Daisuki in Lausanne

Very nice, quiet little restaurant, the tables are not pushed against each other. The waiters are good at explaining the dishes you want to eat. Very good traditional cuisine. My compliments to the entire Daisuki team.

Very good vegetarian ramen! A great discovery, with not necessarily a parking space. Very welcoming staff and available for explanations. A bit noisy when there are a lot of people.

Sincerely disappointed. We ordered a vegetarian ramen and a chicken but neither dish had any taste. The eggs were not cooked “ramen style” they literally looked like “hard-boiled eggs” from Migros. We added a lot of soy sauce to the broth because it was sorely lacking in flavor. We wonder if they were out of salt 😅 the only positive point: the staff.

First time dining here. Was an enjoyable dinner. Some menu items not available but service was warm and welcoming. Would prefer they stick to just Korean cuisine as it will really be different then. Ask for the tteokbokki, it’s not on the main menu but really nice. Wine list is short and not correct glasses for red wine. Yuzu panaché was nice. Overall great Korean food and ambience .Will dine again.

I was really disappointed with this restaurant. I had ramen which was bland and gyoza which was not good. I find the price to be excessive for such average quality. This is the worst restaurant I have eaten in in Lausanne.

Small restaurant a little hidden but worth the detour. Having eaten bibimbaps I really liked the fact that you can gauge the spicy sauce and the kimchi is the best I have tasted. The yuzu gives a certain extra bitterness to the beer and also gives a pleasant citrus taste. Restaurant to come and taste

I tried the pork ramen, despite some negative reviews, wanting to form my own opinion. I regret having to join the general opinion (recent at least), according to which this ramen is, quite frankly, rather mediocre. For comparison, it is much more expensive and significantly less good, and plentiful, than that of Doki Doki, one of the Lausanne references in my opinion. Both the recipe and the price must therefore be reviewed. It’s a shame, because the team is friendly, and other items on the menu like the gyozas and mochis were of good quality.

The waitress was more than friendly, the ramen was very good.

I took the pork ramen with pork supplement and egg supplement and here is my opinion: The broth has a somewhat neutral taste. For me it lacks flavor. (Salts, flavors linked to bones) In addition, the accompaniments are a little poor => mung bean sprouts, kim, new onions and corn (not a fan of corn). I prefer to find, for example, spinach with sesame oil, mushrooms, edamame or kinds of weights, etc. This allows you to vary the colors within the plate and make it more colorful and appetizing. The slices of pork had a slight taste of gas, they must have probably been flambéed, I'm not a fan.

Nice setting, authentic, the meals are excellent, the staff are very charming.

Very first and very last ramen dish. 30chf for oily soup and noodles. Thankfully you can get a sandwich or burger nearby.

So far I only got take away from Daisuki, chicken ramen to be specific. Totally tasteless and the powder used for the broth had not even dissolved. Two tiny slices of chicken that was even not fully cooked and half boiled egg were included and definitely not worth the CHF 30 price and not even having a discounted price for take away. Not recommend, really disappointing.

Beautiful place, very clean and efficient service, the server was wonderful! However, in general we didn't feel very welcomed by the owner. Ramen is pricey for what it is, the broth is delicate, not salty but also lacking flavour, rather watery. I myself prefer a lighter broth, however there is a general lack of flavour for the meats/other bits of ramen. Portion sizes are good I was visiting Lausanne and happy to be able to try some ramen in the area, thank you

I love this restaurant, I go there often! The menu is limited but it changes often, so everything is fresh and you never get bored! The ramen is very good and you can choose all the ingredients.

I have come to this restaurant several times and have had the opportunity to try several dishes which have never disappointed me. The starters are delicious, especially the pajeon and Tteokbokki (for spicy lovers) to name just two. Concerning their noodles, same observation, the tastes are perfectly balanced and the products of good quality. The team is super nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant! I highly recommend!

Super nice setting. Terrace on a quiet street. The ramen and mochi are excellent, the staff smiling and efficient. On Saturdays, they offer a Korean grill. We will come back to try this, but it was very tempting!

Probably one of the best noodles places in Lausanne

Very nice restaurant, warm welcome. Interesting typical Korean drinks (cold roasted corn tea for example). We opted for Korean specialties and it was perfect. A spring onion pancake and beef bibimbap. Tip Top !

I rarely leave reviews but this is too much. It's been a long time since I've been this disappointed in a restaurant. Between a not particularly friendly welcome, the endless wait and tasteless dishes I don't know where to start. We waited over an hour for starters, really expensive for what they were. Then arrive the dishes. My bibimbap had no taste, if I had put rice, raw vegetables and 4 pieces of meat in a bowl myself I would have obtained the same result. Make no mistake, if I finished my dish it's because at TWENTY-EIGHT francs, I would have had a bitter taste in my mouth to leave some. In total a bill of 100.- for 3 people with a free starter to excuse the wait and three dishes of absolute mediocrity.

A bowl of ramen that tasted like a glass of water. The broth didn't add anything, I could have soaked my noodles in water and I would have had the same result. The ingredients are not bad but there is clearly a lack of preparation and harmony in the dish. The corn tea is a refreshing touch but not enough to raise the total score. I very rarely rate restaurants, especially to give an unfavorable opinion. But 37 CHF for such an unfinished bowl of ramen is disappointing.

the place looked very nice.. but I booked over the phone: he told me I could choose the time. when they arrived they had not taken it into account. They offered us to wait standing in the middle of the entrance for the next table to finish, without offering us a seat or a drink as an apology! so yes maybe they want to fill a Friday evening at best, but having booked I don't think it's right to let us hang around like that! I who was delighted to come and taste it, I am disgusted by it

The best ramen in town, look no further, thick broth, properly seasoned and with a perfect level of spicy. The pancakes were pretty tasty too. You can also try tea made out of corn, which was tasty but could come with sugar / sweetener options. Super friendly & helpful staff. EDIT: After visits over the last few months I have to change my rating. On several occasions the broth tasted diluted post cooking with water (!). Extremely disappointing. I don’t know changed but i’d suggest to change it back.

I have visited 4 times in the space of several months, and always the same observation. The welcome and the service are unpleasant, not a smile or even a hello when you arrive, you have the impression of being a nuisance. The service is excessively slow. The dishes are good, although a little expensive. But unfortunately this is not enough to compensate for the attitude of the staff.

Nice staff and environment:) but the food was quite disappointing, it was not giving the ramen supposed to give. The mushroom is raw and soup taste wired. All the best.

Gyoza were better than the ramen, which was relatively bland.

The idea is good, but we are far from what is done in Japan: here, the place is certainly sober, clean, but the welcome is rather cold. The miso+chicken broth is way too light and rather bland. The filling is of good quality and sufficient. The meat is good, but in small quantities, the noodles are good, nothing more...the whole thing is not worth 30.- on average (reminder: in Japan bowls of ramen are on average 10/15.- and excellent!) : is it the “bobo” neighborhoods that are driving up prices? In the end, we preferred the Korean starters! Damage…

The concept of choice and the price is correct compared to what is done in the field. But the Ramens are much better at Umamido Geneva.

Slow, uninviting service bordering on bored (except for the young Asian man). The gyozas are good but the ramens are a little bland. The lemonade looks like neo citran. Nice frame nonetheless.

Taste good but kinda pricey. The broth and the meat (pork and chicken) is not authentic enough as Japanese Ramen but the noodle is real ramen and they have draft Japanese Kirin beer!

Ramen and gyozba very good but very slow and unpleasant service 1 hour to start eating 1 in 4 people had to wait 10 minutes for their starter which meant that we were finished when they finally received their starter at the same time as the ramen When it was time to finish the coffee, I ordered some tea and the waiter left. The others were unable to order coffee After 10 minutes he brings me my tea and we can order the 3 coffees 5 minutes later the waiter comes to tell us that in 15 minutes we must be gone while we are still waiting for the coffees

We ate one evening to test on the recommendation of several people. it was neither good nor bad and the staff were a little asleep. The gyozas didn't hold together and were quite greasy. The crepe/omelette really had no taste. The ramen was special, it was miso but it didn't taste like miso and the meat was not very good quality, too thick and overcooked. We also found it to be a little expensive for what it was. Maybe we didn't have a good day.

Ramen broth is quite salty and unfortunately lacks flavour depth: I could mostly only taste the soy sauce. Restaurant decor is well thought out on the other side.

Wooo great discovery at avenue de France! A treat for the taste buds ! Great flavors and a total change of scenery. We loved the assortment of dumplings and meatballs. Delicious. The ramen was excellent. An address to recommend. Remember to make a reservation as it is often crowded. Original drinks and a wide choice, all at a very reasonable price. The service is friendly and pleasant.

Good but quite expensive, on the other hand their kitchens overlook our apartment hall and I wonder if their hygiene standards are well respected... The food placed on the floor etc., when they arrived in the premises there were even cockroaches coming out of their kitchen Avoid if you have a weak stomach 😬

I strongly advise against it. I went there with friends to eat there this Thursday lunchtime. Nice terrace, we were looking forward to tasting their ramen. We order and after more than 45 minutes, still nothing! I take the liberty of asking the waitress about the progress in the kitchen and, after obtaining information, she informs me that they are only now starting our dishes. I point out to him that during these time slots, most people are working. Which is my case in this case. I therefore see myself forced to leave because my schedule does not allow the luxury of spending hours on the terrace. Instead of apologizing, I am made to look like an unpleasant customer who is complaining for nothing. In the end, after more than an hour, I had to leave on an empty stomach, without any word of apology and with the feeling of having clearly been taken for an idiot and very unwelcome. A big thank you for this quality service!!! I will hasten to advise you against it to my entire network....

Very slow and messy service... Bland and uninteresting ramen. Too expensive for the overall quality. We felt like we were too many because our orders were lost twice and given the waiting time we finally left without dessert. But, the Kirin/yuzu blend was original!

Nothing special about the ramen. The staff are rude and unfriendly. When they ran out of tteobokki and offered us a complimentary gyoza but it was still charged to us on the bill.

A great surprise ! After hearing a lot about Daisuki I was very tempted to discover all these dishes. The place is very pretty, I advise you to make a reservation because it is small and they are very popular. We chose a lot of the “to share” dishes, I don’t remember all the names but everything was really delicious. The flavors were there, a total change of scenery. The service is efficient and knows the menu well. We spent a very pleasant evening ! I have to come back and try the ramen 😛

Very good restaurant with good food. Varied choices with seasonal dishes. Unfortunately the service was a little slow as we went there.

The starters are absolutely fabulous! We had a pajeon and vegetarian gyoza, I recommend! I will go to this restaurant just to order starters. We had two vegan ramen, delicious. Finally a restaurant that offers vegetarian and vegan alternatives worthy of the name. Great welcome, nice restaurant in a quiet area, go for it!

Really very good with a good price of 57.- for 2 brings back with a starter and drinks it's just a shame that there is a bit of a wait but it's still worth it

The boss is hateful! From being unfriendly to scaring away customers! She doesn't make you want to go back there! Fortunately the waiter and waitress are friendly and professional, that makes up for the odious attitude of the owner. The food is good and tasteful despite the fact that my ramen lacked seasoning and the eggs were hard and not soft as written on the menu. I only recommend if you like to be manhandled and like to receive dishes by being thrown on the table by the boss.

Been there a couple of days ago, with a lot of hype based on the amount of people I usually see sitting. The gyoza were good, but the ramen was too salty, the soup was not super flavoured and the pork was ok but nothing special. The noodles were overcooked for my taste. Pricy for what they offer and the quality was not great when compared to other similar places in Lausanne.

Went here with a friend for dinner on Friday 04.01.22, the overall experience wasn’t nice. - The waitress didn’t know the difference between the Korean and the Japanese ramen when we asked her to explain and said it’s basically the toppings that differ (when in fact they are exactly the same) - We wanted Gyoza (either pork or vegetarian) and were informed that they were out of gyoza. We then saw a couple that arrived after us get gyoza…. When we asked, the waitress said they had a miscommunication with the kitchen. We didn’t expect to be compensated, but they didn’t offer us anything as a gesture e.g. one or two mochis would have been nice. - The ramen were not amazing, too much noodles and barely any other toppings. Honestly I do better at my place. - The mushroom in my friend’s ramen wasn’t cooked. - Their tipping process is very off putting, you feel like you’re in the States and that you’re obligated to tip, which isn’t at all how you do it in Switzerland, it’s goodwill if you can/ appreciated the service, not by all means an obligation. I honestly won’t come back here.

Nice little discovery! The ramen was delicious, the Korean pancake was simple but effective in taste, the vegetable ravioli with their sauce was very good. My daughter loved the ramen. We will come back to taste other dishes.

After hearing good things about it, I couldn't wait to discover this new restaurant. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The gyozas, in addition to being burnt and black (all 3 dishes), simply had no taste and were soft. As for the ramen, I found it tasteless, the broth was uninteresting and the meat dry. Positive point, the egg and noodles which were perfectly cooked. Maybe I was unlucky and had a bad night. Unfortunately, affording to serve burnt gyoza is the reason I won't be returning to Daisuki.

Super warm welcome by young people, fairly quick service and the starters are super good! I enjoyed the kimchi, the "Korean pancake" and the gyoza. The ramen is very basic, even a little too much perhaps but not bad.

The restaurant is a cute gem in an interesting neighbor. Personnel is cordial and solar which makes the experience really pleasant. A black dot comes from the almost implicit 10% tip at the counter. Were we in San Francisco??

Mmmmm I was very excited to try this new Asian restaurant in Lausanne, offering a non-dairy dining option was nice. I’d say if you’re craving general homemade Asian food, this is the place. Come try yourself, maybe you’d like it. As an Asian, however, I was unfortunately disappointed by the ramen and Korean pancake (pajeon). The ramen noodles tasted more like Italian pasta; the soup was… nope. Pak Choi was not a vegetable used for ramen, yet it was here, and was not fully cooked - my friend’s enoki champignons also tasted raw. The Korean pancake tasted ok, but not how authentic Korean pancakes would be like.

Deplorable welcome!! We were treated like rotten fish at 11:59 a.m. because we had booked at 12:00 p.m. and they were just finishing scrubbing. Yes, it's serious, it's not a joke. We left. I have never been greeted this way in any restaurant, it's really shameful. I advise against.
