I'm actually a pretty big fan of Fairyhouse where I often meet up with colleagues. But yesterday I was disappointed again. I had to go to Törtlifee myself and get my vegan cupcake. (It's actually not the first time). Even the lady in the shop was wondering why I wasn't served. Part of the condition is not greeting at all upon entry. I was charged for the small glass of water I ordered (10/2!!). My colleague didn't order it, but she received it and hers wasn't billed. ?!

The atmosphere and furnishings left a lasting impression - perfect for a relaxed Sunday. Unfortunately, I couldn't really warm to the selection; Taste is of course subjective. What disappointed me, however, was the unexpected surprise on the bill. Three Proseccos that were offered to us cost an additional 30 francs. At other brunch places this was always included in the price and I would have appreciated it if the waitress had mentioned this beforehand. At 44.50 francs per person without the Prosecco, I thought the price was pretty high. Overall, an ambivalent experience where the positive atmosphere was marred by unpleasant surprises on the bill.

Anyone who likes sweets is in good hands here. The only shame for us was that there was no sliced ​​dark bread and no yoghurt. Otherwise very cozy and fine brunch.

Although the prices are high, the quality has always been commensurate. Until our last visit. As always, we ordered a gluten-free and a lactose-free breakfast. This time everything was different. Although we had pre-ordered this when making the reservation, we had to wait longer. Since both breakfasts are served on a cake stand etc., everything edible is gluten and lactose free. My companion now also had to eat a gluten-free diet. This is so that there is no confusion. We didn't know about this restaurant before and it was a first surprise. The rolls are individually shrink-wrapped in plastic wrap and as they bake, moisture (of course, but that was already a sauce) forms in them. Didn't look very appetizing when the rolls were floating in the water and were already soaked when opened. After my companion asked if she could have a normal roll, especially because the rolls were no longer edible, there was little enthusiasm in return. All in all, savings were made. I also wonder if they refreeze the rolls that aren't needed and that's why they don't bring them unpacked. The normal rolls are served normally, so there can be no hygiene reasons. In addition, the confusion with the normal rolls would also be eliminated for my colleague, since you can notice which rolls are served in plastic. The cheese was also inedible. Thin slices that broke and tasted like sweat. The grape on the cheese plate was already rotten and was otherwise poorly decorated and served carelessly. Also very unusual because we know it differently. The muesli, even though it was gluten-free, was no longer Bircher muesli, but a ready-made muesli with a little milk infused, which had already been completely absorbed. Two thirds of the breakfast was given back and the employees were rather unfriendly and stressed. We don't know that otherwise either. Nonetheless, sorry, but after this experience we will be holding our breakfast meetings somewhere else in the future. Because as mentioned above, the price is too much for that. It's a shame but we were just very disappointed with the whole visit.

We had a Baby Shower at the fairyhouse and ordered cupcakes and a small cake for 10person from the Törtlifee bakery, which was delivered to the fairyhouse. Everything was very smooth and well arranged. Staff was super nice and helped out a lot. Communication and placing of the order was very simple. The staff was really trying the best to match all our requests. The Cake and the Cupcakes where very delicious. It is very much advised to order those items ahead. There is a buffet which constantly is filled up but the buffet considers mini cupcakes only. Price for the ordered cupcakes as well as the cake was very fair considering custom orders. We ordered a naked cake with dripping and added the decoration on top matching our theme. They offer a Getränkepauschale including coffee, water, orange juice and rose lemonade, which is worth considering it. If you drink more than one coffee i think its well invested. There is a cocktail menu too, we tried different cocktails and where really satisfied. I would like to give it a 5Star but the buffet was just not so mine.

I find it cheeky because the 15.50 per breakfast doesn't even come with a warm drink. There were only 3 confis instead of 9 😉 (one instead of 3 cake stands). And please re-label the parking spaces. I drove around three times because I didn't know that you were allowed to park in the "reserved for the Pöstli" spaces.
