A great Latin restaurant close to Lausanne Cathedral. Everything was very good and the welcome was perfect!

Nice gastronomic trip for my birthday thanks to my husband's surprise: the meals, the waitresses, the owner, the setting made me feel the energy of my beautiful Colombia. Las empanadas de carne, los bollitos de yuca a real delight! La bandeja paisa and el churrasco like at home! Now we know that if we want to go to Latin America, two hours are enough. Muchas gracias equipo Cuba Libre, you have touched our palate and our heart.

Average service, the dish was good but limited in quantity, a little rice would not have been too much. normal prices, quiet atmosphere.

A very warm place and good service

I don't recommend this restaurant at all! The service is terrible! They don't have the slightest idea how to run a restaurant! We ordered a soup that who knows how it would be made, since my husband had a bad stomach for two days. The women who served put their fingers in their mouths and sucked them. Very unpleasant. I saw how they asked to bring what was left over from a plate and the woman who was putting it in the container licked her fingers. When we ordered the second dish, they brought one and half an hour later the other. The dishes are served at the same time, because the diners all eat at the same time If you don't know how to run a restaurant, it's better not to get into a business like that. And the prices, not to mention, do not correspond to how bad the food is and the terrible service.

The food is extremely good, the portions are generous (come on an empty stomach). The staff is smiling and warm. This restaurant can be a great discovery for anyone who wants to know some Latin specialties, the menu is varied, there is something for everyone. Yesterday I tasted for the first time a hamburger with 'patacon' instead of bread, and without a doubt it was delicious, a change from the traditional burguer with magical tastes. Great time and a delicious experience. Would come back.

I loooove that place! Beside their ways to welcome you, the food is Delicious and and team is soooo Family oriented! It just feels home when you are far from your motherland. The owner is really gentle and nice, always kind and the must is that one Saturday a month they have a great music show that makes you feel disconnected from any other places of this city. Beautiful menu with lots of dishes that take you on a journey. For all tastes. Generous plates, well served, fast, attentive and considerate service.

In the top ! An authentic experience both in terms of the atmosphere in the restaurant and the cuisine and dishes prepared. The staff is super friendly, we eat well and the prices are very reasonable, especially given the large quantity served! I highly recommend 💙

Please note: the menu consists almost exclusively of fried foods and entry-level meats. In addition, we had a non-alcoholic cocktail which cost us 16.- (!), the price of an alcoholic cocktail in the city center of Lausanne. No discussion possible. Add to this that with a bill at 100.- for 2, a non-alcoholic cocktail at 16.- and 2 bottles of 0.5L sparkling water at 5.50 (i.e. 11.-/L!), a carafe of water in End of meal was refused to us: “we only serve bottles”. Very disappointed, because fundamentally, the potential to have a restaurant worthy of the name is there if better exploited. In the meantime, I advise against it.

The atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. A restaurant to recommend, but book before going, especially on weekends, it is very popular.

The restaurant seems overrated to me. The equipment is cheap, the kitchen is ok but no surprises. Almost no dessert (flan or scoop of ice cream), notably no Cuban dessert. We refuse to give a carafe of water to customers who consume other drinks (first time this has happened to me, in any country!). The bill is very steep, however, and I don't feel like it was really worth it. Moreover, even if it is a detail, the prices on the cards are indicated as a child would do (eg. 15.50.-), which does not seem serious. Good points; the waitress was smiling and friendly and the service was quick. The cocktails were really very good.

As a group of 4 adults and 2 children we were delighted to discover this restaurant with no issues - friendly stuff,tasty food (if you prefer vegetarian food it's also possible and you're leaving with full belly), Spanish language all over, highly recommend if you want to enjoy food&atmosphere typically Cuban.
