To celebrate my partner's birthday, and already knowing some products from the Pultau chocolate bakery, I confidently ordered a magnificent celebration cake. My choice fell on a chocolate duo and my hopes were largely rewarded. The creation was splendid and the flavors were there. I chose the solution of on-site collection on a Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m., very practical, and the welcome, faithful to my memories, was cordial and professional. I will not mention the price of this service in the rest of the review because it was a gift, but the quality-price ratio is completely reasonable given the quality of the whole thing. In addition, a very pretty chocolate bar with the birthday inscription was free of charge. Customer for several years for the delicious croissants and other morning pastries as well as for the succulent and original creations during the Easter and end-of-year celebrations, without forgetting the Pitivier for the feast of the kings, I can only highly recommend all epicureans to make a visit to these places. By far the best pastry chef around! A single store: which provides impeccable quality. The flavors, visual and taste offerings are unique, refined and wonderful on the palate. I come on purpose by bus or on foot from Morges! Congratulations to K.Pultau.

Our little village bakery is so much more than that. They have at least 3 different gluten-free cakes that look and taste amazing. Lunchtime they serve a delicious and healthy lunch, and have many kinds of bread and pastries. A must!

The croissants are delicious but unfortunately the service is to be desired… The waiters are not pleasant and in bad faith. Not offering a glass of water with your coffee is completely unacceptable, in fact it costs money. Despite the fact that the croissants are good, I will not return there and I do not recommend this establishment at all.

I went there twice, the first time it was a rather pleasant experience, good food and the hot chocolate was very good, apart from the glass of water thing. Second time, I noticed that the service was super slow and I had to repeat the order twice because the waitress had forgotten it. The atmosphere is very nice, the only thing that needs to be changed in my opinion is that if you make a comment about the food (I was simply curious enough to ask if the pains au chocolat were frozen because crust on the pastries) it would be quite nice to listen to the customer and not get directly defensive. Because once again, it is the customers who bring you your salary.

We are regular Sunday morning customers. We come regularly for the pastries which are excellent. We have already communicated this message to the staff but we would like the pastry shop to make adjustments for the future if possible. The bahia was better compared to the opera. Considering that someone who is gluten intolerant has a limited supply, it's nice to pay attention to this niche market and above all I won't change something that is good. The hot chocolate was the best we had ever tasted and it was the only one worth taking away from home. The one taken this morning lacked chocolate and was more like something you could make at home for less. Normally I would have given it 4 stars out of 5. I hope that at least the hot chocolate will return to its glory on the next visit. For bahia we know that it is a choice of supply and not a change in quality. The opera is good but the bahia was exceptional.

I would like to apologize for the lack of detail in my previous review. The three stars were actually a memo to myself, so I wouldn't forget to write a more comprehensive review later. I went there because it was recommended to me. I had breakfast and opted for pain au chocolat. To be honest, he wasn't exceptional. The butter taste was a little too strong for my liking, which ruined the whole dining experience for me. However, it is important to note that the service and ambiance were just fine. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I can imagine that maybe it was just a bad day pastry-wise, so I'm willing to give this establishment another chance. I will return to try other options and see if my initial experience was an exception.

How was I able to live for so many years just a few minutes from this welcoming, accessible place which offers a range of quality products without going in and sitting there?! Too bad because in my opinion the pastries are perfectly balanced, beautiful, elaborate and at a completely reasonable price. The same goes for the other products offered. Pultau has friendly and smiling staff. Keep going!

Without a doubt they know how to make delicious pastries. On the other hand, for my part, the welcome is not good and the weekend schedules for the villagers are frustrating.

What to say ? just perfect and excellent! This was my first purchase from this pastry shop and it lived up to my expectations. I had a very cordial telephone contact with excellent advice, I was able to pay for my purchase directly online and the icing on the cake if I dare say, the birthday cakes ordered were delivered to a local restaurant , what service. Taking CHF 20.- worth of pastries and drinks and being refused a full glass of water under the pretext that you have to pay from 1 dl, this is unheard of and unacceptable. Practices have changed a lot in recent times. The very pleasant place (free parking nearby, bus stop, surrounded by greenery, the coffee is good, "Le Temps" ...) especially the terrace despite construction in progress. Unfortunately, the welcome and service could be better. The new waitresses are not up to par, ignore new arrivals and don't remember what the customer ordered. Disappointing and particularly unpleasant service, proud and unfriendly staff (evening 10/18; this person as usual). Every time you enter this bakery you feel like you're disturbing. I really feel like I'm bothering and feel snubbed. Reading the other comments I don't think I'm an isolated case. Additionally, other acquaintances have expressed the same feeling to me. I'm sure the owners put a lot of effort into making the products, but the service and the way they talk to customers ruins all the hard work behind it. In addition, "la badia" has changed (poorly cooked cream, poorly cooked; ...since August...), does not have the same taste, I no longer buy it. I would like to have the service by a person like Natasha Filippi. Once the door is opened - it immediately - Hello, welcome. Natural affability. Attention to people who are not French speakers (adaptation and help). Loyal customers feel welcome. She remembers what makes customers happy. At the end of your visit she would say Goodbye, thank you, look forward to it. I would love to have the same welcome. If you once made an incognito visit, you could convince yourself. It's super good but practices have changed a lot lately... The prices charged are no longer the prices displayed (not legal). A sandwich displayed at 5.70 sold at 5.90. The raisin breads lost more than 30% of volume for the same price...

Pastries: Well designed, carefully crafted flavors. Limited offer. Delightful and reasonably priced. Bread: Not good. It's worth walking 2 min to the epicerie nearby for good quality bread. Coffee: Subpar but tolerable. Service: Correct. However, most of the staff have poor to no English skills, and not much interest in making it easier to foreigners. Family friendliness: They have attachable child seats to set up on the chairs. Most of the staff won't help / don't know how to set them up though. Not a big deal for most parents anyway. Tap water: No free water (recent change). They charge CHF 3 for a 75cl bottle of filtered tap water. A free glass comes with any coffee order, if you ask for it. They refused to serve a second (free) one for my thirsty 2 year old. This should be illegal. I had to buy the bottle. Costumer relations: Very poor. I posted a review here complaining about the water issue and (pettily) attached a picture of the only time I've seen a fly on a bakery product (now removed). They confronted me on site the next time and completely ruined the afternoon snack with my son. CHF 15 to be publicly admonished, I can't recommend. Connectivity: Very poor WiFi that drops often and does not connect at all once there are a few users. Almost no tables with power outlets. Poor mobile network coverage inside.

By far one of best boulangerie in the area. The pain au chocolat is the star of the show for me, so buttery with a delicious homemade chocolate. The brioche au sucre are also amazing, indeed often a boring item, here they are elevated to a delicate work of art and you can literally not stop after you are one. The brioche praline is also amazing. In terms of cake, the chocolate dome is one if the best cakes you will find in the area

My first bakery_pastry shop arrived in St Sulpice. And I was not disappointed. The service was pleasant. They are warm. The dishes are fresh and delicious. I was surprised to discover a bakery of this quality in a small village. Clearly to come back.
