Best lasagne in Zurich with the friendliest staff.

The restaurant itself is very nice. That's it already. When I asked the waiter which dish was the highlight here, he couldn't even look me in the eyes or inspire enthusiasm in me because it wasn't him himself. At the end I had a pizza. Taking the order and the waiting time were simply far too long. In addition, wine glasses and cutlery that you do not need for your meal were not put away. I didn't see any real service. However, they tried hard. That has to be said. The pizza is way too big and honestly, I've had much better pizzas in Zurich. The waiter wasn't exactly great either and if you're then asked if you've paid even though you've already been cashed in and given a tip, then I don't want to go there again. Nice restaurant or not. You can spend your money much better.

We have been visiting the restaurant regularly for 15 years. We have always appreciated the warm family atmosphere of the restaurant. Unfortunately, this has been disappearing more and more in recent years. Our last visit was a total disappointment. The guest service is in overdrive, the waiters are completely overwhelmed, everything had to be reminded several times. There is NOTHING left of the warm family atmosphere!

The gelato shop next of the restaurant was good. The gelato in Zurich was mostly creamy and bit heavy but this is the Italian gelato what I know! Happy to find here.

The food was very tasty. When the weather was nice we could even sit outside, which was right next to the street. We were there as a large group and were served very quickly and nicely. They had a large selection of pizzas and various Italian specialties.

It's very, very clean, the food is great, the service is great, they also sang for a small town. If you're ever in Switzerland, you have to go there, I can only recommend it 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Rarely have I had such good spaghetti mare. Pizzas unfortunately rather weak. Little toppings. Artichokes were woody. Staff very nice. Unfortunately it is very loud in the restaurant. You can hardly have a conversation. Reservation absolutely necessary. Parking spaces are in short supply, which means there is a lot of search traffic in the narrow area. Price performance is right.

I had the opportunity to eat at Da Michelangelo and try the Rimini pizza. I have to say the food was fantastic! The pizza was freshly made and had a perfect balance of cheese, sauce and toppings. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too. It was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and stylish furnishings. The service was friendly and attentive and I felt very comfortable during my stay. Overall, I had a great experience at Da Michelangelo and I plan to return soon. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere.

Good pizza, well cooked, friendly waiter, generous portions, fresh ingredients. I didn't like the paper tablecloths, nor the napkins. Seating is really very narrow.

We recommend. A wonderful Italian restaurant in the middle of Zurich. Great ambience with a fountain in the dining room and a view of the pizzaiolos where the pizzas are freshly baked in the oven. I've been coming here for over 2 years and I'm really happy every time! The food is without exception delicious. I've tried quite a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is attentive, familiar and warm - regardless of whether there were just two of us or twelve of us who came to eat. You can also simply take the pizza with you and enjoy it at home. My absolute favorite Italian!

The building Aemtlerhalle is historical protected and well maintained. The restaurant is big but cozy enough and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I'd love to see some more vegan options (specially on the card 🌱)

Italy in Zurich, we made a menu

Super rude waiter who said I was being childish after contesting my order when having dinner with my family. Shocked that he couldn’t remain professional and keep the thought to himself. I was disappointed with my focaccia order from the “Aktuell” menu because I was expecting the usual fluffy and thick bread like Italian focaccia but was served flat cooked pizza dough. We then spoke with the manager who was very professional, understanding and sympathetic and provided me with a new dish. He clearly understands the importance of customer service and experience.

Fine food, really Italian and the price and performance ratio is right, fine generous lunch menu, very family friendly, always free dessert for everyone on Friday and always free ice cream for children, also a highlight!
