Actually nice place and good restaurant. The fact that opening times are communicated on the website until 10 p.m. 7 days a week and that we were already standing in front of closed doors at 6 p.m. twice is not possible. If you close earlier in the evening, no problem. But it would have to be communicated. A pity. Is a no go.

Very nice, cool playground for children

Hmm, the meat looked so good, but it was way overcooked and therefore dry. Possibly having to grill too much at once. It wasn't my meat, it was too cooked and dry. It's a shame, visually it was actually very nice with the saffron noodles.

Large, beautifully fruity portions. Hospitable service staff. Interesting atmosphere with gliders taking off and landing and impressive model airplane flights. Free parking spaces. Happy to recommend it.

Definitely one of the best restaurants I've eaten at. Very nice view of the mountains, the airfield and the cows in the meadows. The food was extremely good and more than enough, even for the kids. The playground is a highlight including a plane to climb on. The runway is right next door and you won't miss anything.

The service was excellent, the food was perfect (the portions are very large, so it's worth ordering the small portion if you're slightly hungry). A very successful evening. Thank you - see you next time.

fine restaurant, good ambience, super nice service

The service is actually friendly, but you simply don't get noticed on the gravel square. From ordering to ordering something again, we also had to call twice to pay. It's not the first time The staff prefers to stand at the back of the buffet and chat with 4 people. It's a shame.

The restaurant is located directly on the runway of Schänis airfield, so you can watch the planes take off/land. The food is good, the staff friendly. Definitely worth a visit, especially with children.

Service inadequate. We waited at least 10 minutes for the order to be taken. It had moderate guests and enough staff - but they were shockingly unmotivated. A pity.

Very nice Restaurant and cool view over runway. One can watch planes taking off and landing while waiting for food. Lunch was nice and acceptable. However, i feel the staff could do with a bit more training. It also would be helpful to have waiter/waitress assigned to table. It gets confusing when served by several different persons.

Service underground. Nice terrace. Came because of the recommendation for the praised house gem. Wähe.... however, on the day of my visit, I only received convenience Wähe, which the service person said: "I think it's from our kitchen" when asked whether it was homemade.

Mega delicious and mega class as we are used to from the operator. All of its restaurants offer excellent quality and very friendly service. Of course, the airfield ambience still has its own charm. You can also enjoy watching the glider pilots. For the children there is a beautifully landscaped playground in keeping with the theme. Definitely very happy to come back.

Overpriced, uncoordinated, untrained. Service staff makes a chaotic impression. Starters were wrong. For the main courses, several orders were forgotten to be made. The food was ok, but massively overpriced for the price-performance ratio. It seems as if one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. What makes things worse is that the staff can only use the German language to a very limited extent.

Beautifully and quietly located all around green and hilly. Service very friendly, food and drink very tasty. Everything is just right here. You can also marvel at the glider pilots. Always my pleasure. You can also celebrate festivals here.

Best restaurant in the region, with fair prices.

Pilot burgers, double deckers, yes this must be an airport restaurant. Eating with a view and glider traffic is almost a gastronomic experience. The quality of the food and its presentation could almost be heavenly. Very good restaurant with a varied menu at fair prices. There's nothing wrong with it at all if you overlook the staff shortage on a Whit Monday. This means that long waiting times for service are forced, which is quite bearable if the cleaning of the dishes didn't also suffer. We received a dirty glass and knife, and the table wasn't cleaned properly either. Now that this restaurant has/had real potential, we will visit it again in a few months. In any case, the ice cream creations look very creative and make you want more. And when the staff shortage is resolved, the 5 star will probably still be there, which would be a real shame for the top kitchen!

A beautiful, top modern restaurant with an airport next door. A large children's playground with a large airplane to board. The food is delicious and the desserts are a delight. A large covered terrace above and below with lots of seating options complete the experience.

Everything for sailors up to towed aircraft is available. Motor sightseeing flights in the Alps. Newly even electric flight school. Restaurant and knows what and spectator terrace.

The four men serving there are really great. Attentive, friendly and quick. My Schnipo was great, the fries were nice and crispy and not full of oil. Tip top highly recommended.

Was there again and again and the kitchen and the staff were friendly, the kitchen was excellent, despite the beautiful weather, we were served a delicious meal at short notice. Keep it up and I'll advertise the excellent hospitality from the staff as well as the kitchen. 👏

5 stars for the nice and quick service. The salad is really tasty and the sauce in small bottles is original and you can choose the amount yourself.
