The first impression was good. Even have their own beer. Unfortunately... We, 3 adults, consumed 4 rounds of drinks. The children 2x drinks plus food. Now it's coming! Imperceptibly! (It is NOT visible) EUR 2 was collected per item (glass, plate, etc). This was not pointed out when checking out, nor was this deposit reimbursed when it was returned. We saw by chance that guests who had already had the experience had their deposits paid back. Only upon request, and not without making an unnecessary comment, was the deposit money refunded. Conclusion: We, guests who spent CHF, were only cheated out of CHF 30 by asking, not by asking. We were no longer able to provide evidence for the children's items. Why the children! CHF 12 too much was collected. NOT LIKE THAT!

Nice snack bar in Basel, right on the banks of the Rhine, and with friendly service. The coffee is freshly made with a portafilter machine and the milk foam is also freshly frothed. The dishes are also freshly made and look delicious. The ambience is really nice, as it is located directly on the Rhine. Highly recommended.
