D! Club in Lausanne

The music is nice but the people don't dance and just move around which prevents me from dancing because I keep getting pushed around. And there's no place where I can just dance! 😡 I haven't been here for years and I won't come back for several years! Very disapointed

Last LCMA as a dab, the sounds of the gems of the time, thanks to the 2 djs of the evening 💯, I hadn't been back for a long time but shocked to discover NO DECOR in connection with the theme of the evening, it's a real shame🙁 that was all its charm before. I will come back anyway🤪

Quite honestly, I'm just disappointed with what the techno evenings at the D are becoming! This genre has fascinated me for over 10 years and despite the excellent programming at D!, the audience is just disastrous. I had never seen a single fight in techno and now by letting anyone in the evening becomes an ordeal. Maybe a selection at the entrance would be good instead of wanting to cram people into a cage without being able to manage them. To meditate.

Thank you very much to the D who took the time to take care of my girlfriend and me when we were unwell, unfortunately it is rare for security to be personally concerned about the state of the customers, a big thank you again!!

Too crowded as always but still a pleasant evening.

It’s a shame, the club is nice but so many people that dancing becomes impossible, difficult to breathe. The music upstairs in the bar hurts the ears because the treble is so loud.

3am, still no main artist... we go out, the security guard jumps at our throats. It seems that we exited through the Guest entrance even though nothing is indicated. I would like to point out that there is then no Guest waiting, nor anyone in the normal queue.

The programming is great and I've always had great electro evenings there, a really cool atmosphere! My favorite DJs are often there ;) I made a comment in 2022 to the organization regarding the lack of hygiene in the toilets, and since then there has been a real effort, with a person monitoring and cleaning throughout the evening, thank you!

Sound system at the top for electro and techno, pleasant and flexible security even when you have drunk too much, afterwards like everywhere you don't overdo it and put the bronx on and everything goes well. Public also at the top at least in electro evening

The music in general is good, the attendance is not catastrophic the staff in general are rather welcoming and helpful but the VIP tables are a disaster, no barriers which allows people to cross right in the middle of the "vip" square, place their empty glasses on the tables, touch and disturb the girls who are enjoying their evening at the table and sometimes even spend their evenings standing on the supposed vip square... Given the price of the table I find that distressing to be so poorly installed and having to be squeezed like a sardine can... Hoping for a change in the infrastructure or a reduction in the price of the tables

Nice place but deserves better bass given the quality of the artists

Really bad when it’s time to use the WC! The toilets are small and in not enough number it’s the worst of this club for real. Long waiting lines to use them who makes the whole experience bad. You go out 3 or 4 hours and half of that is waiting in line, or waiting for your friend who went to pee… A lot of people inside and hardly to move around. Expensive as well. Paid 35CHF only to enter plus the drinks inside for a night I can’t move around or go to the toilet without taking a waiting of half an hour. The sound volume started ok but by the end of the night was absurdly loud! They should give/sell earplugs for the ones who forget. The music type was good. The layout of the disco isn’t good. A lot of ups and downs, stairs to go to the toilet down and up, and back to the stage. Is like a labyrinth. Feel they need a major renovation. It gets very warm inside. You see a lot of men’s without shirt and sweating all over.

A friend was not feeling well. The waiter refused to give us a glass of water. The water in the toilets is always hot. Truly an aberration to force people to buy a bottle of water.

The d is great, the world is cool and the music is good especially on Friday 😉

Large club with 2 dance floors and additional levels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. Great sound quality on the lower floor! Drinks a bit expensive.

I went to the D!Club on Saturday June 17 and I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome given by the security agents! Whether at the ABC or the D, everyone welcomed me and my friend, with a big smile. Bravo to you for having put in place agents who are physically impressive but who remain smiling and welcoming human beings! See you soon

Very respectful, top security service

The sound and programming are good, however there is a real problem with the security team. It even becomes heavy and unhealthy as time passes during the evening. I have frequented a few clubs in Europe and I must admit that on this point, I have never seen this. (Have an evening at the Nordstern in Basel for example and you will see that security can be tactful and respectful of everyone, all while ensuring a perfect security service. This is an example, but many others achieve it also, so why not you?)

It's a great club in terms of decor and definitely good with the right music at the right event, but we probably got the wrong music for us. There were a lot of people who liked it, but it wasn't for us. Everyone as they like!

Much too selective place for a “techno” club very disappointed with the bouncers and their welcome… I don’t recommend going there

Very nice club overall. Unfortunately I am forced to leave this note because of the establishment's water policy. The water is deliberately hot in the toilets to force customers to buy bottled water at 8 CHF / Liter. After purchasing 4 bottles of water during an evening at the bar, the bartender refuses to refill them with tap water once consumed. Even if we want to recommend more. In the comments, the D! Club claims to distribute water from 5:00 a.m.... It's very restrictive if you want to dance and exercise on the dancefloor. I completely understand that you cannot bring your own water bottle for security reasons. But in my opinion, once a plastic bottle has been purchased, you should be able to freely fill it at the bar or in the toilets with running water. Because not only is this policy against the well-being of customers, it is also an ecological aberration. Heating such a quantity of water and selling so many plastic bottles (0.5 liters max) is a waste of energy. Given that it takes 50Wh just to produce each plastic bottle without counting embodied energy, I think the question is timely.

I am answered curtly: “we are not a festival, we don’t have a program. » Um, sorry but all the other clubs or parties put a schedule line up concerning the artists and their appearance! (Organizational concerns because if we work on Saturday, and who doesn't live in Lausanne itself..) Anyway, I explain that I need to know if it’s midnight or 3 a.m. when the main DJ is coming and I’m told “oh you’re going to be tired anyway, he won’t be coming early in the evening. » “Ok no worries thanks for the info still have a nice day. :) » (Me) and they hang up on me I barely had time to finish the word day.. What is this mess !? Are you familiar with friendliness or do you only have people who fall asleep during the day? Because even me, who is not mentally at the top, politeness is the least I can do! If you don't agree to see that you can improve at the organizational level, it's a shame because you can lose a lot of customers.. any institution, business must evolve according to demand.. This club is a complete waste of money. Just crackies and the same song all the time.

They are able to bring up the best selection of techno DJ's but unfortunately the club is terrible. Whenever there is a good party, it is excessively crowded. They just let everyone in. Going to a bathroom (there is only one) or buying a drink is almost impossible. No place to sit or rest. The venue feels like 20 years ago. They recently updated their light park and added some screens but it is still very old school. Maybe better to turn the screens off than broadcast rotating stone or screensaver on it during a main show, what a joke. The sound system also deserve an upgrade. Overall, great artistic management, but bad venue.

Clearly the best club in Lausanne, very good atmosphere and very aesthetically beautiful. On the other hand, the toilets are always a bit sad and there isn't much space for queuing, same problem for the wardrobe.

Terrible service at the bar with extreme long waiting... Highly impractical door policy - when you go out of the club, you cannot go in anymore. So disappointing experience, because they have really good djs from time to time.

We got kicked out 30 minutes after getting in because a drunk guy ran into us because he was pushed around. We paid 25.- for nothing and the bouncers are, for the most part, very angry so it's impossible to communicate. I won't go back there.

never book a loung here. twice N extremely terrible experience. menu is never available only the possibilities that make more money for them. security is always extremely rude. this friday we had a min consumption of over 2k CHF. staff was very rude didn’t prepare our order because they said it would just not possible to precook our order. once again out of pure laziness…. Staff absolutely rude. House keys were stolen from a private lounge, because staff is too busy to not check the lounge access. Money printing machine without any service….

Place too expensive for the services it offers, entrance 25.- without any drinks or cupboard included, one drink 18.- and the place is dirty as well. On top of that the staff is rude and the security very aggressive.

The D club is a nice place with a good atmosphere inside depending on the evening. However, the bouncer I encountered at the entrance found himself obnoxious and aggressive. Once we entered, we noticed that a friend of ours had been refused entry. I wanted to chat with her to find out how she was getting in and instead of asking us to move away from the entrance (because we were a bit in the way, I admit), the bouncer violently pushed my friend into him saying to get out. I had already been warned that the bouncers were very aggressive there because they knocked one of my friends to the ground a few months ago, in any case, I won't set foot there again because I don't like it. you don't feel safe.

No PQ or soap in the girls' toilets at the start of the evening. I had to ask. 11:30 p.m. no more beer on tap at 7frs. I had to take bottled beers for 9frs. Too much waiting, 2 girls serving, they deserve everything. Not even possible to get tap water at the bar. It's a shame. Otherwise a full and friendly club like Lausanne, not very sociable. All this during concerts. Vitalic in this case. Outdoor course to breathe a little oxygen or smoke of pitiful size. No ashtray and I imagine that everything is swept into the sewers...

The security service is extremely aggressive. I wanted to wait with my friend, because she was pushed aside at the entrance (we didn't have any bottles of alcohol with us). The social worker pushed me towards the entrance, refusing to let me stay near her, before shouting at me "don't worry, we'll happily take care of your girlfriend". Where do you find these fellows?

Service 0. Reservation for more than 450.- we immediately chase you from your table as soon as the bottle is finished? disgusted yet celebrating a birthday they ruined our evening. I RECOMMEND NOT taking a table there.

We had a very bad evening due to security lacking training and communication with customers who were basically very poorly polite and very aggressive. Not recommended.

The D Club is quite simply the best nightclub in French-speaking Switzerland. The club is very well managed, the musical programming is rich and varied. The general atmosphere is joyful and we always have a great evening there. I highly recommend.

Very large nightclub which accommodates a lot of people + an outdoor bar next to the nightclub! But sometimes there can be too many people which leads to very tight spaces for dancing in the club!!!

A deplorable organization, very unclear entry conditions which led to the refusal of entry to certain people in our group, who ultimately paid not to return, no action, at least a refund, truly catastrophic! The worst being the 2 security guards who had to be recruited 2 days before, providing no explanation for their decisions because, I quote, "we don't have time", attacking us to the point that the person in charge of the searches apologized for their behaviors (hitting a woman's bag, seriously?). The COVID period must have been particularly difficult but that's not how you're going to get your customers back.

A DEPLORABLE organization last night... I send a message on their FB to ask how much the entry is (price which was not indicated anywhere) and in their response, they tell me to come at 11 p.m. to be sure of having a ticket. We drive for over an hour and arrive right on time. Once you arrive, they open at 11:30 p.m. and security lets pre-renters in first. And there the beginning of the chaos, 5 security guards to bring in a person every 5 minutes while people without pre-rentals are put first in a right-hand line, then behind the barriers. 1 a.m., still 200/300 people with pre-rentals waiting in line forever. There was a showcase that evening, those who had paid in advance (40.-) mostly missed the appearance of the long-awaited artist.

I find it strange that in dreams in the forest everyone wears a mask while in a club where people are crowded together no one wears one! I like going to your club but you are shooting yourself in the foot and the orderly closure like in Geneva is never far away. I always come masked with my loved ones and we can drink very well masked. So even if some people are not necessarily going to play the game, a firm recommendation at the entrance with a free distribution... like in raves would not break an oyster.. What do you think TW? Disco in the center of Lausanne. It generally opens from Thursday evening to Saturday evening. The nightclub has 3 floors with different musical genres. Mainly techno evenings are organised.

Club size good. Great music system, but the price for the drinks is too high...

Place is horrible, really overcrowded, crappy overpriced drinks and full of sweaty annoying teenagers. Go somewhere else if you are 20+
