Yukiguni in Genève

This is one of my favorite ramen bars in Geneva. It's a tiny spot, so try to avoid the rush hour, but it's very cozy and homely. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

Delicious and excellent service

Coming back from 3weeks in Japan where I had at least 1 ramen a day, I'm trying all the Ramen in the neighborhood. This ramen is good, the broth is excellent and very tasty (tonkotsu) but the noodles are just OK (I don't think it's fresh noddles?) the egg is also overcooked. The chicken gyoza are very good.

The noodle is very very good, same as the soup. However, i would prefer if the chashu can grill a bit more with soy sauce. And please please please, change the spoon. Maybe it's big enough for the European to put noodles on it, but it's impossible to drink soup with it.

A really nice small restaurant specialized in Ramen. Very tasty food with some nice-to-try specialities. Noodles are perfectly cooked and broth has plenty of umami. The mochis are a must. Great service and cozy atmosphere complete the puzzle. Great.

A little long wait for takeout. We were offered iced mochi to compensate. Very good, meringue flavor.

Good broth, but...the egg is hard and cold (instead of soft and at room temperature or lukewarm) the slices of meat also come out of the fridge... And finally, the price is also a little high. Too bad, because by changing these two elements, things will go much better. :)

One of the few very good and authentic ramen places in Geneva! Ramen noodles were cooked to perfect consistency. The broth is rich and flavorful. Polite and friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy. Would definitely come back again next time I visit Geneva!

Ordered via Ubereat 1h20 wait which according to the delivery man was due to the restaurant and I want to believe him because the ramen was still lukewarm. 30.- for noodles, broth, half an overcooked egg and an unfortunate slice of pork. Ha, I asked for extra spicy oil but the only thing that bothered me was having to pay for it. In short, other ramen restaurants are much better, I let myself be fooled by their rating on Google, first and last for me.

The Yukiguni Ramen is excellent. Very well made with a delicious flavor 😋. You have to go early because the place is small but welcoming and warm. They don't make reservations. The tram 15 and bus 7 stop are a 3-minute walk away and we are a 10-minute walk from the lake and city center.

We had a nice dinner at the City of Geneva Overall the Food was nice, only they cant provide the garlics for extra! Highly recommended for the people who are craving for Ramen !!

In a pleasant choupoune setting, the team are loving and caring people of authentic nature and feel at home. I promise you that after passing you will want to eat ramen nowhere else but here!!! A real gem indeed!!!! Ah yes, the karagees are incredible, very good in taste, perfect cooking and the size of the perfect chicken, easy to pick up with chopsticks, truly professionals who love their jobs!!!

Great restaurant, I didn't know about cold udon and with the heat outside I really loved it! My downside is that the eggs are hard-boiled instead of soft-boiled, but otherwise I have no complaints!

I came to eat with my son and I had their Ramen dish and it was really good. My son also took guyosas, not sure about the spelling, and extra pasta. I really enjoyed these Ramens and the time spent in this place.

The small restaurant is a big highlight in Geneva. Tuskune and Goyoza are homemade and you can taste it. Ramen was also to die for. Come back!!

After trying all of them, this is by far the best ramen place in Geneva.

The broth is very good but a little too expensive for what it's worth (24.- for a classic ramen). The service is very good however, very friendly. It remains one of the best places to enjoy a ramen in Geneva.

Delicious !!! A must in Geneva!

It was a little bland for since im from asia but i asked for chili, lime, miso and stuff and got it to be flavorful. Really bummed that they gave hard boiled egg for ramen and the logic behind the laws made no sense. Besides that it was a good meal with nice staff. Quite overpriced though.

Very good ramen. The broth is really very good. Pleasant service, the waiters are very welcoming. Downside on the cooking of the egg which is hard and not soft. A bit expensive price…

Best ramen I've had outside of Japan 🍜😋! And the starters are delicious :-) This restaurant without reservation will welcome you in a simple, intimate and friendly setting. I can only recommend!

Very good, particularly the broth but unfortunately the slices of pork and the eggs were cold, I would still try to go back at the start of the service this time, because the taste quality of the dish was still very present and the staff were pleasant and smiling.

Overpriced. CHF 70 for two persons is just a lot! Even by Geneva standards 🤷‍♀️

I ordered miso ramen 🍜, the miso was a little thin, but it was delicious. I never thought I could eat ramen like this in Switzerland. Veggie Gyoza🥟 is also a fried gyoza, but it has a Japanese taste. It is recommended. Perhaps it's because it's such a popular restaurant, but it was fully booked right after it opened.

Simple, authentic, no frills. A real ramen bar serving generous and delicious bowls. Friendly staff and atmosphere of a real little bistro on the go where you can enjoy a meal with friends, unexpectedly. Great discovery.

Very good ramen in Geneva. A little expensive but quality restaurant, very good welcome and service. You only have to see the number of delivery men who come to collect meals during the service to know the reputation of Yukiguni!! On the other hand, if there are several of you, go there early, the interior is small.

Best ramen I've had the chance to eat in Switzerland so far, I highly recommend it, the value for money is perfect. Plus they are super nice and the decor is really good. Nothing to complain about and that's rare for me👍 Ps: it's rare that a kaarage is so good. And the shrimp ramen I devoured.

food 100 we will definitely repeat many times service.... we were six adults and a baby, they didn't let us make a reservation and when we arrived (early) they told us to leave without the option of changing tables when we got free inside... for the rest they were very friendly We couldn't appreciate the atmosphere from the outside. (it looked cozy. but soooo small)

I have often eaten ramen at Yukiguni, I have never been disappointed, it really is such a treat! The staff is always friendly, the frozen mochis are delicious and the teas too!

Best Ramen in Geneva in my book. 20 to 30 Swiss francs for a bowl of Ramen. The side dishes are great especially the chicken Gyosa. No reservations but there is the possibility to wait nextdoor in the Yuki café with a nice beverage (tea or whatever). I recommend this place to anyone in love with Ramen or Japan cuisine in general. Good 3 stars for value for money because 42.- a meal; bowl of soup, daifuku and a small beer, ok everything is good but let's be realistic we have a broth with 3 thin slices of pork an egg an extra 3.- for another added broth, I don't understand.... In summary everything is very good, friendly service, pleasant place, but it remains a soup... compared to other cuisines this is not justified at all, it is 2022 ramen is no longer exotic and does not justify not the same prices. Go ahead but not me anymore..

I like their Yukiguni with shoyu + classic base of chicken and pork broth. It was a light soup perfect for cold weather.

Good/Ok Ramen, but not the best in Geneva.

I'm quite mixed; I came for the first time a year ago and ate a delicious ramen which was in my eyes one of the best I had eaten in Geneva, despite the prices being a little too high. However, I returned recently and was greatly disappointed; our ramen was served to us with a cold garnish (the eggs in particular, which were at fridge temperature) in a lukewarm broth, with service leaving something to be desired. Considering the prices charged, I found this very unfortunate... Edit following your response: are you inviting me? 😁

Been here twice. It’s as authentic as one could get in Europe for a reasonable price. I still haven’t come across the service issue as other mentioned here. Food always come in time and beers come within a minute. Definitely will keep visiting this.

It wasn’t my first ramen, but was the worst . The waitress asked me to change the table (I choose for 4 people (I was with my husband), because for two it was on the sun). I said that it would be uncomfortable to me to seat down their. She insisted. I changed the table, but 3 minutes later the table for 4 was occupied by 2 people again. I don’t understand why she didn’t ask them also to change the table. It was rather unpleasant. So I spent time on the sun (after 8h working day) with bad ramen. Thank you for unpleasant end of the day.

A tall black guy waiter has bad arrogant attitude! We waited our ramen for 45 minutes and asked the waiter why it took so long. He ignored us and didn’t give any explanation. @the owner of the cute ramen place: He chose to dump the 4 portions of ramen away. Take a good look at your material costs and don’t let them hurt your business 😊

Got some ramen to take away. Nothing to complain about, they are perfect 🤩, the broth is exceptional and the staff are very pleasant.

Coming from Singapore where there are a ton of ramen champion shops, I actually preferred Yukiguni's broth by a mile. I had the shoyu + classic base of chicken and pork. It was so light on the tongue yet so umami. My friend had the seafood base and I feel like I've never tasted the same kind of bonito clarity anywhere else. If you're a fan of the 72 hour tonkotsu style with the heavy collagen slick, this may not be the place for you. We were bummed by the hard-boiled egg though, and if the intention was really to suit local tastes, there's no reason to cook it till the green sulphur ring appears around the yolk.

Dining with children is not welcomed here. They were not shy to show off their poor service. Dishes are average overall.
