We live in the area and regularly walk to the restaurant and stop for a drink. This works great even when there are few guests. If the restaurant is full, you have to wait an unpleasantly long time. On our last visit we waited 30 minutes. People who came after us were served in a friendly manner. We, 4 people. wanted to eat, left after 30 minutes, apparently a business that doesn't need to serve guests. This has happened twice now, sorry but that's a no go. That's why I don't recommend it, we will avoid our drinks there even in the off-season.

I eat there regularly from spring to fall. I love the Brazilian prawns, they are absolutely amazing. The service is always courteous and very friendly. The owner lends a hand every day and always has time for a short conversation. I'm already looking forward to the next season in 2024.

I ate a shrimp bowl but it took a while to arrive 1 hour for a bowl and 36.- bowls are expensive, but at least it was very good

Yesterday evening we ate a very good roast beef and a plate of fried lake fish with salad. What a disappointment dry fried too fried but the worst are the salads 😕🙁😡not a seasonal salad when we are still in the middle of it all winter salads (trevise, escarole rampon) all served with a slice of orange hello seasonal fruit the prices are increasing we won't be going back anytime soon

I have been going to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. My choice often falls on shrimp which are delicious. The setting is magical, if you go there in the afternoon in spring, the calm of the lake and the view are breathtaking and the service is really great and the desserts are always a pleasure!

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy (holiday feeling), the food is good. Price/performance is right.

Unfortunately the chef is unavailable at the moment, which is of course very annoying and a disaster on the weekends in the high season. But why do you make the whole map? Why not a sign "Dear customer, our chef is unfortunately unavailable. In order to still be able to serve you on our beautiful terrace by the lake, we have shortened the menu; you can find the current menus here on the board." People waited over an hour for a simple meal... NO GO... and Schnipo was not edible, the deep fryer was probably overwhelmed too... The staff tried very hard and remained friendly and tried hard, but sorry, that was a real shame

A small seasonal camping beach restaurant, with a large shaded terrace and a beautiful wooded room with marine decor. The very smiling boss is Brazilian and charms you from the first words exchanged. His menu reflects his image, with dishes that evoke his country, but also the most classic, fish and shellfish, everything is excellent. The service is quite fast even with a lot of customers. To be recommended, it is best to reserve.

Great food selection, service a bit stuck in French (not a problem for me, but for other visitors). I think the salad is excellent with the light summer dressing. The shrimp were drowned a little in oil.

We usually eat there quite regularly and have never been disappointed. However, you have to be tolerant on sunny days because the restaurant is a victim of its success.

To avoid. Abnormally long waiting time (50 minutes), all to receive 6 perch fillets (yes, only 6) and undercooked potatoes.

Good day! I'm very disappointed with the camping😕 First of all, the place where we have the tents is incredibly uncomfortable - it's a huge section with an integrated poodle run. The water is a huge mess, it stinks and it's dirty like Anton

Fine restaurant in the middle of the Avenches Plage campsite, directly on Lake Murten. Nice big terrace. Good selection of food (including shrimps, beef tartare, etc.). Price/performance is right. Fine Vully wine from Mur FR. Nice service. Highly recommended.

Well oriented and pleasant beach, although small. We prefer that of Salavaux for its size and its wild side, but we appreciate that of Avenches for its well-equipped playground and its camping atmosphere, as well as the view of the Vully and the Jura behind, (Chasseral) The restaurant is pleasant, the service friendly. The food is good too.

Coke wasn't available in bottles and was far too expensive. My colleague from whom I bought the Coke thought it would be a good idea to throw the Coke on the floor, then I drank the most expensive Coke of my life. That one in the picture is poor Cola.

Wir hatten einen Salat Teller mit Satay Spiessen, die brasilianischen Gambas, und zweite Kinderteller. Die Speisen waren unglaublich gut/lecker gewürzt. Die Bedienung war äusserst freundlich, trotz sehr vielen Gästen. Das Essen war schnell da. Wir waren total zufrieden. Danke.

You eat very well here! We were here twice. First we ate mussels. We also drank vino verde. Very good! Fries crunchy until the end. On the second day, the Müllerin-style fish with again very crispy fries. Plus pino gris. The boss is easy to recognize and does her job very well! Reservation is recommended!

We had reserved a table just to be on the safe side, which was a good idea; when we arrived the restaurant was almost completely full. Nevertheless, we were served very nicely, the food came quickly and was very tasty. We'd love to come back there.

Very nice restaurant that creates a holiday feeling with a lot of charm. The food was great, beautifully prepared and very tasty. Unfortunately the service was a disaster. The restaurant was full but we had to wait almost 15 minutes for our drinks. We waited much, much longer for food, which is just tedious with children. What particularly bothered us was that the other table that came after us got drinks and food before us. The management isn't really right here. The same game again when paying. As the service has improved, an absolute insider tip!
