Very good products. Bad idea for self-service, no toilets in the building! Staff not friendly especially at the end of the day. I won't go anymore!

On Sunday, October 30, 2022, we wanted to have a fine dessert with coffee in the D. Burkhard bakery and pastry shop at around 3 p.m. We are five neat young people in our thirties with a very well-behaved Flat-Coated Retriever lady. There was no dog ban on the door and yet we were turned away from the bakery in a very unfriendly manner. We won't be coming here again.

Not a top bakery in terms of taste and staff. Sometimes there is a lot of butter in the patisserie. I can only confirm the review, which says that the staff at this bakery group is known to be unfriendly. Was often a regular guest in Lyss and occasionally in Aarberg and Schüpfen. Now support other local bakeries with friendlier staff.

I go to this bakery a lot, even though the staff is very snippy and often even unfriendly. But that's nothing new, this branch is known for it. I've been getting the croissants here every Sunday morning for years BUT on December 1st, 2019 they were significantly smaller than usual. Which is really embarrassing, because the price is of course the same. Of course the croissants still taste great BUT they were dry and crumbly. I think I'll definitely look for something else now.

We were there to celebrate a birthday with brunch. Everything went well and everything was ready as agreed. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating; we felt very welcome and comfortable. Gladly again!
