The bakery was still open at 6:40 p.m., I went in and the saleswoman rudely said it closed at 7 p.m. but the cash registers were already out, what kind of service is that? It was still full of rolls and cakes and the lady probably wanted to get off work earlier, generally very unfriendly service there but since there is no other bakery in the immediate area, you have no choice

I cannot recommend this bakery. The staff is unfriendly and wanted to get rid of me, my medical assistance dog and my colleague. Only after a phone call with the branch manager, who was also quite unfriendly (who called the staff herself), did I get permission to stay in the bakery, but we had to stay hidden because, according to the staff, the customers might feel disturbed. Unfortunately, there were other excuses as to why I couldn't/wasn't allowed to be in this branch with my medical assistance dog. (The bacon/egg sandwich and the Gritibänz were delicious though)

The bread is good, the location is great and the service is fast. However, the saleswoman could have been a little friendlier to the customers. It was a very unpleasant situation. :(

The bakery is a good size with seating plus a children's play area that is frequently used. The concept adapts to the child-rich area...well done...products have been at a high level for years. Paying without contact is exciting...100% recommended

The croissants are incredibly bad. Like having a lump of dough in your mouth. The braid is of poor quality and completely overpriced! Denner (right next door) can do that better! The Café: The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired...

The saleswoman at the counter wasn't friendly at all and didn't even meet the minimum requirements... :( Unfortunately there was no greeting, no thank you for the purchase and no farewell from her side. I bought a sourdough bread for 12.05 CHF.

On Tuesday I wanted to go to the bakery on Bucheggplatz for coffee with colleagues at 6:30 p.m. When we ordered coffee, the seller said that coffee would only be served until 6:40 p.m., the time was 6:41 p.m. I don't think that's right because we were waiting for you to serve some customers who came before us We are very disappointed. 😔😔😔

Bread is ok but the saleswoman doesn't have the motivation and friendliness in person. She packed the egg sandwich for me in the same bag as the croissants... thank you very much too!

Comment on the Hausamann Bucheggplatz bakery: Completely overwhelmed and unfriendly staff, Zopf is completely overpriced and not worth the price. There is much better braid in the Denner next door for half the price. The behavior of the staff towards customers is absolutely borderline. Once and never again!

We were there for breakfast on a Sunday and ordered two "large breakfasts". There was salmon, salami, cheese, jam of your choice, butter, cappuccino and prosecco... and the best butter plait in the city. The croissants and the wholemeal bread were also perfect. The staff was very flexible. So far I have always been treated kindly by the staff. My favorite is Gabriela, a blonde older lady with a pigtail... so kind and always trying hard. But I'm also friendly as a customer, maybe that's why? And in the evening, after work, we had a crescent salad with a glass of white wine and some crusty bread. There are also fresh eggs and milk for sale, and Sirocco tea. The homemade jam (e.g. plum cinnamon) is also something to kneel down on. It would be nice to have some seating outside in the summer. I hear an employee talking disparagingly about an absent colleague. Guests next to me are discussing among themselves about unfriendly service. I also felt that the service was unfriendly. None of the employees had a positive customer orientation. The quality of the salad with tuna is clearly above average. The two rolls and the fresh Morenkopf too. Only the Kafi crème was average.

I really really like this bakery. The Amaretti are delicious and so are the Gipfeli. The Zopf is a bit pricey indeed but that's it. I don't understand why people complain so much, I've been going there almost every week and I totally recommend this place

Tldr; Was 4 minutes late, tried to call, lady closed the open door in my face despite knowing I came for my order that I had already paid for. Made extremely condescending gestures. Never felt I need to give a bad review until now. I am a regular at the Hausammann Bakery near Rigibahn. I go at least twice a week, usually on my way to the University. I recently installed the to good to go app and paid for a surprise bag (8 CHF) to be picked up. Because I always go to the one near Rigibahn, I thought it was that one. When I was there, they checked my order and told me it's a new store. Funny, this one is actually right around the corner from where I live. I asked her if I could still make it, and she said yes, don't worry, I had until 5.30 pm even though the app said 5.20 pm. I tried to call on the way around 5.15 because I had never been there and was afraid I won't find it in time. Nobody picked up, I kept trying, and I was looking for the bakery, which was not easy to find even with google maps. I arrived 4 minutes late. The door was open, and the lady closed it in my face. She knows what I came for and made some crazy condescending gestures and mouthing words. It takes less than 30 seconds literally because I saw it at the Rigibahn, where a guy came, got that surprise bag, and left within my conversation with the staff there (who is very friendly) explaining how to get to this new store.

Unfortunately, it is nowhere clear that the rolls are more expensive if you buy them at the counter with a coffee. Especially since you bring them to the table yourself. However, the quality of the products is very good.

It's nice that it's open here from 6 a.m.! The breads, rolls and croissants are good and fresh. In my opinion, however, the sandwiches are rather poor in terms of selection at this time and don't look like they are fresh (at least the rolls as the main ingredient are guaranteed to be from the day before). At least the canapés (slices of toast) are good. Unfortunately only 3 stars from me.

Convenient location for the recent branch of the famous pastry shop. There are different types of fresh bread and pastries, of good quality and with fresh products. They are famous for the butter braid which is really soft and tasty. The wholemeal sandwiches are also very good. Table service is available in this restaurant. The staff is not too friendly but still efficient.

Overall a mixed experience. The products themselves are good, although on the more expensive side. The staff is sometimes attentive and friendly, sometimes completely absorbed with any problems so that you don't get noticed - then it's best to just walk out. You don't even notice it. So: there is still a lot of room for improvement in this branch. The potential would actually be there for the district. I think those responsible should spend a day there and see the thing with their own eyes. And: set an example for the enthusiasm and courtesy of the Denner staff.

The slowest bakery in Zurich! Dogs are not allowed, which is a novelty itself in Zurich. I live close by and I’d avoid it if it were possible, but the next bakery is another 15min walk. I pass it by so very often, so I drop by once in a while. My dog has to wait outside of course. Which itself would not be able problem, if this bakery actually had understanding of fast customer service or any service at all. Not only are they unfriendly, you‘d most likely wait 10-15 (at a bakery!!! You get faster service at the post 🙄) to get served. And it’s not for the lack of employees. I‘ve regularly observed three at the same time. But I suppose two like to watch while the 3rd one is taking their sweet time serving customers. Several times I left without ordering as the waiting time was too great. The goods are average, but dearly priced too.

The gentleman who served me (and could have been the manager based on his demeanor) was unfriendly right from the start and didn't even listen to me when I asked to leave out the bag for my only croissant. When I asked him again while paying if I could have the croissant without the bag, he said: "Now it's already in there and I can't use the bag a second time." Not only did I have to take unnecessary rubbish with me, the croissant also turned out to be an underbaked lump of dough. I actually wanted to go back and complain, but given how the customer service was a few seconds earlier, I decided to let it go and simply never go to this bakery again. I can NOT recommend this Hausammann branch!

I love Hausammann as I was living next to their locations at Winkelriedstrasse and Kirche Fluntern and I was delighted to see that they opened a bakery next to my new apartment! Especially knowing that there were no good bakery in the area ! Quality is good and price is fair! Only problem is...one particular staff member, who is rude and antipathic for no particulat reason coming from customers...but the other staff members are nice!

Great place to sit down and work for hours. Some people are complaining about the prices but for me honestly it's worth it. We needed a place like this in the area. I like to come in, get a tea and pastry and work on my laptop. Just remember to get the WiFi code from one of the employees. They don't make you feel uncomfortable and like you need to leave after you're done eating. Have been happy with the service till now. I've only come during the day (late morning-late afternoon/early evening) and it's usually quiet and calm. Also side note: they have a little corner for kids to play with some books and toys.

Super fine connoisseurs Breakfast hani da amene Sunntig gha. The staff is friendly and always caring about the breakfast, which is a nice affair, where we don't know anything. Prislich thinks it’s okay for Zurich. It's a cute play harrow for your child. The only thing missing is a changing table

I've been here 4-5 times, and nothing tastes very good. The sandwiches, pastries, desserts..... all below average. Maybe 6th time is the charm, but really I'm starting to believe nothing is very good at this place.

Incredibly slow waitresses who don't know how good service works and are unprofessional. Too long waiting times for mediocre baked goods that are far too expensive. Then also dog-unfriendly. I would almost say the worst bakery in Zurich.

It's great that there's finally a bakery in the area. Unfortunately, the service is so extremely slow that there are enormous waiting times that are unnecessary. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed. At Bäcker Wüst, Fleischli and Steiner, dogs are allowed in the café.

Finally a Beck in the neighborhood, really great news! The food is delicious, and especially the employee with black hair is very friendly. In and of itself 5*. However: plait 1.85chf à 100gr? This means that a 1kg braid costs 18.50chf, a 500g braid costs 9.25chf... sorry, but that's simply beyond the pale. I shouldn't have to take out a small loan (it feels like) just to buy a braid.

We came to the pastry shop as a family and wanted to sit in the café. We were told, somewhat rudely, that dogs were not allowed. There was no sign or notice anywhere and we are used to dogs being allowed in cafes. So we couldn't sit down in the café and still bought some pastries and drinks. Overall, the service wasn't very friendly and we didn't feel welcome. The pastry tasted okay. Another customer who entered the pastry shop with her dog was not informed that dogs were not allowed, which made us even more suspicious. A pity.

Quite a big offering, several types of products and a nice seating area.
