The food is beautifully prepared and tasty. The service is a disaster and doesn't do justice to the rest of the offer. It would be a good idea to check the wine bottle for cork before handing it over to the bar.

Very good food but very low quantity compared to the price. And when we made the remark we were just told that we are hungry people and that most people eat less than us. I found it a little limiting.

A very nice discovery! On a white ski day, we were looking for a fondue. Nope, none of that here we are told... We then examine the menu, and surprise: no French fries, Wienerli, cheese crusts, ... But very promising starters, main courses and desserts. We tested it, liked it, and we recommend it. Top notch welcome and food!

Invited by friends who were inaugurating their new chalet, we discovered a fabulous restaurant that ticked all the boxes: the location, the service, the dishes, the quantity, the prices, the wine list "High-end with good franquette ". High quality mixed salad, saddle of venison cooked to perfection, quality meat, incredible red cabbage (I'm not normally a fan but this one is just perfect!), real Botzi pear... Everything I I ate was excellent, everything the guests at the table ate was excellent (there were 9 of us). A REAL quality establishment, frankly BRAVO and respect for that. Would recommend to anyone going to Leysin (note that the restaurant was full on a Saturday lunchtime out of season.... totally deserved success - so remember to make a reservation!).

Superb building, very well appointed, The region is magnificent for hiking We just stopped at 13 people on their very large and beautiful terrace for a drink and often after a hike it's a bit of a tradition we enjoy a good pie there and there we don't have any... only lemon tartlets for 10 francs...pcs...that didn't tempt anyone.... But it has become a habit when we ask for the bill they bring it to us and it's a bit of a struggle between you to find the change....restaurant owners are becoming more and more reluctant to have us pay individually!

We went to eat today and unfortunately were disappointed. The prices being relatively high 28.- for the pasta, cordon bleu at 36 like the beef we expected a fine and worked cuisine and above all enough to satisfy us after several hours of skiing, this was unfortunately not the case. The pasta was really average, not bad but definitely not good either, the cordon bleu accompaniments were very good, but then the quantity was tiny and the cordon bleu must have been 3x smaller than the last one I ate.. The salad would have been magnificent, seeds, croutons and several salads unfortunately the sauce was too loaded with Maggi and it took over everything. Damage .. In addition, the bread we received was from the day before and was dry, but very dry. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she said it's a shame you don't like the bread and left. In short, as I said, for the price we paid we expected better and I'm sure that is often the case and that we just missed out. The service was nevertheless quick and pleasant, the tables spaced apart, and plenty of places to hang jackets, helmets and the like.
