Crowded, lots of young people, vibrant, great variety of food, recommend “sample” platters. The food is good, but not spectacular ; decent value for money

I approached to ask for a table today, Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m., according to their Google hours it is open until 11 p.m. and the very rude lady said that it was not open, when their online hours are. They say the opposite

We arrived without reservation, warmly welcomed and very well seated despite the crowds, the waitress was adorably nice. The food was above our expectations, in a friendly atmosphere, perhaps missing a little background music, after the bill, my opinion is that I got more than my money's worth, it was gastronomy luxury for a low price We decided to come back often.

The food was very good and you get a good portion. I really liked that you can order a mix plate so you can try as many different things as possible. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was oriental.

Loved this place, had the lentil soup and the mixed grill, both were magnificent!

The food wasn't fresh, didn't taste good at all, and it was also cold. The restaurant is too loud. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

By chance we passed this restaurant feeling pretty famished and decided to have Lebanese food. It was the first time for us. We enjoyed it very much. The food was tasty and the portions were sizeable. The service was nice and attentive. We recommend.

The lady who took our reservation on the phone was extremely courteous, which increased my anticipation of visiting the "Domino" restaurant. The main course tasted perfect, but unfortunately the food was very cold and was served too early, shortly after we had started the taster. After all, it's CHF 36 per plate. I expect a warm meal and better timing. The rather unfriendly way of collecting money was also disappointing, probably by the boss himself. It is unfortunate that the restaurant no longer seems to put in the same effort and care, possibly because the seats are always occupied on weekends anyway. This development is not encouraging. We have decided not to come back for the time being and hope that the situation will improve.

Perfect location, good food but the employees were annoying. As a person I eat in peace and talk with my friends which may take a bit longer but the waiter was not happy with it. He was annoyed and he came to our table several times and asked if I was done. Furthermore, he brought the bill with a face ''Please show yourself out''. They need to learn some etiquette to deal with the customer. We go to restaurants to have a good food and time but at Domino it was a bit uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Had a great Lebanese meal. We would love to go there again.

Friendly and competent service. Fast service, the location was busy. The food was good and recommended. If you don't know enough about the offers, you should simply ask and accept the staff's recommendations. Or try something boldly. Unfortunately, when the restaurant is busy, it gets a bit noisy. It can also be uncomfortable due to the necessary ventilation.

The atmosphere was nice. It gave a vintage vibe. I had an absolute blast dining there. The food is average Lebanese. It is very well located specially if u have to catch a train soon after dining. I ordered a combination of meze which was more than what I could eat. I loved the mottabal!

You can eat exceptionally good mezze at Domino, which is located near the train station. The plates look very attractive, the portions are large, the grilled chicken was great. The service is friendly and attentive, the interior is colorful and oriental. The Arabic baklavas are recommended. On a Wednesday evening it was full, there were a few tables for two. We paid just over 400 francs for 8 people. Recommended and I'll be back.

Quite dissatisfied, I ordered lebanese plate, and with the beef sausage and all, but the sausage needs a lot improvement I think, it was so dry inside... well I like middle east food and tried so many different cuisines, I was thinking the sausage will juicy, soft and meaty taste... I didnt even finish it. Since it was so si dry and weird taste.

We made reservations for two people online and received a reservation confirmation by email and one by SMS. When we arrived there was no table ready for us and we were told the reservation was invalid without a third confirmation. However, there was no mention of this anywhere when booking or on the website. We didn't make the reservation at short notice but more than 24 hours in advance. When we objected that we would assume that the reservation was valid with two confirmations, we were told that it was normal to need a third confirmation due to a problem in the reservation system. This problem has apparently been going on for a long time without anything being done about it or communicating the problem. We didn't receive an apology either; on the contrary, we were blamed for not waiting for the third confirmation and that we could have made a reservation by phone. Since the restaurant was full and there were no tables left, we were sent away. We will definitely not be coming back and will not recommend the restaurant.

Lebanese cuisine at its finest. Attentive service. The only disadvantage: the noise level in the restaurant is rather unpleasant when the restaurant is full.

The waiters get the orders, sometimes wrong but beside that everything was fine.

May be better at other occasions and had I chosen something else from the menu, but first we were seated at the worst table exposed to the draft from the door and second my Fatoush salad was disappointing with cheap ingredients and crunchy greasy chips. But the mint tea was fine and the atmosphere is beautiful.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The service is inattentive and slow. Furthermore, the prices stated on the menu do not correspond to those that are ultimately shown on the bill.

The four of us wanted to have a drink this evening at 10:30 p.m. after attending a concert in Bern. Unfortunately we were turned away very rudely and arrogantly, even though according to official information the restaurant is open until 11 p.m. Incomprehensible to us, unacceptable and economically unsustainable! No wonder that the catering industry is suffering because of such unmotivated employees. We will no longer consider such restaurants!

1. Don't chew gum in front of guests...makes a bad impression 2. Set the tables before 11:00... and not at 12:00 when all the guests arrive 3. better distribution... there were 4 of you and nobody wanted teamwork 4th and most important point NO IDLES!!!!! I ate there few times but after last visit I swear that I will not come back even if I love lebanese food so much. With all our visits, the staff was rude, we were unlucky to have the same man serving us all the time. I don't know if the man which served us was the owner or not (an old man) but all the time he was very rude with us. We speak French, English and Italian and he was arguing with us why we don't speak german!!! Really? It's a restaurant near city center, near train station, tourists are coming often and you should have someone in the restaurant speaking any other language than german. French and Italian are swiss language if you don't know! He told us in a very rude way that if we come to his restaurant we have to speak german! So we are not coming anymore! Shame on you for that attitude towards your returning customers! In general food was good, normal size portion, not big as usual in lebanese restaurants, but for us was just ok. Meat was not of high quality! High prices for what they served. In our visits we had few moments to bring in attention, because you really lack on people skills: I asked cola zero and he brings normal cola, then he was the one upset why I don't want what he gives me. Another time I asked gas / bubbles mineral water and he brings still water, and also got upset why I don't want what he brings me, and each time made rude comments about this. Another time he forgot to bring the complete menu for the mix grill!! He got angry when we ask for the complete menu and asked why we are not happy with what he gives us. We were never asked if we want dessert or coffee. The serving and the attitude of this man made us unhappy with all our visits. We kept coming back because I love Lebanese food, but I will find a better restaurant where customers are respected and well treated. This man is all the time angry if you don't speak german or if you don't accept his mistakes! Lebanese peoples are kind and welcoming but this man was just rude and angry all the time. This is not acceptable!

We waited 15 minutes for a table! The service employee asked us if we had made a reservation, we said no, and the service employee “just a moment please”. Afterwards we were ignored for 15 minutes and she went about her other activities... As ordered and not picked up, we stood there and left the restaurant after 15 minutes.

I ate there pretty well, but the thing that I most appreciated there was their home made ice tea, with roiboos and ginger, which was delicious and would definitely recommend. Service is nice and the atmosphere is very cosy, you really feel at home.

Unfriendly staff and inauthentic Lebanese cuisine of poor quality. The vegan plate for 33 CHF contains just 2 far-dry falafel, half a soup spoon of hummus, a stuffed grape leaf, a small pickled something, something else fried, a tiny spinach bag and a small bowl of salad. That's it. There is also chewy, cold flatbread from a plastic bag. Once and never again! Better go to the Pittaria. There you can get a really good and fresh falafel plate for CHF 20 :-)

Good Lebanese (and Western European) food, large portions. Fast and friendly staff. The price is reasonable (daily menu under 20.-, a la carte with meat around 30.-). It's worth making a reservation, it's usually well attended. Overall a good restaurant, but “outstanding” would be an exaggeration, hence 4 stars.

It was very good, but I would like the meat offered to be produced in Switzerland which would allow me to not only order vegetarian.

I have always enjoyed eating here both for business and pleasure and have never been disappointed. The food is good and served quite quickly. The service is always good and friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and not tacky. If you want to go at lunchtime, you should definitely make a reservation in good time, even during the week.

Good Lebanese meal with gluten free and vegan options. I shared the vegan/gluten free selection for CHF 30 with a colleague and this was enough although is normally for one. Pleasant ambiance and friendly staff, the pitta was a bit tasteless but overall an excellent meal and we were able to get a table for 7 on a Monday night although it was quite busy

Hands down the best Lebanese I've ever been to. I have already tried several dishes, each time of the highest quality, super tasty and beautifully prepared. Very nice staff and lively atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!

They brought me the main course first and then the starters followed 30 minutes later. The best thing is that they didn't even apologize and told me it was normal.

Simply go and enjoy the famous domino middle East flavour

Enjoyable place with a lot of choice. We split a plate in 4 and each one had a main course and it was more than enough for everyone. The taste was really good and the price, compared to other places in Bern, is average or even a bit lower. I enjoyed the first page of the menu with a brief explanation of Lebanon, his history, climate etc.

The food is actually good. Only the following happened yesterday. Since the three of us wanted to eat at lunchtime, we moved the tables together. The waitress even helped. A little later the waitress came with the boss and they wanted us to leave the table. Reason: They wanted to sell 4 instead of 3 seats. Lunch in a not full restaurant. Since we didn't want that, we left. I will never eat there again and would never recommend it to anyone again!

Food is ok, not special but ok. Service is also ok. The older gentleman with glasses comes across a bit bold / rudish for service / resturant business. I wouldn't recommend as a must go in Bern. My 2 cents. Try it for yourself.

Lebanese cuisine tastes good and is always recommended for vegetarians 😋… They also deserve 5 stars for their cuisine, hospitality and friendliness. By the way, it also has a “vegan and gluten-free menu”😃 If you want a table for sure, it's best to reserve on Friday and Saturday between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. 😉 The flatbread is included in the price.

The agreed reservation was lost by the restaurant. All tables were occupied, so we had to leave. Particularly annoying because I came personally to make a reservation and also watched as it was noted in a book. Update: Restaurant replied kindly to my email and proactively offered a voucher without me asking for it. Will give a second chance.

One of the best Lebanese restaurants that we discovered a few years ago, we come back every year. The prices are a little high but the tasting plates allow you to discover a wide variety of tastes and dishes, the mezze, Lebanese wine and baklava are really worth the detour. PS: the service was less friendly than usual during our last visit, too bad.

Very good authentic Lebanese food. Staff very nice. Unfortunately, the staff either don't wear masks at all or the masks hang under their noses or chins. The certificates are also not checked correctly. So you don't really feel safe. A pity. I hope they improve.

As always a great experience, they offer all kind of traditional lebanese food. I love how they cook the Lamb.
