Really lovely lunch. Took the 3 course menu which came with a few extra small plates and surprises along the way. Definitely coming back. Fantastic food pairings from the chef and his kitchen team plus the front of house team were very knowledgeable about all the dishes which is really great.

Herrliches Essen, tolle Weinauswahl, sehr nette Gastgeber und Mitarbeiter, kurz gesagt, man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Mwine Gäste sind auch jedes Mal sehr zufrieden, einige von ihnen sind auch selber bereits regelmässige Stammgäste.Am letzten Freitag habe ich mich wieder einmal mit einem wichtigen Geschäftspartner in der Eichmühle zum Lunch verabredet. Nach einem sehr schönen Apéro im Garten ging es dann wetterbedingt in den Wintergarten mit dem tollen Ausblick nach draussen.Dann die Speisekarte.. Wieder so ein Tag, an welchem Du alles haben möchtest aber es einen Entscheid braucht. Ich wanke noch zwischen dem Hackbraten und den Rindsfiletwürfel in der Pommery Senfsauce... Nun wo bekommt man noch Hackbraten auf höchstem Niveau gekocht und zubereitet.. Die Wahl fiel also auf den Hackbraten! Mir wurde sogar angeboten, dass ich auf einem Teller beides haben könnte. Aber Hackbraten von Eder's for ever! Nach dem Vitello Tonato mit Tuna Teriyaki als tolle Vorspeise ging es los.. Natürlich gab es vorne weg auch wiedwr den exzellenten Gruss aus der Küche und dieses herrliche Brot. Ab und zu hat man Glück und es gibt im Brotkorb auch einmal ein Stück Zopf wie damals zu Hause bei Grossmutti.Ein tolles Glas Weisswein aus dem Tessin. Was will man mehr. Ok die Gewissheit, dass nun die Ferien beginnen, dies liess mich mein Gesprächspartner mit Freude wissen... Dann das Highlight. Der Hackbraten mit Kartoffelpüree, einer rassigen Sauce und dieses einmalige Lauchgemüsse.. Ein GEDICHT! Wir geniessen diese willkommene Einstimmung ins Wochenende oder eben in die Ferien. Leider viel zu schnell sind die Teller leer. Klar könnte man noch Nachschlag verlangen, doch es gibt ja noch Käse oder eine süsse Kreation. Dieses Mal entscheiden wir uns für etwas Käse mit hausgemachten Früchtebrot und nochmals ein Glas Weisswein dazu. Das zum Kaffee immer noch leckere Friandise serviert werden, haben wir uns bewusst für drn Käse entschieden. Nach dem Kaffee, den Friandise und noch etwas Small Talk mit Oli Eder ging es dann in ein wohl verdientes Weekend,aber mit dem Bewusstsein, dass es am Wochenende wohl kaum nochmals so ein gutes Essen geben wird.
