Although the meal went wonderfully, the atmosphere quickly turned sour. People who ordered the “parmigiano” were surprised by the amount of filling on their dry pastry. My great aunt (72 years old) had not managed to finish her pizza, so the waiter decided to attack her in a childish and contemptuous way. Following this first interaction, my great aunt (72 years old) simply asked for a coffee, the waiter refused since he was ⚠️eating⚠️ Apart from these inconveniences, the people who did not eat the “parmigiano” ate very well.

Although well received at first, the atmosphere quickly soured. Already the pizzas were dry, the members of my family who had the parmigiano had almost nothing on their pizzas. Then, when my great aunt (72 years old) returned her plate to the waiter with pizza still on it, she got a moral lesson because she hadn't finished her plate. Later when we ordered a coffee, the waiter refused because he was eating. On top of that, my cousin who understands Italian heard extremely inappropriate comments about her. In summary, good food, nothing more, and service that clearly leaves something to be desired.

Simply absolutely fantastic cuisine. 100% recommended! We will be back - soon! The “Tagliatelle Crevette with Porcini Mushrooms” are the purest symphony and a firework of taste experiences in the mouth. The veal osso buco with saffron risotto is a real wave of enjoyment. Real Italians in the kitchen and yet better than in Italy. Thank you thank you thank you!

The Italian restaurant in the center of Stans is a culinary highlight of Italian cuisine. The tagliatelle with prawns, porcini mushrooms and lemon was a heavenly delight to all my existing taste buds. The simple and very sophisticated ambience in the historic building writes its own story. If you want to enjoy the culinary art and the sunny ambience of Italy, you have come to the right place.

We have to say that it was the best pizza and pasta we have had so far. Thank you!! We would be happy to order again.

Best pizzeria in all of Nidwalden. Delivery is always great and pizzas are really authentic. If you order something else as an alternative to the pizzas, you will get a large portion of delicious Italy 😋

Food was great! Service was catastrophic, cutlery was literally thrown on the table, we waited 15 minutes for the bill, with few other visitors in the restaurant.

Never had such a bad calzone. Served lukewarm, taste poor. Service inadequate.

On the last Friday, the three of us stopped by and ordered Pizza Carbonara, Pizza with arugula and truffle, and a Prosciutto pizza. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. They were simply delightful. The staff is exceptional. We were regularly asked if there was anything else we would like or if anything was bothering us. It was evident that every customer is important to them. Additionally, the location and the surroundings are very peaceful, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Apart from the limited lighting when dining outside in the evening, everything was excellent. We would be happy to return and keep up the great work!

Nice restaurant and good service. Take-away pizza slices are not recommended. Cold, cheese not melted and almost no tomato sauce. Very disappointing

The food is very inconsistent. Depending on the cook, it's either great or just okay, which is a shame. The staff is also very different because some only work seasonally. In addition, some investments in the buffet and kitchen areas would be necessary. Actually a good pizzeria, it just lacks seriousness in terms of quality.

Lunch menu with “small” ideally sized pizzas. Fine dough. The other lunch menus are also always good. Fair prices. And Chef Osvaldo is just great. Highly recommended.

The food here is fine, the problem is the apartment they rent out at the opposite, it’s very dirty and things are broken, walls are with stains, bath is to dirty to step into, spiderwebs at the seiling, beds are bed, and I can go on for minutes. It’s a shame that you have to pay for something like this. One star is even to mutch.

The Restaurant am Tell is a great restaurant if you are looking for a good pizza. The waitress came immediately after we sat down and welcomed us. We hadn't made a reservation and were there at lunchtime - there were still enough places. The selection of dishes is huge. I chose a prosciutto pizza. The waiting time was a bit long, but the food tasted very good. The price was also very fair. We ate outside. The toilets were indoors and clean.

Visited you this afternoon. I definitely don't order my food in English!!!!! Will NOT come again. Oh yes, bread was fart dry.

We made a reservation for a short aperitif and a bite of bruschetta was offered per person. The owner loudly asked us to order something and not just eat for free. After the last sip we were literally thrown out on the street. Unfortunately, we have repeatedly experienced incidents of this and other intolerable types with the boss. Conclusion: Never again. Apparently he doesn't need to treat his guests decently. By the way: The food was always good, apart from a tiramisu that went sour

We arrived at 2PM and they told kitchen was closed. So "working hours" should be updated as we wasted time stopping there.

For a standard pizza. Waited 55 minutes, half-full restaurant, 2 service employees…. Some carelessly spilled ingredients on the pizza but hunger won. Taste was good.

Ordered pizza and received it very quickly. Margarita was very good. Prices are appropriate.

The money definitely doesn't help. The only thing that is still edible is the salad!

dry bread with a few tomatoes and arugula under the bread and I ordered 3 comb but only 2 bruschetta... pizzas were lukewarm... a shame...

The food is great and comes quickly... The restaurant is regularly full during all opening hours. The waiters run from table to table... They are friendly, but have no time at all. The atmosphere as a whole "suffers" from the stressed employees...

Good pizza, friendly and courteous service, fair prices. You'll have to serve me again 😉 It's cool that gluten-free pizza is also available upon request.

Me and my girlfriend ordered 2 pizzas and bruschetta. With the bruschetta you really noticed that it was old bread that you couldn't eat. You couldn't eat your pizza with rocket, onions and porcini mushrooms - it tasted disgusting. My pizza was okay but completely oversalted and it wasn't cut. The delivery was okay. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it. Real disappointment.

We went to Tell this evening to have pizza. My wife ordered a pizza Mare e Monti, with porcini mushrooms. Instead of the porcini mushrooms there was some kind of lamellar mushroom on the pizza. When we complained, the waiter explained that he had complained about this several times in the kitchen; Obviously we were not the first ones who did not receive the declared mushrooms. We couldn't find out the reason why there were no porcini mushrooms on the pizza. We paid and went home dissatisfied.

We stayed at the B&B, unfortunately we didn't have time to eat. The pizzeria looks very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The overnight stay was good, the rooms were clean and the beds and mattresses were very good. The restaurant closes at 11 p.m., so it's quiet then, unfortunately it's a small local street where trucks also drive at night. Then it is sometimes very loud on the street side. Overall, however, we were very satisfied and plan to stay here again if necessary.

I give this restaurant 5 stars because we were 1. We were warmly welcomed with a bruschetta. They came immediately and wanted to serve us drinks. After 10-15 minutes he came again for your food order. He enjoys his job👍. The pizza tasted incredible. That was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Respect to the Pizzajolo😉. At the end of June 2022 I ordered a pizza with porcini/porcini mushrooms, which is a little more expensive because of the porcini. But there were only light brown leaf mushrooms on the pizza (Täublinge), which are of no culinary value to us. The two waiters acted like they didn't know what porcini were. Worse still was the Chef di Servizio, who also played the clueless non-connoisseur of porcini and then clumsily came up with the excuse that there were no fresh porcini available at the moment. He claimed that they bought these “Porcini” from the dealer. He can choose: either he's a bad actor who couldn't have known that we were long-time mushroom pickers, or he lets the dealer rip him off. Maybe at least the pizzaiolo felt guilty because he knew that the customers didn't receive what they ordered on the menu. But it would be really bad that the pizzaiolo in this restaurant didn't know what porcini was either.

A restaurant right in the village of Stans, in the 30 zone towards Oberdorf. The restaurant is reasonably priced, but the food isn't great. The bruschetta (on the house) was tasteless, bland, as was the lasagne that I ate. It's a shame because the food looked very appetizing. Ordered here once before and had it delivered to your home. Even at this point, the food was not as aromatic as one would expect.

William Tell, a name you won't forget so quickly. Just like the pizzas in the restaurant of the same name. I put together the topping myself and was very satisfied because it was very tasty. I really enjoy being here, you feel comfortable. A plus here is that Wilhelm Tell also offers take away. Excellent. It was clean here, the service was very accommodating and nice as well as polite. I can only recommend William Tell. I'll come back, that's for sure

It has an easily accessible boat dock. The service is attentive and friendly. The selection of pizzas is large. We decided on the daily menu and the fish from Lake Lucerne. The menu included an espresso. We felt comfortable in this atmosphere - with a view of the lake and friendly service. 😀

Very friendly service, but the choice of food is limited. Pizza. But these are quite well prepared.r The pricing is not clear, the menu says certain things are included, but you don't know anything about it at the checkout. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

We went to the “Italian in Tell Stans” for lunch today The cook must have forgotten the salt in the water for the spaghetti carbonara. The spaghetti was also far dry, which means the eggs were set, which means the sauce wasn't runny at all. We left half of the plate standing. The boss Oswaldo himself cleared our plates. We told him that the cook had forgotten the salt. He replies: I will tell the cook. So no apology or coffee etc. The matter was over for him. We will draw our conclusions from this. I ate a delicious pizza here and the service was very friendly and humorous.

Clean and very convenient in the centre. The pizza is very good. There was a bit of a mess during the night in the other apartments but they are kids and have the energy to stay up until 4-5 in the morning... lucky them. They returned from the party at 5 and I went out to continue the journey.

We stayed in the company's own B&B and had dinner here. The pizzas were very good and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were the only guests, but in the current situation it was great.

Ate very well, we had an excellent pizza chat. Something small was spontaneously offered as a birthday surprise.

Very friendly and authentic staff. Restaurant is clean and tables are cleaned thoroughly after each guest. The food is delicious. I recommend the pizza carbonara.

Unfortunately, after waiting for over 20 minutes, we still couldn't order the food despite asking politely. When I show up at the restaurant with three of my little hungry children, I hope for quick service. Because children are what they are, patience is not their strength. Unfortunately we had to leave the restaurant hungry again. There is one star for the syrup offer for the children!
