Dächli in Arth

There is a small fridge with drinks for self service, payable via Twint or cash. Unfortunately Twint wasn't working, so only option was cash. Beer, soft drinks and an alcohol free panache was on offer. Beautiful view, got a bit chilly when the sun went behind the hill.

The two of us had a great experience! Cozy ambiance, nice owner, located a bit off the beaten track, good selection of drinks, good portions, excellent high quality food but a small selection. (only food options are an Entrecôte or Schnitzel with 🍟 and vegetables/carrots). It’s also possible to have a salad upfront. It’s a one man show, the restaurant is traditional and only accessible by foot from a few different places. It’s only open on the weekends, Friday evening until Sunday and can accommodate up to 50 guests. Making a reservation in advance is advisable! If you like to eat a good piece of meat and some yummy fries in a cozy “alpine” restaurant, give it a try. It also has a little terrace outside and the view on a nice day is also wonderful. No credit cards are acceptable, TWINT and Cash only. You won’t be disappointed and the price for what you pay for can’t be beaten! Personally, I will definitely return.

The drink can be taken out of a small refrigerator and money can be paid in a can.

That is the place what like the most :) Long distances not much demanding hiking paths.
