Dieci in Bern

Update March 17, 2024: After I found out the central contact address for complaints through this review and wrote again in writing, I received feedback from quality management. They apologized to me over the phone and confirmed in writing that they would strongly train the branch's employees. Additionally, I was refunded the amount of my entire order. There is still no statement from the local branch management. I also find it unacceptable that not all contact addresses for complaints are published by the branch (but sometimes via Google Reviews). Original: On January 3, 2024, I bit on a pit (probably an apricot) in the penultimate piece of my Porcini Pizza (order no. 06-24-012-71). This is absolutely unacceptable. I took a photo and reported the incident on site and to an internal Dieci email address. I was promised a voucher, but I have no interest in ordering from Dieci again. If Dieci were sorry and serious about apologizing, they would offer a refund and not a voucher.

I love Dieci's pizzas, but recently we've had to deal with major delays, which resulted in cold pizzas. The first time we reported this and we were given a 20 voucher. We received the next delivery within 10 minutes. However, we ordered again today and instead of 7:15 p.m. we received it at 7:45 p.m., again cold and not cut, even though we wanted it that way. What a shame!

The pizzas 🍕 at Dieci are really delicious 😋 Waiting time was 20 minutes for pickup; fits.

My girlfriend and I order from Dieci twice a month, which results in a shopping cart of around CHF 100 per month. Yesterday we didn't feel like cooking and ordered 2 pizzas from Dieci. The order was 40 minutes later than the stated delivery time. I think a maximum of 15 minutes late is excusable, but if I'm 40 minutes late I don't have a problem. Understanding. We asked the supplier about compensation, but he said he would have to ask the boss. At a company like Dieci there is certainly customer management that takes care of the matter. In the event of a delay of 40 minutes, compensation is customary.

Pizza ok but 63 francs for three pizzas rather poor in size is too much. And goodbye

This is a solid take-away pizza in Bern. I have ordered different pizzas from Dieci more than 20 times. It is hard for me to understand these comments - they don’t make any sense to me. It’s not 5 stars as for Da Nino, but again - a solid take-away. Quattro stagioni and Salami piccante are doing the job.

The delivery came over 20 minutes after the agreed date. In addition, pizza and pasta were cold. The cutlery that was ordered for a fee was not included at all. We don't order from them anymore!

Extremely bad pizzas that make you feel sick later and you're over 30 minutes late even though you live almost 5 minutes away. No more!

The fleeing delivery man gave me my pizza with the raw ham that came with it. But immediately after his escape, I realized that the raw ham was moldy. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted.

First of all, the pizzas are really good for a courier service! BUT: the service and the employees are a disaster. Incredibly unfriendly and not at all accommodating.

So far I've only had very good experiences with Dieci. We were always on time when ordering in advance and very quickly when ordering spontaneously. They have several very tasty vegan pizzas to choose from that I would happily recommend.

Ordered Pizza 4 Stagioni by phone. Was delivered quickly. Not good, but super good pizza for CHF 22.00. 😁 😎 😁

We bought days away. Was finished in 15 minutes. Pizza very tasty. A large and 1 bottle of cola cost 33 Fr. Recommend!!!

I just wanted to order a pizza on site with my brother and there was a totally unfriendly and arrogant employee who thought he had no decency at the checkout and acted as if we weren't there to order a pizza. We just left again straight away. Pizzerias are a dime a dozen. Maybe in the future you will hire employees who want to work.

Probably the best pizza you can have delivered to your home. Unbeatable in terms of quality. I've never had any problems with delivery. And I understand that it can take an hour on the weekend, for example. The delivery times stated are quite accurate, even when ordered in advance.

Unfortunately no response to my complaint. Pizza arrived after 1.5 hours instead of the stated 35 minutes. In addition, the food was just lukewarm and the bottom was charred in certain places. Unfortunately, things like this have been happening more often lately.

I had ordered pizza with extra mozzarella and tomato sauce. This is what i got . There was no extra cheese and no extra sauce and the pizza was also very cold. When I called and told them about the pizza , the person on the phone talked very rudely and asked me to order from some other restaurant. I told him I am your regular client and I love the pizza you make, still he spoke in a very harsh way and said again to order from some other shop.

Ordered pizza “Dieci” for 24 francs. 40 minutes waiting time. Delivered without Parma ham. The guy who delivered was absolutely friendly. “Boss” on the phone was very incompetent and unfriendly. He just wanted to deliver the Parma ham 30 minutes late without a new pizza. When I told him that the pizza would be cold by then, he agreed very rudely and reluctantly. MISTAKE NOT ADMITTED AND NO APOLOGY. AFTER 90 minutes I received the pizza I ordered. They even asked for the cold pizza back. Pizza was good but NEVER AGAIN!

Waited 45 minutes for the house pizza “Dieci”. However, without raw ham, which accounts for the higher price. Very unfriendly on the phone with the head office, but the delivery service was helpful and nice. Second pizza received after 90 minutes, again without raw ham. As an apology there was a bottle of Coke, nothing else...

Very good pizzas for such a large chain. Highly recommended arugula pizza with lots of arugula. Packaging easy to recycle. Cheese like bubble gum.

The pizza was delicious😋 Unfortunately, both desserts we ordered expired. We ordered the pizza and dessert on September 24th, 2022 and it was valid until September 22nd, 2022. Thank you very much, but never again!

Pizza is good. The delivery service was a disaster! My work colleague ordered pizzas for 10 people on her last day at work, ordering early in the morning at 12:15, as our practice resumed operations at 1:00 p.m....the pizzas weren't delivered until 12:50! My colleague called several times and was just stalled with excuses... on the third call she complained to the boss, who actually had the nerve to tell her... after all, he also had 4 hours with his son. waiting in an emergency room!?!?!? What does this request have to do with our practice? That's really pathetic!

The pizzas from Dieci are really delicious, which is why we have ordered from them a few times - and despite the poor delivery service, it only gets 3 stars. 4/5 orders simply don't arrive anywhere near the time specified and even if you pre-order for a specific time, delivery can sometimes be 30 minutes late.

Best pizza in Bern in my opinion. I only order pizza when it comes to pizza. Delivery times are ok. Thanks to the warming box in the car, the pizza is delivered nice and crispy even after 45 minutes.

Best pizza delivery company. Pizza comes in an oven built into the car. Pizzas are like in a restaurant straight from the oven. Great, we are thrilled.

We waited 1 1/2 hours for our pizza :-(. Two of the three pizzas we ordered were in the oven too long, i.e. mostly black at the bottom. There's definitely still room for improvement!

I picked up two pizzas. When I arrived at the pizzeria I wasn't greeted and the staff seemed very disinterested. The pizza tasted delicious but the toppings were unremarkable, the mozzarella reminded me of the frozen pizza from the supermarket. The prosciutto crudo and the bresaola were from Italy and in a separate package. I also recommend a bottle of water by your bed at night, the pizzas are quite salty.

Pizzas are actually delicious, but this one Albanian (I'm Albanian myself) who takes the orders can't be beaten in terms of arrogance and unfriendliness...

Dieci couriers are by far the worst and most inconsiderate drivers there are.

The pizzas are usually very good. Fresh ingredients, not burnt, delicious dough. Salads sometimes come across a bit thin. Delivery times are terrible and we've already waited 1.5 hours. The suppliers were always very friendly. Will definitely order some more 😋

The pizzas are actually relatively tasty. I also prefer my own delivery service instead of Smood or Eat. Unfortunately, the last 5 pizzas were all black, either on the edge or the bottom was completely burnt. I wish you wouldn't burn the pizzas every time.

The quality of the pizza has deteriorated significantly. Also unfriendly contact. I chose buffalo mozzarella on my pizza instead of regular mozzarella. The pizza was only topped with tomatoes and had five small cold sprinkles of buffalo mozzarella on top. When asked, they said: that's just how we do it and there's nothing we can change now. My husband had Frutti the Mare and had a few seafood on it. Overall: Not worth the money.

Ordered pizza at 7:43 p.m. with a wait of 90 minutes (= 9:13 p.m.). So far so good. This is a long wait, which I accepted with five friends. At 9:43 p.m. (30 minutes later than the waiting time / 120 minutes total) the pizza was still nowhere. Several call attempts to the Bern location were forwarded directly to the tape - with the information that the call was outside of operating hours, which of course is not true since, according to the homepage, these are until 10:00 p.m. When a call attempt worked, I confronted the person I was talking to about the situation. He became rude, rude and, in my opinion, completely customer-unfriendly. "You are the only one of the total of 300 orders who is now complaining, the others all understand" - anyone who believes that will be blessed. I also find it a little special to use the European Football Championship as an excuse - because it is well known that it is currently underway. And an option to accommodate me here due to the current circumstances was not even considered in the slightest. “Do you want the pizza or not?” was his question, which drove me mad when I had already paid for pizzas with a value of almost CHF 140. Logically, I insisted on delivery, which would reach me within 20 minutes of calling. Anyone who can do the math knows that the pizzas were only made based on my reaction. Around 25 minutes later (10:25 p.m. - over 60 minutes later than planned / a total of 150 minutes after ordering) a Dieci courier reached me. Nice guy who can't help it. The order was complete. As an apology we received 4 soft drinks and 2 beers - nice gesture, but after all the circumstances, considering the effort that Dieci has had with these free drinks, it is out of all proportion. The fact that the complaint, which has not been answered via the homepage today and that I now have to take this step, makes me sad, as I had significantly fewer problems in the past. What particularly bothers me about the whole case is: - the massive delay: if I had expected 150 minutes in advance, it would have been my own fault or I would have chosen an alternative this time. In my opinion, this is a clear ploy to avoid “losing” customers to the competition. - The interaction: was unprofessional, arrogant, cheeky. - Complaint processing: not at all. Edit: After my review I read the comments. Unfortunately, these correspond to my situation.

Pizza arrived 3 hours late, had to call a thousand times until someone picked up then they said it would come in 3 minutes. After half an hour I had to call again a thousand times until someone answered and they said it would come in 10 minutes. They took advantage of the fact that I had already paid online. Ordered pizza today at 8:45 p.m. When I asked by phone, they said "no problem" the pizza would arrive in 2-3 minutes, but that wasn't true, the pizza was delivered 30 minutes late. The courier just said "you're not the only one who's hot" 🤔. Once and never again.

Pizza dough was almost chewy, far from crispy. could hardly be cut, especially the edge. Otherwise the pizza wasn't exactly a hit. Unfortunately this is the second time and no improvement. Pity.

Wow wow wow! I have rarely had such a super fresh pizza delivered like from dieci. Each pizza was topped with only fresh ingredients and tasted sensational!

Im Gegensatz dazu ebenfalls IMMER PERFEKT; Mega Pizza Bern & Picasso Ittigen BE!!!)!!!Die Gnocchi & die Pasta waren kochtechnisch perfekt (trotz der Lieferzeit)!!!Geschmacklich... naja, die Einen mögen es rahmig, die Anderen weniger!!!Meiner Meinung nach gehört Rahm (etc.) NICHT in eine Carbonara- und schon gar nicht in eine Pesto-Suce!!!Beides war absolut gut essbar (& wenn man/frau es cremig mag, dann sicher nicht als schlecht zu bewerten), aber nicht wirklich mein Fall!!!Preis / Leistung also somit ganz okay!Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lieferservices hat die fast 1 Std. Wartezeit doch etwas lange gedauert (angegeben waren 45 Min. - Bei fast allen anderen waren es zwischen 20-30 Min. - auch von Ittigen nach Bern!!!)!!!

So with all the complaining and bad reviews I have to say that when I called today to ask where my pizza was, a very nice gentleman on the phone gave me really friendly information. Well, I didn't realize that I had to wait up to 2 hours today for the delivery to arrive. It's not the pizzeria's fault that the canton has closed all restaurants and now everyone orders online.

War am Telefon sehr unfreundlich. Meinte ich könne telefonisch nicht bestellen und soll das online machen. Da wir ihm nicht glaubten, rief gleich mein Kollege an. Bei ihm war es kein Problem. Vielleicht lag es am italienschen Namen oder am Geschlecht?

I ordered a gluten-free pizza and was very happy with the quality of the pizza. Very tasty and the dough was airy and crispy but NOT dry! Gluten-free doughs are often rather dry and hard, but not at all here - really highly recommended :). Toppings were also great - enough cheese but not too much (after all, it's not supposed to be raclette but a pizza) and fresh raw ham. I was surprised - the raw ham tasted even better than the one you can buy in the Coop or Migros. The service was friendly and accommodated my special requests (I wanted Gorgonzola instead of mascarpone on the pizza). The delivery time was a few minutes (approx. 7-8 minutes) longer than the stated 50 minutes, but with this quality and special requests, it was absolutely reasonable and legitimate. I look forward to ordering gluten-free pizza there again soon :)

I was almost run over by a courier car while riding my bike today. When approached at the intersection, the driver, with the phone in his hand, said he hadn't seen me... It's better to order pizza somewhere else - for safer streets in Bern!

A real dirty shop with a very dubious boss!! I haven't worked there for six months and I'm treated like a child. The boss blocks me everywhere, even though I only want confirmation of my termination and confirmation of employment.

Well, I can't really understand the lower clerks, I ordered 3 times at different times (1st 8 p.m. / 2nd about 4 p.m. / 3rd 1 p.m.) they always came on time about 40 minutes. The couriers were all normal, although at the beginning someone with a bald head? was overly friendly 🤣 Normally I rarely eat the grains, but here, I eat like a vacuum cleaner😶 washed and gone😂 because eat.ch disappointed me and you also have very tasty fresh salads, since YOU are my new number 1☝️🧐 There's only one small thing to complain about, it's a great cardboard box because of the oil? So I prefer to cut my pizza myself (better taste, stays hot longer) but this cardboard box in the middle I always accidentally tear pieces out and chew on and that's choking... the idea is great, but I would say it still has potential for invention 😉 Kind regards, a new regular customer🤪🤗

Bottom drawer what they allow themselves. Don't recommend anyone to order there! We waited almost 2 hours for the delivery to arrive and were pushed away several times on the phone when we wanted to ask when the pizzas would arrive.

The behavior of the workers is ridiculous and completely disrespectful

Though the pizza tasted great we had a 1,5 h waiting time, instead of the 50 mins stated when we made the order. Once we called to check the status of the order we found out that the waiting time was actually 2 h (!!). We wanted to cancel our order and get the money back since the information given on the website was false but instead we were shouted at. The operator hung up on us so we called again and the same thing happened. We called a third time and we were finally able to calmly find out that our order was on the way. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience. We do not mind waiting longer but at least give us a call to say that the order is delayed. More importantly, do not provide false information to your customers. It ruins the credibility of the business. Also as I mentioned, the staff was rude and disrespectful. Such behaviour definitely does not predict a bright future for the business. We will not buy from this place again.

Il y a quelque jours nous avons commandé des pizzas dans cette filiale.J'ai commencé par appeler pour savoir s'il y avait beaucoup d'attente. La personne qui a décroché ne parlait ni italien (c'est une pizzeria non???), ni français, ni anglais... je n'ai donc pas réussi à obtenir l'information puisque il m'a pratiquement raccroché au nez.Nous avons tout de même décidé de commander. 1h30 plus tard nos pizzas arrivent. Je demande au livreur s'ils ont beaucoup de travail et il répond "non".En résumé un personnel plutôt antipathique, un temps d'attente interminable (le site a annoncé 1h d'attente après commande, pratique...) pour des pizzas bonnes mais pas exceptionnelles et un prix plutôt élevé.

Very unfriendly: We waited 60 minutes for our pizza and when I called to ask how long it would take I was treated very unfriendly on the phone. It was almost insulting. The pizza is good, hence 2 stars. But the unfriendliness on the phone is not acceptable.

Unfriendly. I called and asked if we could be given a quote to deliver pizzas to our meeting (more than 20 people) because I needed a quote so that my employer would cover expenses for this. The employee seemed very uninterested and just told me "We don't make offers" and then simply ended the conversation. We have now ordered from the competition.

Der Lieferzeitpunkt wurde genau eingehalten und zu essen gab es die vermutlich beste Pizza, die ich in der Schweiz jemals gegessen habe. Meine Meinung entspricht hier auch jener der anderen Besteller*innen. Gerne wieder!

Ordered for the first time and the pizza was absolutely delicious! Not too much and not too little topping, just right. And stracciatella ice cream was also super delicious! I'm already looking forward to the next order :-)
