I have many good things to say...😁 The incredible attention...they make me feel at home...in family 🥰 and that is something very pleasant... I only have my coffee and some breakfast and it is very delicious 😁 I love the views...the sun from the covered terrace. If you want to bring good feelings, it is definitely here.... Thank you for your attention and I am addicted to that American coffee and those wonderful people...🥰🥰🥰🥰

Aperitif and lunch with friends on this sunny Sunday, a beautiful atmosphere and impeccable service thanks to Claudia, super helpful and professional! Good!

The view of the lake is wonderful, and you can also soak up the sun on the terrace. Still, the experience was mixed. After we ordered the card, we forgot about it for the first time. After 20 minutes and "trying" to ask several times, we received the drinks instead of the menu. Ordering the aperitif then took another 20 minutes. Their delivery another 10-20 minutes. Even after asking several times, we didn't receive the menu until the end (didn't receive it during lunch service). After 90 minutes of waiting and repeated inquiries, we continued hungry.

Wayyy too expensive. Our spritz didn’t even come with snacks. You have better options in Lugano.

I NEVER SAW IN MY LIFE SO MUCH UNEDUCATED PERSON TO SERVE AT THE TABLE. The experience at the bar was disappointing. After ordering a coffee and juice, we waited impatiently for over 45 minutes without receiving anything. Even more frustrating was witnessing another table being served before us, despite placing our order first. The inefficient service completely tarnished the atmosphere and made it challenging to appreciate any positive aspects of the establishment. I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Tessin uneducated.

In rediscovering Lugano, we found Agua, over a year ago, and we just keep coming back! The drinks, the food, the service, and don't forget the view. Are just outstanding. The Agua and Lugano are now our favourite getaway from Schaffhausen. Go and enjoy!

If I were possible, I would have given 0 stars for the service. The waiter named Eugenio is a person who is not educated in this type of work in the slightest. My dish arrived in 2 minutes (obviously reheated, who knows how), piping hot and inedible. To taste and complain about the poor quality, Mr. Eugenio (waiter), wanted to charge me CHF 22 so I wouldn't eat it! Photos in this profile are deceiving.

👎 Waited 15 minutes for 2 Coca Zero, then waited another 15 minutes to pay and the whole fun costs CHF 11.80!! outrageous prices!

Considering that it is a very visible and popular place, the service should be improved, as if you order a cappuccino and a croissant, you cannot have breakfast with both at the same time. I'm sorry but there is always room for improvement. David.

Our day trip to Lugano wouldn’t have been complete if we didn’t stop by here. We had great food and great service! The Risotta and soup was delish!!! And a great view from our table of gorgeous Lake Lugano And our server Claudia was AMAZING! always very attentive to our needs. I am sure she sees tons of tourists like us daily but made us feel very special. Thank you Claudia 👏🏻❤️

Totally uncooked hamburger for 50 usd, honestly the Burger King next door serves way better food. Asked to cook it properly and they brought it back equally uncooked. We also ordered a special, which wasn’t that bad but totally tasteless.

My wife ordered a 0 coke and the waitress brought me a normal coke and tells me she's sure it was a normal coke. It's not for the coke but first and foremost for the customer who is always right.

Food is great. However the location and the fact that they play awfully loud music and did not care to make it even a bit quieter for a client with headache, not even once explaining why is unacceptable. Horrible for stimuli sensitive people.

Rude waitstaff that decided to ignore us. We had to waive down another staff member and asked for a menu. Waited again and waived down same staff member to ask if we could order food with them. Save your time and energy and find a better place that is more inviting and better food.

Nicely furnished place and a stone's throw from the lakefront, it is perhaps among the most expensive among the places in the area. I was once for lunch, for work, and ordered a first course, which was good, and the bread was also good, the bill was a little less. And once for an aperitif. I had ordered lasagna to have traditional dish. I received mushroom vegetarian version with heavy Béchamel sauce. It was over cooked and untasted. The lady looking into out table was not very helpful when i tried to explain that that was not what i had in mind while ordering. Poor quality poor service.

I've been here for an aperitif a couple of times, the first time they brought me the menus and no waiter showed up for about 15 minutes and I left, the second time I had an alcoholic aperitif in company and the only what they brought us was a small bowl of chips, The location is beautiful but beyond that there are places with definitely better service

Very good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious croissants. Waiting time felt a bit too long for a sunny winter day, prices typical for the location.

Great view but is right on the street, so a bit noisy. The restaurant is very nicely furnished and the waiters very polite and attentive. We had appetizers and 2 main courses. Unfortunately, not good in taste and very small portions but quite expensive. I wouldn't eat here again but it's okay to drink something.

Agua is one of my 3 references in Lugano for my aperitifs and meals! In addition to a smiling and super friendly welcome, impeccable and very kind service, the food is quality and creative! Super recommended as a Lugano location

Very nice restaurant/bar for aperitifs, the place presents itself well with a view of the splendid Lake Lugano, very kind waiters who care a lot about the customers, the menu is well stocked with excellent quality fish and meat, in my case the carbonara is not it was very good especially for the Carbo-crema but the spaghetti cacio e pepe flavored with lime and tuna tartare were a delicacy, for the second course we had meatballs with pureed potatoes, tomato, and turnip tops, all for a reasonable price for the place and for the country we are in, I am a traveler so I weigh this price/location ratio thing enough and I assure you that it is absolutely worth it even for an aperitif, good drinks and waiters who know how to advise very well, highly recommended !

Deep disappointment with my breakfast in Lugano. We did not give any importance to the fact that at 10 in the morning there were no more croissants and that no type of vegetable milk or barley coffee was available, we however confidently ordered a homemade pear and chocolate cake, but both slices turned out totally raw inside. Contrary to expectations, both slices were still included in the bill, despite it being pointed out to the kind employee. Sin.

Lugano is a classy Italian speaking resort on the lake and is beautiful. This restaurant the food is good. Worth a meal.

A friend wanted to meet me there and I was half an hour early, so I received a very friendly welcome and was given a nice table outside. The crowd is mixed but it's a bit of see and be seen... I found it delicious to watch. In any case, I find the staff very attentive, competent and super friendly, almost collegial. We received an aperitif platter with the Franciacorta, so I was almost no longer hungry afterwards. We then ordered oysters 🦪, which were very tasty, then tagliolini, later in the evening a bit of cheese with the wines recommended to us by the host... that was high school.. thank you very much. In any case, I would like to come back.

Came here for a morning coffee, very nice experience! The late macchiato was tasty and strong, and their pistachio brioche is something people should try! Nice food with an incredible view on the lake. Recommended!

We‘ve had a great experience at Aqua in Lugano. Friendly and fast service, attentive to details. Food came quickly and was well portioned (side would not have been necessary for us). Can recommend the cold cuts from Ticino, superb quality! Would definitely come back.

Only suitable for having a drink, friendly staff but the quality of the food is not particularly good. It's a shame because we ate very well at the same place about 1.5 years ago. However, these achievements could not be repeated. Pasta much too hard Carbonara sauce only egg yolk and no pasta water and parmesan which would be typical for an Italian carbonara. The pasta with shrimps wasn't convincing either, pasta con tomate was edible but nothing special. The meat dish wasn't convincing either. The best was the Aperol spritz

The positive first: very nice shop in the first row to the lake with a beautiful view! The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. The negative: the dishes are very expensive (the location matters), even in relation to other restaurants in Switzerland/Lugano. And unfortunately they don't really taste that good. We ordered a carbonara and a portion of pasta with mussels and chickpeas. Unfortunately the latter was inedible. The sauce consisted of the juice of the pickled chickpeas, with no real flavor and was just creamy with a grayish color. Unfortunately, the carbonara sauce consisted exclusively of egg yolks. The cheese was missing from the sauce, which we then ordered later. In addition, the pasta was unfortunately a little too al dente. Unfortunately, the oysters we ordered in advance were also of mediocre quality. Conclusion: We recommend a glass of wine to enjoy the view. We wouldn't come back for dinner.

Very nice atmosphere, if you are looking for a place for a good aperitif on the lakeside of Lugano you will not be disappointed. The waiter who served us gave us excellent advice regarding cocktails and some delicious dishes to accompany them. I would definitely stay here again

Cool place especially when Lugano's lake promenade is closed (e.g. Saturday and Sunday evenings). I liked the linguine with scampi so much that I ordered it a second time. This has never happened in recent years. We'll definitely be back!

Too bad we can't give less than one star. Twice in the space of a year I have been alone for a drink in this place, the second time is certainly the last. Slow service (25 minute wait for 4 aperitifs and with occupancy of the other tables at 40%...) rude staff who probably think they are fashionable in the way they respond (when I asked to change a non-alcoholic aperitif because it had 3 midges inside it I I heard him reply “it's protein come on”)….with what you pay you should be ashamed. Aperitifs served with olives without toothpicks (waited for 20 minutes)... now please, I'm waiting for the parac*lo response from the owner who apologizes and explains that they don't usually behave like this. (There's no point in deleting the review, we're already at 6 times 🤡)

This is a nice place to get a bottle of wine and drink at with some friends or a date. Actually, it's perfect for a date! They also close really late: they say that they close whenever people leave. They also speak English. We got a bottle of white wine (pictured below). It was their cheapest, and it was actually pretty good especially if you are younger and you like sweeter (less dry) wines. Our server, Ronald, was amazing!! He was unlike other servers we've had in Switzerland; he was nice and joked with us. Of course, the wines here cost an arm and a leg. But, otherwise, this is an amazing place to go if you don't mind spending > CHF 50 on some wine.

Sunday 5 June 2022, 12.55pm. The place is beautiful and then it faces the lake. We choose it and decide to have lunch outside. The place is cozy and well decorated. The staff is pleasant and smiling. It feels comfortable. The menu is not huge, this is a sign of attention to detail. But there is a good possibility of choice. The dishes we ordered were really excellent. Here they are in detail: large platter with a rich selection of Ticino cured meats and cheeses; almond and coconut prawn tails with pak-choi and bitter orange sauce; lightly seared tuna on vegetable caponata; tiramisu; chocolate flan with a warm heart accompanied by ice cream; espresso. Prices are higher than in Italy. We know, we are in Lugano. No problem. We have been fine. Highly recommended! Hi Agua, maybe we'll see each other again.

Not recommended, spaghetti almost raw and no taste. Very disappointed. The hamburger had gristle in the meat. And also far too expensive. Shame about the money.

Worst carbonara I have ever tasted. Suggestions for the cook: 1. Pasta needed 3 more minutes (use salted water). 2. Uncooked egg yolks alone are insufficient as a sauce; needs salt, black pepper, and cheese (use Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano). 3. Tiny bits of cured pork were flavorless and undercooked. 4. At least one of the ingredients had that bad aftertaste of spending overnight uncovered in the fridge. This is not a dish that works as leftovers. 5. Enroll in a couple semesters of culinary school; these techniques are taught in Foundations of Cooking 101. I was in a very good mood when I walked in; my taste buds left very sad and traumatized.
