Very well maintained and certainly historical restaurant. The service and kitchen provide your customers with first-class food with a lot of charm and sophistication. The ambience is very nice and well maintained. The wine list also offers a wide selection of good wines. The desserts are mostly "Fatta in casa" and very tasty. We will be back.

The waitress didn't understand German well. The cordon bleu were tasty, but the fries were delivered too late and not for everyone, the fourth portion was only delivered upon request. When we settled the bill, we had to add up the prices ourselves. For the price I expect a different service.

The service was perfect, the wine too and the lunch menu was delicious. The waiter brought us a bottle of wine and we were able to enjoy 3 dl of it 👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Delicious food but several problems 1. It is far too expensive for what you get, e.g. the Nüssli salad for 20 fr. 2. This is not a negative comment but a positive one. It has decent toilet paper

On the recommendation of a friend who praised the good cuisine, I reserved a table. After this first visit, which didn't live up to expectations, we decided to make a second visit and celebrated my birthday at the Gasthof Hecht. As was the case the first time, the charming ambience of the restaurant was pleasantly noticeable. The tables are beautifully (and correctly!) set and there are cloth napkins, which I really appreciate. Since we women still had to drive, Mr. Da Silva recommended a non-alcoholic gin and tonic. A surprisingly good aperitif. The dishes we ordered were well prepared and tasted good. The desserts were also good. In terms of price, everything is at the upper limit, e.g. Starter melon with raw ham CHF 26.50, I think it's quite generous. We were served partly by Mr. Da Silva himself and the same service person as on the first visit. I would be happy to invite friends/family to the Hecht again if there is something to celebrate. The price is too high for me to just go out for a nice meal. Overall, a recommendable restaurant, the criticisms of the first visit that were directly communicated to Mr. Da Silva were probably an unfortunate exception.

Quite a nice hotel with some weaknesses. We booked the Suit 315. The loudness of the church bells and the noise in the street were particularly disturbing. The windows had to be closed at night, there was a fan in the room but no air conditioning. The mini bar consisted of 2 small bottles of water. The arrangement with the nearby bakery where breakfast was served went wrong. So we didn't have a reservation and had to sit outside in cool temperatures. But it didn't bother us. Price/performance doesn't match for me. I require a coffee machine, a stocked minibar and a peaceful night's sleep in a suit.

The meal was excellent. The service at its best. It was clean and tidy. The toilets were spacious and very clean. We'd love to come back

Best restaurant in Fehraltorf Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere including a garden restaurant. Higher level, which also has its price, but it's worth it, we visit again and again DANGER: Older reviews are not relevant, unfortunately the restaurant had many changes of owner and is now fortunately "stable" again. The restaurant and hotel part are also independent and reviews are mixed. Room reviews on the restaurant can be ignored and vice versa.

The food has been great so far. It comes at a price, but it's always worth it. Very cozy and nice service. Only one red wine by the glass, but it's great. We are always very satisfied and thrilled!!
