(Review for self-service restaurant ground floor) Price 5 stars -> very cheap Taste 1 star -> Bolognaise was completely cold, fries were not fried enough. Offer 2 stars -> no vegetarian menu, offer very small. Duration 2 stars -> Only 1 of 2 cash registers open during peak times Summary: Not recommended at all. Smaller restaurants on the edge of the slopes are probably better. We will not visit this restaurant again in the future.

A restaurant not to be missed if you pass through Leysin! Incomparable panorama (360°), great staff, very accommodating, great menu, price in line with the quality and beautiful atmosphere. Easy reservations via the site to secure a place. We took the fondue of the moment, namely that they happily offer to change the wine for apple juice in the recipe (lighter fondue and suitable for pregnant women) which is very appreciable. Not to mention the paragliding ballet which will delight young and old alike. Do not miss ! Please note, the last descent into the cabin is 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise indicated for an event.

Magnificent place, the view is splendid, the service top. The food was well presented but not at all seasoned. So unfortunately no pleasure in eating. I had a vegetable velouté as a starter which unfortunately was not a velouté and was terribly lacking in seasoning, and for the main course, homemade gnocchi with (if I had known) the same vegetable velouté. So unfortunately, everything was tasteless. And to finish we had a dessert, double cream with meringue and salted butter caramel, top meringue, top caramel, but the cream!!! We were fooled, it was whipped cream, in fact the remark was made. Bottom line: if you're going to eat at their place, eat melted cheese. Because unfortunately the rest is not great.

The problem is clearly that the staff is understaffed. He runs like rabbits, does his best. But the owner really needs to hire more servers to keep it running🤣. 45 minutes for two glasses of water, 1 hour for the syrups, and the dishes, we don’t know yet….

Such a restaurant at the top of the ski slopes is really worth the detour: fine dishes, presentation, service, we are truly in gastronomy. A must do if you ski in Leysin.

A year ago it was 5 points everywhere and now a new owner and a new chef, what a shame :-(. A few halved potatoes with cheese, some cream and 3 hams for 29 francs and you're still hungry afterwards. A scoop of ice cream for 4 Francs, cream, caramel and ice cream for 7 francs and you almost have to look for the ice cream. Unbelievably, a year in 2023, a wonderful, beautiful, large ice cream, a rösti beautifully prepared and now this dismantling in 2024. So, so sad.

Waiting more than an hour to be served super salty dishes, warm and reheated because they were prepared the day before (beef cheek), at prices that are quite high for what was on the plates...IT'S BULLSHIT!!! And the poor staff forced to lie: "the chef felt ill and had to go home" or, later: "the computer system did not transmit the order to the kitchen". The apologies from the staff (who had nothing to do with it) didn't help to spend 2.5 hours eating just the main course and a coffee. TO AVOID.

The restaurant in question disappointed on several aspects. The quality of the food was poor, the dishes lacked flavor and seemed prepared without much attention. Additionally, the service was slow and inattentive, with uninviting staff. The overall experience was disappointing, not meeting the expectations one might have of an establishment of this type.

The menu is not diverse enough. If you are vegan, vegetarian, have allergies or anything else you will quickly find yourself with nothing optional on the menu. The restaurant is running, personally I didn't like it because it made me dizzy and be careful if you come when the sun is beating against the windows it heats up quickly. There is no raclette option (which is still a mountain basic!).

WE WILL NEVER BE BACK. Our experience was very bad, we went there on Saturday, January 20, 2024. For sure we booked in advance and we had our table on time. However, the menu was very limited especially if in our case since we did not eat pork meat, also the menu was different from the one on their website and this was surprising for us. Finally, when we asked for a non-alcoholic fondue, the staff were very impolite and refused to remove the alcohol saying that they prepare it once and all together for all the people and they did not want to prepare it separately for us. This is unacceptable reason, since we tried the fondue without alcohol in several places all over Switzerland, e.g., Zurich, Geneva, Lucerne, Saas Fee, Swiss holiday park, and all of them welcomed our request. Unfortunately the food was very bad beside the impolite and very slow service of the staff.

I went with my class to camps, the Bolognese was liquid, they didn't give enough food, everyone was still hungry. HORRIBLE!!!

I have been coming for years and this year I had the feeling of arriving in another country.... no fondue even though it was December 30... fondue stoves everywhere and they explained to us that it was pear the bacchus fondue and that the half and half fondue was on the menu in summer only, never seen before There are cheese makers everywhere around Leysin but no fondue in the restaurant. For a ski station restaurant, the food, service and the rotating view (360 view of the station) were a very nice surprise to discover. I would say it's a must to do experience.

Terrible service. We ordered from a waiter first and after 5 minutes another waitress came to tell us that we couldn't sit down and that she couldn't serve us because the place was full. He made it clear to us that we could not be served and we were forced to leave.

Extremely disappointed. Magnificent setting, but there is no coordination in the teams. Whether serving or in the kitchen. Nothing is wrong!!!! The starter that arrives at the end of the meal, the waiter who goes to the wrong table, we looked for the baskets of bread ourselves, we asked for a dish without cheese, and Hope! cheese... and so on. Very good idea the revolving restaurant, but you will have time to go around three times before leaving this place. But thank you for the compensation for the free board, it’s always a pleasure.

It's not cheap, especially for Portuguese, but it provides a different experience. I recommend booking in advance for lunch at the revolving restaurant.

Wonderful meal, the service was good and the view is wow.

We were very lucky, booking one we got a table near the window. The tour actually lasts 1h30 and it's absolutely magical, the sun was shining, it was magical. The hunting menu was good too, in short, to do again👍😉

We had a great time. The staff is very welcoming and they even gave us water for the dogs. They take great care of us. The kitchen is really perfect and we ate very well.

Absolutely unsuitable for groups. Staff only speak French or English and seemed stressed and nervous from the moment we arrived. Ambience okay thanks to the revolving restaurant. But not anymore. Ne jamais au revoir, never see you again!

Very nice place, a very nice experience. The best is to book if you really want to be in front of the windows (weekend, public holiday or vacation period). Top service, very friendly. Very good meal. Slight downside, the card is quite small and the price is relatively high. But the quality is there.

Obviously we don't come to this magnificent revolving restaurant to eat gourmet food, however the menu is short and the meal is good. It remains a very good experience, when the weather is good. Reservations are required, especially on sunny weekends

Definitely worth a visit. Can book via telephone or email and during the summer not 100% necessary but saves a wasted trip. Over the course of 90 minutes you slowly rotate whilst enjoying your food. We had the fondue and there was plenty for 4 people and the child's pasta was described as "great" by a 12 year old. Getting there from Leysin is a 25 CHF gondala ride (return) and that gives spectacular views also.

The restaurant is great with a perfect setting the staff is very professional and friendly however big disappointment with the food. The plates were however very well prepared with a beautiful presentation but the quality was not there. We took a slice of slow-cooked pork which was so dry, very difficult to eat and for the rest everything was cold, reheated quickly... Too bad with this setting we should have had a fondue.

The waiters are not friendly, or even high on weed? The coffee is disgusting and the waiter spilled some on the side; he didn't even apologize and charged the standard rate for a half-spilled espresso. The view is the only nice thing, but you can have it for free outside the restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant on two separate occasions, and I am so impressed! Every time you go there you have got completely different views on mountains and nature around. The restaurant is also moving so you will get a 360 degrees observation. Is a good place up on top to chill after a long hike or during a ski day :)

First of all, we were lucky enough to be able to move our dinner 24 hours due to the weather, the restaurant was very kind on this point. After being well received, we were placed at the window as requested when booking, a good plus point We had foie gras as a starter and it was super good, as were the side dishes. Then the fondue was good too, nothing to say about the food. We had a spritz to start, and the dosage was really great! The view is superb when the weather is clear, we were able to enjoy the 360 ​​degree view with the rotating platform, it’s a nice experience.

To do once. The restaurant operates very slowly, during the meal. When you sit in the opposite direction, it's not too comfortable but you get used to it. I found the meal to be quite expensive considering the dishes. Very friendly and responsive staff.

So it's good, it's expensive, it's nice... But I don’t recommend it for anyone who gets seasick. The restaurant is running and of course it's nice for some, but personally, I can't eat properly while my brain makes me understand that it has a problem...with the landscape scrolling very slowly and the fact to remain stationary. Also, the way the restaurant moves means that we feel the "cogs" sometimes jerk...and it's annoying.

Great place to take a break. On the other hand, prices are increasing / quantity on the plate is decreasing. The Savoyard fondue was quickly folded to 4... Last year we had the same menu and it was cheaper and it was ok in terms of quantity. It's a crisis for everyone but at 25€ for a fondue we don't expect more... Fortunately the waiter was great!!

We went there with friends, unfortunately no luck, the weather was not good! However, the restaurant was very beautiful and the servers were welcoming. The meal was good, surprisingly inexpensive, one would expect it to be much more expensive given the location. However, the waiters were totally overwhelmed, we had to ask several times to order, then a technical problem deleted our order, so we waited another long time for our dishes. I think this doesn't always happen, but it was still too long a wait.

Fortunately there is a view to awaken your senses. Between your hearing being abused by a Connemara Lake while your palate strives to find a sign of taste in what you have just put in your mouth, we were far from imagining experiencing an immersion in the world of perceptual disorders when setting foot in this restaurant. Very unfortunate that the kitchen does not live up to the setting.

Magical, a lunch that made our heads spin. A sublime place at an altitude of 2000m of which the Swiss have the secret. Perfect and attentive service. We love it and if we can we will come back with joy.

I was at the self-service restaurant. The fries were very thin, sloppy and oily. The hot chocolate reminded me of the cheap vending machines of 20 years ago.

We had booked and planned to go eat for our end of year dinner... Arriving at the cable car we were told that everything was closed.... Thank you for our dinner! A phone call would have been a minimum.
