine est excellente et le cadre offre un très bon moment hors du temps. Je reviendrai avec plaisir, merci pour l'accueil et les petites attentions 🙏🏻

In Zeiten von Corona eine Reise zu unternehmen, ist ja an sich schon eine gewisse Herausforderung und es fordert auch sicherlich eine gewisse Form von Verständnis, wenn dann nicht alles 100 %ig abläuft. Grundsätzlich waren meine Frau und ich sehr froh darüber, als deutsche Urlauber, aus NRW stammend, via eigenem PKW, reibungslos in die Schweiz ein- und mit nur geringen Auflagen, auch wieder ausreisen zu dürfen. Das Ganze war eine "Mini-Hochzeitsreise"; das ursprüngliche Reiseziel, waren die Malediven. Die Lage und Anordnung der sogenannten See-Pavillons gab für uns den Ausschlag, diese Hotelanlage auszuwählen. Drei Übernachtungen, inklusive fürstlicher Bewirtung, im 5 Sterne-Ambiente, das sollte uns unterm Strich 3.000,- € kosten. Viel Geld, aber durchaus ok, wenn man all das hätte genießen und erleben können, was uns ursprünglich versprochen und offeriert wurde. Leider war das nicht der Fall und deshalb gibt es nun auch diese Rezension hier und deshalb gibt es sie auch in dieser Ausführlichkeit. Fangen wir 'mal mit der Tatsache an, dass die Lage der Pavillons zwar einfach bezaubernd ist, so direkt am Wasser gelegen, aber was nützt einem die schönste Terrasse, wenn alles so dermaßen von Mücken belagert wird, sodass weiße Wände, schwarz erschienen. Zu keiner Tageszeit war auch nur daran zu denken, Zeit auf der Terrasse zu verbringen. Man hatte ausreichend Arbeit damit, beim Öffnen und Schließen der Eingangstür darauf zu achten, so wenig wie möglich Mücken in den Pavillon zu bekommen. Das war die erste dicke Enttäuschung...hatten wir doch auf romantische Momente, allein auf unserer kleinen See-Terrasse, in den Abendstunden gesetzt. Mit Hunderten von Mücken, wollten wir dieses Erlebnis nicht wirklich teilen! Der Rest der Ausstattung war durchaus 5 Sterne wert und im großen und Ganzen ok, wenn gleich der Whirlpool im Badezimmer ruhig etwas größer hätte ausfallen können. Für eine Person war dieser ausreichend bemessen; zu zweit machte das dann wieder keinen richtigen Sinn und auch keinen Spaß. Die größte Enttäuschung aber, war dann das Restaurant "La Table De Palafitte"! 14 von 20 Punkten wurden hier vom Guide Gault Millau und unter anderem auch eine spezielle Empfehlung des Guide Michelin vergeben. Als ehemaliger Gastronom und gelernter Koch, der ebenfalls Einträge in unbestechlichen Gastronomieführern vorweisen konnte, frage ich mich ernsthaft, was da passiert ist, als die Tester vor Ort waren?! Entweder hatten die im Restaurant einen überragenden Tag, oder die Tester einen hundsmiserablen, denn das, was wir dort geboten bekamen, hätte in keiner Weise, auch nur den Ansatz einer Erwähnung verdient. Geschmacklos zubereitete Speisen, langweilige, altbackene Kreationen und schlechte handwerkliche Umsetzung bilden den Rahmen unserer 2 Aufenthalte, in diesem Restaurant. Den dritten Abend haben wir außer Haus verbracht, weil wir wenigstens einmal gescheit zu Abend essen wollten. Dies ist uns dann auch Gott sei Dank in Neuchâtel gelungen. Zusätzlich möchte ich erwähnen, dass der Service zwar nett und höflich, aber teilweise leider sehr unprofessionell gearbeitet hat und sich der Küchenchef mit einem Mangel an Flexibilität und Serviceinteresse präsentiert hat, als er auf einen kleinen Wunsch nicht eingegangen ist, der spielend einfach und ohne große Mühe, hätte umgesetzt und somit erfüllt werden können. Am Ende wurden wir auch noch mit einer falschen Rechnung nach Hause geschickt, die im Nachgang mit einer Erstattung korrigiert werden musste, weil uns das nachträglich noch aufgefallen war und somit lautet unterm Strich das Fazit: Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis passt gar nicht; die Küche ist maßlos überschätzt (leider auch überbewertet) und einen weiteren Besuch wird es von uns definitiv nicht geben und eine Empfehlung gibt es natürlich ebenfalls nicht! Dennoch möchte ich unbedingt noch erwähnen, dass dieser Aufenthalt natürlich trotzdem zu einem Highlight geworden ist, da ich meine wunderschöne Ehefrau an meiner Seite hatte und auch immer noch habe; da haben die Begleitumstände unserer Flitter-Tage, keinen Einfluss genommen! ;-)

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre pavillon lacustre. Le design et aménagement du pavillon, la baignoire avec paroi modulable, les nombreuses ouvertures qui permettent de profiter non seulement de la vue directe sur le lac, mais aussi des jeux de lumières créés sur l'eau. Tout était parfait.

Nous avons passé une nuit en pavillon, le lieu est magique, l'équipe est sympathique mais le service n'est pas du tout à la hauteur d'un 5*, nous sommes déçus....

Am 1.03.21 Das erste mal am Neuenburgersee. Das Hotel und die Anlage liegen perfekt.Die Anlage ist gut gepflegt. Das Morgenbuffet, hammermässig gibt nichts zu meckern. Das Wetter am Morgen kühl danach ab 11.00 Uhr wurde es immer mehr Sonniger und angenehm. Leider konnten wir das Restaurant nicht austesten. Das Hotel ist ein 5 Stern leider gab es Mängel aus zusetzen,die Sofas hatten einige Flecken, Brösel hinter dem Sofa und Plastikteile von Gästen. Staub und unsaubere Bargläser das muss nicht sein. Die Liegestühle draussen konnte man auch noch säubern um einen besseren Eindruck zu gewinnen. Neben an säuberte man die ganze Terrasse ink. Liegestühle mit einem hoch druck Gerät...Für mich gehört es einfach dazu die Sauberkeit,zumal es ein 5 Stern Hotel ist. Ich würde gerne zwei weitere sterne vergeben leider ist es auf grund der Mängel nicht möglich. Wer weis wenn es das nächste mal sein wird !?.

Un 5 étoiles hors du commun !!!! .... Nous avons profiter de l’offre « Cocooning au bord de l’eau » Dans cette offre vous avez: un repas 3 plats pour 2 personnes au restaurant, la nuit dans un pavillon lacustre, un goûter pour les 16h00 dans votre pavillon, un apéritif au bar, ainsi que le petit déjeuner au restaurant pour la modique somme de fr. 580.— sans oublier que c’est un 5 étoiles. De la réception en passant par le service au restaurant ou en chambre, le personnel a été très accueillant , souriant, serviable et très attentionné. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié! Le pavillon lacustre est vraiment unique, avec son accès direct depuis la terrasse par une échelle pour aller directement dans le lac ( j’ai essayé et c’est vraiment top le seul soucis c’est que l’eau était à 7 degrés ce jour là). Le pavillon est très bien décoré est il manque vraiment rien dû tout! Le seul problème que nous avons eu c’est que la baignoire à bulles ne fonctionnait pas... La table Palafitte est un endroit qui propose une vue magnifique sur le lac , mais aussi de la cuisine gourmande, le repas ainsi que le petit déjeuner était délicieux, avec de bons produits ainsi qu’une très belle présentation. Bravo au chef et à son équipe. Pour un séjour hors du commun, magique et romantique.... vous allez faire le bon choix Encore bravo à toute l’équipe, nous avons vraiment passé un très bon moment inoubliable...

Nuit et menu du réveillon 2020-2021 Chambres spacieuses et joliment décorées. Le menage laisse un peu à désirer. Dépaysement garanti. Restaurant : service confu et peu professionnel. Rapport qualité-prix très moyen. Cuisine sans intérêt.

Incroyable nuitée sur le lac de Neuchâtel ! L’accueil est très chaleureux et le personnel est sympathique, nous avons été conduits à notre chambre en voiture de golf. Les pavillons sur pilotis sont luxueux et offrent un cadre superbe sur les Alpes Suisses. Le petit plus, c’est l’accès direct au lac par une petite échelle privative, depuis la terrasse. Nous nous sommes régalés au restaurant de l’hôtel La Table de Palafitte. Pour les amateurs de brunch, vous ne serez pas déçus, il était délicieux et varié. Pour un week-end romantique, c’est l’hôtel idéal !

Bel hôtel. Les chambres sont très belles, spacieuses et surtout avec une vue magnifique. Accueil un peu froid à la réception, on nous propose une chambre(chambre sur pilotis)avec le jacuzzi en panne, si on veut l'accepter ils nous propose un rabais sur le prix de la chambre Je pense qu'un hôtel de cette catégorie et avec ses 5 étoiles ne devraient pas faire se genre de proposition. Le room service, par contre, service au top. Petit détail, une des fenêtres dans la chambre, coin bureau, était remplie de toile d'araignée(côté extérieur) mais totalement visible. Détail non négligeable pour un 5 étoiles. Ce qui m'a aussi un peu interpellé c'est le prix du petit déjeuner, 38 francs par personne. Je suis d'accord de payer ce montant si en retour la qualité, le choix est là. Je dois dire que le petit déjeuner qui nous a été servi, en chambre, n'est absolument pas digne d'un 5 étoiles, ni du montant demandé pour ce petit déjeuner. En résumé, très bel hôtel, mais je pense un peu de laisser aller, pour un 5 étoiles. Les prix sont élevés, donc je suis en droit d' avoir un service irréprochable. Dernier détail, lors de la réservation de notre chambre, il était spécifiée que les mesures d'hygiène anti-covid y était appliquée. Mais aucun gel désinfectant dans les chambres, et un magazine et stylo était posé dans la chambre. Avait-il été changé? Je me pose la question.

Beautiful venue and very nice rooms with an incredible view. The hotel and restaurant service fell short of a 5 star hotel which was disappointing. The food was overall very good.

Globalement, tout était très bien. Le lieu est magnifique, le personnel est très agréable. Je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car il y a eu un petit souci (pas d'eau chaude à un moment, ce qui a été un peu embêtant), et le petit-déjeuner en chambre était un peu limité pour le prix (36 CHF pour un mini-croissant, 1 mini pain au chocolat, 2 mini tranches de pain et un jus d'orange). Les consommations en mini-bar son très chères pour ce que c'est (9 CHF la bouteilles d'évian en plastique) mais sinon tout était parfait.

Aussergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt Das Hôtel Palafitte ist ein ganz besonderes Hotel. Es wurde 2002 zur Schweizer Expo.02 am Neuenburgersee gebaut. Die Räume bzw. das ganze Hotel wurde auf Stelzen in den See gebaut, so wie in der Vorzeit die Bewohner des Neuenburgersees ihre Häuser auch auf Stelzen in das Wasser gebaut haben. Die Zimmer und Räumlichkeiten erinnern einen deshalb etwas an Schiffskabinen welche mit Stegen verbunden sind. Die Materialien, das Design und die Gestaltung der Räume sowie die Dekoration ist besonders individuell und wunderschön. Die Aufteilung meines Raums hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Bad und Zimmer ist grosszügig gestaltet, vom Bett aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See. Die fünf Sterne des Hotels sind gerechtfertigt, denn die Symbiose aus toller und guter Architektur, bestem Service, gutem Essen und einer fantastischen Atmosphäre bilden einen Wohlfühlfaktor den man nicht nach Tabellen messen kann.

Definitely the most beautiful place I ever stayed at. View of the alps over the lake is simply mesmerizing. Taking a bath in the in-room bath and then go for a cool swim in the lake directly from the private balcony was blissful. Waking up with a view of a golden sunrise over the lake was otherworldly. Service and food were also flawless.

Wie in der Karibik - wirklich der Wahnsinn ! Hatten eines der Zimmer direkt am Wasser und das war wohl wirklich der beste Ausblick ever. Einzig und alleine eine der Rezeptionistinnen bei der wir eingecheckt haben war sehr unfreundlich und arrogant, allerdings kann kein Hotel 100% Einfluss auf jeden einzelnen seiner Mitarbeiter zu jeder Zeit haben und da die anderen Damen und Herren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend waren, gibt es trotzdem volle 5 Sterne.
