Ferme Robert in La Grande-Béroche

Very unfriendly gentleman who didn't want to allow us to take a break outside at a wooden bench, even for a fee. We definitely won't be coming here again.

Parking located below. Closed in winter. We wanted to have a coffee there but since it was closed we just wanted to sit on the bench outside for a few minutes, which we were refused. Looking forward to coming back this summer so I can hopefully change my mind.

A nice change from my memories. You were able to make the place warmer and more welcoming, without distorting it in any way. Well done !

Hello, know a magnificent place, at the foot of the hollow of the van cirque, I haven't eaten but I'm sure I'm going to go there.

We went to eat the game and it was delicious. The decoration is pretty and meets our expectations for this kind of place. The owners and staff are friendly.

Having known this place since my childhood, we decided to come back by staying there in the Van de la ferme Robert gîte! Very pleasant experience! We ate the hunting version served with roestis! A delight ! Served with a good mixed salad, homemade sauce! !! Excellent meat! !and to finish a homemade breakfast, accompanied by different dried meats, each as delicious as the next! ! Enough to give us strength to continue walking the Jura ridges!! The new owner is happy to make this place warm! Isabelle

We recommend this “farm” restaurant. A warm welcome in a typical, local atmosphere, the menu offers, among other things, rösti, fondues, cheese or game dishes... The service is fast and the temperature of the dishes is correct, the establishment is clean apart from a few dusty decorative elements. We enjoyed our meal, the cooking of the food, the taste, the seasoning and the colors on the plate. The quality/price ratio seems slightly high to us +40 Fr/person without dessert. The portions are correct without being generous. We would have appreciated: - taste a tarte flambée but its price (16Fr) put us off. - that the sauce and the accompaniment of the wild boar sausage be less sweet so as not to take over in order to achieve a finer balance between the salty/sweet mixture of this dish. This restaurant has free parking nearby and is dog friendly.

Pretty Metairie on the way to the Creux du van. It takes another 30 minutes on foot from there. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace, but the interior is also homely. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The menu is small but good, even for vegetarians. The food was delicious!

I was in this region for the first time today. Nice conditions and very uncomplicated. Good food and you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, German-speaking Switzerland cannot keep up with this. You also greet each other there while hiking, even if it is a hotspot - merci beaucoup 👍🏼☺️

I come here once a year. After a hike over the Creux Du Van, we have dinner here and spend the night here. We recommend the Saucisson with Pinot Noire sauce, hash browns and vegetables. The price that I note as “expense” refers only to dinner, without overnight stay and breakfast.

C.It's a long walk but it's beautiful

We were welcomed by the owner as soon as we entered, and the service afterwards was also very pleasant and warm-hearted. The food was tasty, the red wine sauce with the saucissons was very fine. The dessert, “Parfait à l’Absinthe” was also a hit. The ambience, the heavy wooden benches fit in very well with nature, and there are objects everywhere as decoration: skis, sleighs, beautifully designed flower troughs. We would be happy to come back.

Tasty food, served quickly and friendly! Pay attention to the signposts, a narrow, winding forest road leads to the restaurant. Parking lots available. If you want to visit the Creux Du Van, you should be prepared for a longer tour. From here there is a steep climb, but for now it's just forest.

Very good stopover for a fondue while hiking

Very nice place in the forest. The restaurant give a very good Switzerland traditional food! Nice and kind staff! We also slept in the close hostel and it was very comfortable! Recommend!!

First time since the takeover by the new owners and really satisfied! Delicious dishes, impeccable and friendly service, good list of still wines and good atmosphere. However, I only give 4 stars because one little detail bothers me (but really only one): there is only one absinthe on the menu and not really the most original... in the Land of Absinthe, in such a touristy place, some absinthes from artisanal distilleries in Val-de-Travers would be a real plus. But otherwise, the rest is great.

Had only been a short visitor. Only saw and photographed the Creux du Van from below. You have to drive into Val de Travers and then in Noirgue you go up a narrow road. I will go there again and also visit the restaurant. I recommend it. It's cozy and rustic there. I only looked at the restaurant from the outside...

Looking at the other comments, everything looks good and perfect, but yesterday in this case none of that for us. 1h55 after placing the order we never saw the meal arrive at our table, despite 5 requests to the waiters who were completely overwhelmed and lost, not even knowing what people had ordered. So we got up and left on empty stomachs.

Tasty spot for a lunch break or late afternoon snack before or after a hike in this region. Small menu with great dishes served from 14:30-17:00. Friendly service, great food! The homemade salad sauce and their Tarte Flambée are very delicious!

A huge thank you for your warm hospitality. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Dinner was the highlight of our stay. The hosts spoiled us. Breakfast was also delicious, with homemade braided bread and jam. For people who are doing the ridge route, this is an accommodation option that we recommend. We will definitely come back!

We arrived in the afternoon so we had the small menu, but what we had was good. Nice terrace, unfortunately we will not be able to use it due to the weather. Service is good and fast

I have never been so disappointed in my life. After we made the three-hour climb out of Boudry and were looking forward to a place protected from the rain, we were driven away in the most unfriendly manner. No trace of humanity or compassion. The disrespect could only have been surpassed by throwing tomatoes and rotten eggs. I hope that karma does its job here and saves other innocent hiking groups from this place of horror

I have never regretted giving anyone a second chance more. No less unfriendly than two years ago. We were evicted then and it was the same today. The greatest disgrace this blessing-damned valley has ever seen. The cliff would collapse if she knew there was such a patch of dirt near it.

Yesterday we ate morel rostis. Excellent cuisine and wonderful day. We already came to this place two years ago. Very efficient staff.

Unfortunately no one was interested in serving us. WE WERE SEEN ENTRYING. Greet... a foreign word. Then we set off again - the restaurant wasn't busy enough to justify a wait of 10 minutes. The service staff's conversation with acquaintances/friends was probably more important?! It takes a lot for me to give such reviews!

Very friendly and courteous service. Kitchen would have earned a Michelin star (simple but very, very good). Rooms are simple but clean and functional. Creux-du-van can be reached in about 1h15 ascent.
