Fleur de Pains in Vevey

I visited the Fleur de Pain bakery in Vevey today. I had a hot chocolate and a lemon tart and a pear tart. The pear tart was also very good. The dough was crispy and the pear was well cooked. On the other hand, the lemon tart was a little dry. The dough was thin and the lemon cream was a little dry. Overall, I had a good time at Fleur de Pain bakery. I would recommend the place for a breakfast or a snack.

I rarely go to this place just for comfort reasons to have a drink. I have back problems and the chairs are only made of wood...hard hard hard!

Roud people, it was all good until we made our purchase; after the purchase, some of the employees tried to kick us out because I said I wanted my food in a to-go bag ( to make it easy for the kids to eat on the go) that was not the end, our group was polite and quiet, on our way out my wife was busy assisting our kids, and we all hear the cashier yelling at her in French, trying to educate us that we have to say goodbye and thank you all the time, we said it once, but after you try to kick me out of the store, I would not have any expectation. That was Christmas 2022 Sunday morning Nothing to complain about regarding the food, but we were unable to come back due to the experience we had.

Coffee really not good! As someone who generally loves good coffee, this was a failure! Just like baking! I took a vermicelli, very disappointed with the taste and texture!

I walked into this pretty bakery by chance. There was a good presentation. The staff was friendly. I had a ham sandwich with the multigrain bread. He was excellent. Bread goes a long way in a sandwich and I think it was just perfect. I'm not from the region but the day I return to Vevey, I'll definitely stop by to get a good sandwich. THANKS

But this morning, when someone asks me what I want, without saying a simple "hello", then they give me the amount to pay, without saying please, and in the end, we turns towards another customer, without even mentioning a "goodbye" so this is a combo that I cannot accept in a small establishment such as this.
