Lovely hotel with very kind staff!

Great experience in this hotel.

Possibility of reserving a closed parking lot for 35chf per day. Spacious room with a large bed, slightly firm bedding. We would have appreciated conditioner in the bathroom and another choice of tea + an infusion and we were missing a large bath towel. Friendly reception service and very well located hotel.

The room,the staff ,the location and the breakfast were all absolutely fantastic at this hotel, so glad we booked our stay here. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. When we arrived we realised that our euro plug adapters didn't fit Swiss sockets (our fault) , so we asked at reception where we could buy one, lady on reception very kindly lent us one for the duration of our stay.

We booked an Executive Family suite, which we understood from the description, as 2 interconnecting rooms. This was NOT the case. It was one room with a made-up sofa bed. Once our bags were in, there was no space to walk. We honestly thought there has been a mistake. When we queried this with reception, they assured us that we has gotten what we paid for, even though their website states the room as: “generous space connecting two bedrooms” and “2 standard rooms of approximately 20 m2 each; 1 room with double bed and shower room, connected to 1 room with 2 single beds and bathroom” Other than this, the buffet breakfast was great & staff allowed a late check out, including the option to store bags for the day.

The hotel itself is very beautiful. Beautiful chalet-style decoration of the rooms. The room is very large and functional. I stay there every year for the Geneva 20km race and I am never disappointed. Small downside this year for the 1:15 wait for 2 burgers ordered from room service. But it's a small detail that didn't spoil the stay. Superb hotel! And well placed too

I was not a customer of the hotel, but of the restaurant. You enter a modern building and then find yourself in a typical Swiss inn where yodelling is also sung. The staff were excellent, the dishes were exquisite and as a true Neapolitan I can say that they served us delicious bread, the best I have eaten in Geneva. From fondue bourguignonne to tarte tatin with medium-high prices I can say that I would go back as often as possible!

We spent two nights at the Edelweiss and were very satisfied. The rooms are modern, nicely decorated and very clean. The size of the two connecting rooms was also good. Fantastic rooms, great staff. The onsite restaurant was amazing (fondue & chocolate fondue). Short walk to lake and old town. Highly recommend. The hotel decor is lovely.

Clean rooms. Amenties good. Modern bathroom. Over priced though but probably normal for Geneva. Superior room looked into residential units and building equipment. Room itself was exactly as advertised in website. Location is farther from old town but close to ferry that goes to old town and other points. 2 big supermkts for snacks and water but many unappealing eateries. Need to go to oldtown for meals. Walkable 10 minutes from train station and 6 minutes bus depo. For service, some barely acknowledge when you enter and seem to not want to be bothered when asking questions. Gloomy cold attitude. Check-in gentleman was very nice and caring.

On arrival we were ignored by staff as they discussed a dispute - not a warm welcome. Very expensive hotel considering breakfast was not included. Room was clean, but not exactly luxurious for the price, coffee and water wasn't replaced on day two. Location is good for the lake. Some good bars and restaurants nearby. But venture onto the streets on the other side of the square, and it is pretty grim.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Our room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. It was a very firm mattress (which I like) and I slept good. Room AC was not the best, but did keep room comfortable. Bathroom was nice with typical small European shower. Gotta be very careful when stepping in and out. Shower drained VERY slow. Bedside had 2 USB ports for phone charging, but only on one side of bed. Plenty of closet and storage space. Safe and mini fridge in room. Decent view from room windows. Elevator was small, but seemed to operate quickly. We never really waited long for it to arrive. Friendly front desk staff. Check-in was very smooth. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as s grocery store. I would definitely stay here again if I was in town.

A great value in a 3 star hotel. In a really great area of Geneva easy walking distance to the lake and old town, shops, bars and restaurants. The staff is beyond excellent, kind, helpful and gratuitous. The rooms are dated, but clean, lots of hot water, mini fridge, comfy bed. The front desk gave us a QPR code to that we could access all public transportation for free. Some really next level Asian food restaurants within minutes of the property.

We had an excellent stay here. Rooms are fairly basic but cute, well outfitted, and clean. As other reviews mention, the beds were two doubles pushed together which was fine for us. Staff was friendly and helpful; especially Pierre who we had a few interactions with. The restaurant is a can’t-miss, it was probably the best fondue we had while in Geneva. The breakfast is great as well, and was a good price at 20chf per person. Location was excellent for us and we walked all over town with ease.

3-star hotel a stone's throw from the lake and the Paquis overlooking a small, quiet square. Clean and properly equipped, air-conditioned rooms; pleasant Swiss chalet style decoration; possibility of connecting rooms. Good quality buffet breakfast, savory and sweet in a pretty setting. Wir waren zum meinem Geburtstag für drei Tage in Genf und haben uns für das Edelweiss Manotel entschieden und es in keiner Weise bereut! Es ist ein komplett renoviertes 3 Sterne Hotel was sich sehen lässt und so manches 4 Sterne Haus in den Schatten stellt! Die Lage ist top, mitten der City, nahe am See und perfekt für einen Ausgangspunkt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Hotel entführt einen in die Schweizer Alpen und Charles. Meiner Meinung nach eine gelungene Idee obwohl man sich in einer Stadt befindet. Das Personal war empfängt einen sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich von Anfang an sehr wohl. Danke für die schöne Zeit und eine 100% Weiterempfehlung unserer seits!

Whilst Looking for somewhere to eat the decoration was a huge pull to go here. When we got to the hotel there was entertainment which really created a lovely atmosphere. Food and service were great and had a lovely evening here.

We stayed at a hotel nearby. The concierge recommended Edelweiss for a taste of traditional Swiss dinner. We were not disappointed! The fondue was delicious (we tried both the cheese and chocolate fondue). The live performance is amazing. The entire evening was very cozy and warm. Absolutely love the experience!

This is A Must for first time visitors in Geneva as not only was the fondue delicious, Edelweiss also has swiss music and entertainment. The restaurant is decorated like a swiss chalet and the group especially liked that audience participation was encouraged,. Guest can try blowing on the long horns and ringing the bells. Adeline helped us get tables close to the musicians, ensured that everyone was served at the same time and that all dietary restrictions were respected. Extremely nice and fun Swiss restaurant with a typical traditional band entertaining guests. It smells good Swiss cheese, service is efficient, nice and professional, delicious fondue. Worth it!

For some, this place will be just fine. I felt like I was at a restaurant in Disneyland - average food, average service, lame entertainment, surrounded by tourists (I can't imagine locals going here). Our waitress was very friendly, just not good at service. Sort of fun to have the live music but it was not really that good. Took forever to get service to order our meal after the menus - and this is coming from someone who just spent two weeks in France and loves a two hour dinner. The food was fairly small portioned for the price. Quality was average. It just missed the mark for us. Would recommend taking a chance elsewhere.

Wir waren hier auf der Suche nach mehr Fondue und etwas Raclette. Ich wusste, dass es kitschig (Wortspiel beabsichtigt) touristisch sein würde, aber ich war ein Tourist, also warum nicht. Jedenfalls war das Käsefondue wirklich lecker - besser als Armures IMO (und Armures war lecker). Der Service war ausgezeichnet und wir genossen die musikalische Unterhaltung. Alles in allem war es nur eine lustige Erfahrung und ich würde wiederkommen.

I had a Caesar salad which was lovely. Friends had the beef fondue which I tried. Superb. Beautifully thin sliced quality steak which cooked in a gorgeous red wine and mushroom jus. It was so tender and tasty.

Great Meal! Great Service. Great Entertainment. They make your meal a family event by allowing interaction with the band and the patrons. Our Granddaughter joined in by blowing the big horn.

Unterhaltsame und festliche Atmosphäre mit einer privaten Party für fast 100 Teilnehmer.Musikalische Unterhaltung mit lokalen Instrumenten wie Kuhglocken und einem Alpenhorn waren ein Hit. Die Teilnehmer wurden ermutigt, das Horn auszuprobieren. Das Fondue war köstlich, obwohl ich es nicht gewohnt bin, es mit so frischem Brot zu essen. Einige Gemüse wäre schön gewesen, um das Essen aufzuhellen.Der Service für Getränke war etwas langsam, auch für Wasser.

Wir wollten dort die Schweizer Kultur erleben. Ich bin so froh, dass wir das gemacht haben. Die Einrichtung war ausgezeichnet, genauso wie die Musik. Das Essen war großartig, einer der Service war sehr langsam, als sie uns vergaßen, aber dies wurde umgehend von einer der ausgezeichneten weiblichen Kellnerinnen behoben.

We hadden een afscheidsdiner met 20 collega's. De vleesfondue was van te voren besteld en werd door iedereen op prijs gesteld. Het eten was goed en voor iedereen voldoende, bij gerechten werden verschillende keren aangeboden. Een van de collega's durfde zelfs op de hoorn van de muzikanten proberen te blazen (ging hem niet zo goed af).
