Domicil Hausmatte in Wohlen bei Bern

Unfortunately unfriendly, people looked at us with disgust just because we wanted hot chocolate at 11:00 a.m.? I do not understand..

We wanted to go but had a closed company

The Domicil Hausmatte is a retirement and nursing home in Wohlen BE. It is easily accessible by post bus. Post office and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. The Domicil also has a restaurant open to outsiders. It has both retirement apartments and nursing rooms.

Unfortunately it closes at 5 p.m. every day, so it's very difficult to go there at the end of the day

Very courteous service. A quick, funny and attentive lady with a Portuguese accent has sometimes put a smile on our faces.

Very nice residential area. Staff friendly. Everything clean and well maintained.

It's a shame these new opening hours. We were looking forward to the reopening. Nothing more for people who would have liked to come over at the end of the day.

We got food from Beck next door and ate at the restaurant because we were asked if we wanted to. However, it turned out that it is independent of each other and you still have to order something to drink there. But I find the most tedious thing is that you can't even pay by card. Nowadays I find a payment method that is indispensable!

I'm glad I came here to Bistro Hausmatte... friendly service... food 🍽 great normal price... portions are generous... coffee ☕️ could be improved a little... there's a nice terrace and it is near the Hinterkappelen lake (Wohlensee) so you can stop afterwards for a nice walk... we will gladly return!!!

Great food, service mostly good, sometimes waiting times are a bit long

Cozy place to have lunch or just a drink. Quite busy at lunchtime. Staff is friendly. Only the perch fillet should have 6 pieces on the plate. Tartar sauce unfortunately tasteless.

Cozy cafe with a direct connection to the bakery. We often come in the morning and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Children are welcome and have a lot of fun there. :-)
