Recommended by friends who say that the pizza is very good, the place was really crowded at lunch, which means that the food is good, in fact my dish was very tasty, in the end with the coffee the waiter also arrived with biscuits for the our dog lying under the table

From the outside we were a bit unsettled. But then they went in. The waiter (Portuguese) was very friendly and accommodating. The pizzas are rather cheap and taste good. spaghetti was also good. Attention, spicy is spicy here, we thought that was great. would eat here again in a heartbeat.

The interior of the Risto is typical of a pizzeria. Worthy pizzas 👍😋😋 The service is good, but when the place is crowded it becomes extremely slow. The paper napkins are small, thin and flimsy, short... bad. (The cheapest you can find on the market). No parking space? No problem, a short walk is always welcome. The prices are not too expensive, but not popular either.

It had only been a short time since I came to live near here! Going out to dinner near home could be correct and kind towards the neighborhood where you live! But... explicitly ask for a carbonara with bacon and pecorino, and be served a carbonara with bacon and parmesan and be told by the owner who doesn't even know you: What are you doing, you're not eating! And when you try kindly to explain it and in the end you are told again: If you want carbonara go to Rome. ....... maybe the food is good, but would you go back??

Our favorite place when we are in Locarno; This is where the people of Ticino go to eat.

The setting is simple but the pizza is excellent. Very friendly welcome. Not very touristy place (Italian is spoken and not German in the restaurant)

Food was very good, service was courteous and friendly. The ambience is more like a “village pub” and the traffic is very loud (the street is not a meter from the restaurant and the people of Ticino probably have a lot of fun with their loud cars). The fact that the Patrouille Suisse happened to thunder past a few times didn't help either, but the pizzeria can't help it 😂

Tired kitchen, multiple disagreements, pointer....

We were recommended to come here. After being in Ticino for over 20 years this is tge best pizza pkace. Also the Ticinese Piatto ( local sliced meats) and Ticino Merlot were all perfect! The owners and staff are very friendly! We will be back!

What can I say... I may be a little biased but having practically grown up in this place I can only praise practically every single element of this restaurant. The pizza is delicious, the best I have ever eaten. The kitchen ditto, they have specialties such as frogs, prawns, meat, etc. Everything is cooked as if you were at home. The environment is also familiar, in fact the restaurant was founded over 40 years ago by the Mazzoni and Sabatino families, who today also make use of the precious Jaime at the service and the great Max at the pizzas. The lunch menu of the day is always varied and at a price that cannot be found elsewhere: you eat a lot, it's good and you spend little. Keep it up…❤️

Quite disappointing. We went there because of all the good reviews. However, the pizza wasn’t that great because the veggies on the pizza were already boiled before put on the pizza. And the Taglierini con Funghi Porcini did not come with a sauce at all - it was just a loooot of oil and the mushrooms... Service at least was ok... but did not understand English nor German.

Tonight I went to eat and I ate venison salmi with its side dishes and it was exceptional. My friend ate the pizza which was also very good and it was very thin and light. Very friendly staff. I recommend the valleys restaurant because everything is really good!!!!!! 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Few parking spaces in front of the restaurant but available nearby. Only a few tables outside and close to the street. Good food, fine and well cooked pizza. If you ask for "a little mozzarella" the pizza arrives with "a little mozzarella"!!! (unlike other places where you find the "tacconata"). Friendly and helpful staff.

Nell'ultimo periodo siamo stati qui a mangiare un paio di volte. La pizza è nella media, la location lascia un po' a desiderare, il servizio ... Considerando che non ci sono parcheggi, il locale dovrebbe essere un po' più attraente e il servizio dovrebbe essere un pochino più giovane e dinamico. Comunque, se ho possibilità di scelta, vado da un'altra parte.
