You wait 2 hours before you get served. Absolutely no go!! Bad service, wrong prices and 1 service for 10 guests. I never object again

There were two of us there and we wanted to share a homemade lemon ginger tea and asked for two glasses. The waitress told us that she was not allowed to hand out glasses because the tea was a takeaway product. But she offered us a glass of tap water so we could get a glass. Where does that make sense? I can't understand. The cheese sandwich was surprisingly good because the apple pieces in the sandwich highlighted the taste positively.

The coffee is too expensive for self-service! And a decko with coffee wouldn't be amiss either. For example a biscuit, almost a must for a confectionery coffee!!!

It's ok for a coffee, but it's self-service and you have to clear the dishes yourself. It's almost like McDonald's. What's still missing is a screen for orders...

For me there is no better bread than a good sourdough bread from Beeler but the employees are a disaster. I have managed branches in the catering and sales sectors for years and these people do not lack talent, but rather a person to manage them. When you come into the store you are left standing for 2 minutes because the employees have to put away the goods, which is completely fine, but there should be a "Hello, I'll come to you immediately" so that you at least feel welcome. I've also eaten there before and the order always took far too long because the employee (who had been employed there for at least 6 months) had no idea where anything was. When it comes to food waste, I think it's great that there are significantly fewer goods when the shop closes, but if I want to buy some bread in the afternoon, there's an 80% chance that there won't be any left and then I'd rather just go straight to the nearby Ängelibeck, which always offers a sufficient selection and can hardly be surpassed in terms of friendliness. The cakes are incredibly good but if you are selling them for more than a day you should make the effort to use new cake paper. This statement is purely speculative, but my husband also received a butter croissant a few months ago, which in my opinion was not fresh but had been thawed. All in all, Beeler has great products and the best bread, but there is a lot of work to be done at the construction sites mentioned. I come almost every day, so I would be happy to see a positive development.

On Thursday at 10.30 no more whole grain croissants and only 1 lye croissant, 2 butter croissants a no go for Beeler. 8/12/23 Unfortunately I have to find out. It would be better to close. A pity

Friendly person who is happy to advise on the wide range on offer. The bakery also has a tea room where you can relax. I can recommend it :)

The Könizer Original Bread is one of the best!

I'm in Bern very often and always come back to the Beeler Bern in Köniz. Staff is very unfriendly, confusing price and products. Ask 2-3 times about the order. I am very disappointed that the staff behaves like this towards the customers. 😑😔

I ordered and paid for an 'apero riche' online for my 60th birthday (Twint). The order has been accepted. When I wanted to pick up the goods at the Köniz store at the agreed time, they were not there. The employee said that the boss was doing this and he was on vacation. She couldn't offer me anything. So at 4 p.m. I was standing there empty-handed and expecting 10 people to come to my party, which then fell through. When I complained to the boss I got no answer, not a word of apology. The amount remained 'blocked' on my account for around 3 weeks and was then released. No more Beelers! The owner doesn't seem to need it. I had to give it the star to be able to post this, Beeler deserves -5 stars

Went there for brunch on Sunday, it was chaotic and no organization. Nothing was refilled at the buffet, we had to ask for glasses of orange juice or soft drinks, there was no butter there either, we ordered coffee and got it black without sugar or coffee cream, at my request sugar was given but the coffee cream had run out, they had to go first Get a new box of coffee cream, which took a while. Then we ordered another glass of champagne but that had just run out. So it wasn't a relaxed atmosphere for brunch because you always had to chase after things that didn't exist. I think we should finally react now and change something with a name like that. I also noticed that I never get any feedback back from the boss. It's time to get a better handle on organization. Where is the leadership and direction?

Too few and overwhelmed staff, long waiting times. Brunch wasn't replenished. Prosecco wasn't delivered again until we left after 3 hours! It's a shame the boss should get involved.

The Saint Honoré cake is absolutely amazing and I give it to our team on my birthday (2x12 cake - price CHF 150.-). I had it delivered - it was delivered later than ordered, but it was still just enough. I paid for the cakes in the store long beforehand. After delivery, our company's accounting department received another invoice for the same amount - even though I ordered this privately. I contacted you several times by email and also asked by phone - but never received an answer. The cake is great - the service (customer contact) is a disaster. This shouldn't be that difficult. A pity.

Given its good reputation, we visited this confectionery around Christmas time. After we had seated ourselves at the table, the employees walked around us for about 10 minutes without reacting. Now we went to the counter to ask about an order. "It's self-service here" ... ok, that would be good if you didn't get the information for 10 minutes. In general, the quality of the egg roll and the half-warm Cafe Macciato was not at all good. Never again!

I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk - it cost over CHF 5.- and "since the milk doesn't froth up" they simply poured cold milk into the coffee. Very disappointed because the store looks very nice inside and out. Unfortunately, the employees weren't that friendly either.

Not recommendable!! The prices are more than exorbitant. Unfriendly staff and also very poorly organized, shopping for Sunday bread can take an hour.

The Buttersilserli was rock hard. The tea selection is very modest and the tea cups have probably long since passed their peak. Maybe we should remember Beeler's heyday and work towards it. Back then, the name Beeler was still a seal of quality.

We had reserved for brunch. When we were there, no table was reserved for us. After moving around twice, we were finally able to stay seated. Nobody cared about us. We had to ask everything ourselves. The choice of food was very limited. It's a shame, it was the last time we were there.

The staff has no idea about sales and they have no control over the prices. Never again!

Long waiting times, too few staff and overwhelmed and unfriendly staff who don't get pre-orders organized in a timely manner. It's better to take 20 steps and go to the competition instead of wasting your scheduled breaks waiting because you definitely didn't eat in the break time available to you.

Good and fine products in themselves. The Sunday brunch on Mother's Day was chaotic and disorganized, but according to one employee, it was "ridiculously cheap." As already written here, the staff is very rude and absolutely not customer-oriented. Criticism by email and telephone is not responded to, not even by the boss, Mr. Beeler. Clearly can't handle criticism. I will avoid Beeler from now on and have also suggested this to my relatives.

Good products but I'm afraid the service is unfriendly. No merci, no farewell, no nice weekend and the hatred of humanity was written on the waitress's face. Was definitely my last visit.

I love the goods from this confectionery! The Truffles chocolates and cakes etc. are so delicious!

Unfortunately, the service was pretty clueless and not very accommodating. We just wanted to have breakfast and had to get all the information out of the waitress's nose; there didn't seem to be a map/overview or anything similar. The food was OK, but I would probably go to another restaurant for the next breakfast.

Really very good products. The prices are correspondingly high. The operation is rather slow to very slow. Unfortunately I also have no idea about the products. This, as well as lukewarm tea water in half-full cups every now and then, definitely doesn't get 5 points. It would be worthwhile to hire employees who know what they are selling.

A bit less bad than in Spitalgasse. The staff there is friendlier, but I also have the feeling that they are overwhelmed and work extremely slowly. The advantage there compared to Spitalgasse is that you can order and pick up the goods yourself at the counter and thus avoid the incompetent and unfriendly service like in Bern. Products are top. But what generally comes to mind when I hear the name Beeler..."The fish stinks from the head"...a general leadership problem there.

Very tasty nut croissants and great bread!! The sandwiches, on the other hand, are very rubbery and that's why I think they're overpriced. There is a deduction especially for the unfriendly, sometimes unmotivated service. They can also quickly become overwhelmed when it comes to service. An employee once couldn't remember 4 things and I had to correct her twice while packing the goods and repeat myself a total of 4 times. That makes me seem very incompetent.

Bad service / empty promises In January I ordered through the gingerbread generator. When I wanted to pick it up, the employee said it wasn't done. Wanted to put me off until the next day... Everyone deserves a second chance, right? Ordered personalized gingerbread again in March, wanted to pick it up for a surprise party - nothing there (even though I called 3 times the day before that it had to be ready on time at 9am tomorrow).. yes yes.. told me it would be at 10.30 at the latest Milk crate would be delivered...I didn't believe it at all. Went to the beeler again, yes it still needs to dry?!? Why didn't you tell me this before? He delivered it at 11:40 a.m. Was still raw!!! In any case, the surprise fell through...after about 10 phone calls and a lot of nerves Wrote a complaint email - no response Again - the boss reported that he would refund the money. 3 weeks have passed - no money. No response to another email = Beeler service If you don't want to go without a cake or a gift, choose another bakery. At least as good... I'm probably not the only one, according to reviews...

Fine baked goods and confiserie!

Always happy, very good bread and a nice selection of confectionery products.

I once ordered several plates of sweet pieces in writing from Beeler in Köniz for a farewell party and had them definitely confirmed. When I went to pick up the records, nothing was ready and they improvised the records with the pieces they still had in the counter (not really fresh). The plates were then delivered late. Last but not least, a few days later the invoice was issued to another colleague (wrong address), who probably still worked in the Beeler directory at the same location. Awkward! I've been avoiding this confectionery ever since.

We ordered gingerbread for the company with a personalized dedication as a Christmas present to the employees. Beautiful packaging, 25 individual inscriptions for 25 delicious gingerbread cookies, great delivery, easy ordering via the website.

the service is extremely slow. Every time someone new is there, it gets even slower. The last time I was charged 11.80 instead of 10.50 for the salad with corn "in-house". The Italian sauce has been made mainly of oil for some time now... I guess I forgot about the vinegar... Salad with salmon is otherwise very tasty. Price/performance but lousy.
